He stiffened, keeping a watchful eye on Kirai and Edward. He was very overprotective of Kirai and it showed.

"But you came after me in specifics, to try to help right? Seeing how I had already incountered you, yet did not lift a finger twords your family." She was taking a major gamble just assuming this, but it was worth a try. It annoyed her how he spoke of Dr.Avarice, yet she kept her eyes on settling this, seeing how the fight here would be meaningless in the long run.

She did not know how Dr.Avarice would feel about this, but she knew he wanted to see how the child would turn out, seeing how such a case is so rare... in addition, they could take him on fairly easily, but there was no real purpose she felt at the moment.
