"I only took enuff for me to last until my shipment of red wine comes in, which will be very soon." She closes her eyes, letting his blood flow filling her, her eyes change back to their brown color. "Thank you love." She says quietly.

he noded, holding her a little more tightly. " dont thank me love. you are my mate, i will provide for you." looking back at the door he shrugged. if they need us they will call us.. untill then im going to let little love rest.
Vein stayed curled up next to lily as he talked quietly with Hera. " why do you think the sword keeps hurting this one... i dont understand why it would.."

"I know, but I am taking from you, and I have to thank you for letting me do so." She said very quiet. Phantom rests her head on V's chest.
Hera looks at Vein. "Maybe it is trying to get revenge on Edward. Maybe it is trying to take something away from Edward for payment for taking him."

he held on to her, just noding. " very well then little love."
Vein snorted and curled up tighter. " then im glad i was not made by V's sister. with that twisted thinking i would be miserable." he looked at lily, watching her face carfuly. " i would not attack an innocent like this... even if i were upset or twisted like that blade.." he said quietly.

Phantom smiles standing there. A few moments pass then she sudenly falls, passing out.
Hera has the look of pain on her face. "I would never wish this on anyone, ever." Hera curls up next to Vein, her head next to his.

V feels his heart stop. he catchs her in his arms and carrys her to the window seat, then calls Hera to him.
"Hera.. pleaes come, let Vein stay with lily for a moment. i need your help."
Vein tilts his head to the side as he hears that, then looks to Hera.
"i can watch the lily until you get back little dragon... "

Hera gets up. "Ok, she has passed out." Hera trots her way to the room next door. "V, she lied, she didn't take enuff, she just took a few drops of it." Hera jumps onto the seat and looks at V concerned. "The blood on her chin was all she took to make it look like she took your blood. She doesn't want to hurt you because she knows it will hurt no mater how much she takes."

he frowned, then set her firmly across his lap and looked at Hera. " oh did she now. she needs to learn something very important about metal mages then, what hurts normal people barly even stings us. matter of fact it feels pritty good." he stubronly looks at Phantom and sighs. " she wont forgive me easily, but i wont let her hurt herself." he nicked his wrist and held it to her mouth, then pushed his mind into hers. he makes her bite down and drink, makeing sure she takes enough before he lets up on his control of her. he doesnt stop her from drinking after he lets go of her mind, just looks at Hera and speaks lowly so he wont wake Phantom. " so she will be better with the blood she has taken from me?"

Phantom trys to push him out of her mind but can't because he is too strong for her. She drinks over a quart of his blood before stoping.
"Phantom is a very caring person and if she thinks she is hurting someone she will stop no mater what." Hera curls up on the window ledge
Phantom turns to her side and is asleep.

he alows a smug smile to show. " she still took enough to feel better. thats what was bothering me." he looked down at her, moveing her hair from her forhead and tucking it behind her ear as he moved his fingers soothingly across her cheek. " she is the kindness to my harshness. where i defend her she soothes me just by being near. she is the light to my dark.. if you will." he held his tattooed arm down next to hers, showing Hera how the tattoo's matched up perfetly, spelling something completely differnt than they did on their own. " i must do what is best for her.. even if i must face her wrath afterwards."

Phantom wakes after V is done talking to Hera. She didn't hear any of it. She sits up and looks at him with a pained look. "I'm sorry." She is very quiet when she said it. She looks down letting her hair fall infront of her face hinding it.

he shook his head and pulled her to him. he wraped his arms around her as he layed his head on hers, talking soothingly. " its alright little love. you were trying to protect me, i understand that. " he carfuly reached around and petted her hair as he tried to sooth her. " its fine.. hush now, its ok"
