[OMG DICE NEEDS TO STOP ROLLING 8!!!]
Once she pulled up enough hair and tied it with her rubber band, Serena looked at the trinkets laying around and examined each one.
Twilight time: Serena looked around at the trinkets then out the window, realizing just how late it had gotten. Not many were in the room, and those that had finished had left. Since the next morning they would be doing the same thing, she set her comb down and went home, falling asleep while thinking about the different hairstyles she could make.

Kore pulled the cart from the training grounds to the shinobi academy. It seemed he almost went backwards from where he was going. Still somehow he would manage to get to the forest soon. Pulling the cart almost past the front doors of the academy Kore's highly developed cat like sense were attacked by the strong smell of perfume and make-up coming from inside. He did not know what it was but it made the young cub sneeze uncontrollably. Dropping the rope the cub quickly laid down covering his nose with his paws to try and block the odor from throwing off his senses he would have to move quickly to avoid such smells from incapacitating him for to long.

While Kore could breath he took one large breath and quickly grabbed the rope and began to move with it. He had no choice but to continue to move with this one breath until he got past the door at least. Pulling as hard as he could he managed to get past the door and a little bit more. Continuing his breathing the cub pulled harder knowing he was closer to Karite then ever. Tugging hard he made his way to the forest of Sorrows. He was almost done, he knew it was tough but he did it. Baki would be proud of him.

Udo ambled on into the academy, aware that it was still early for people to be showing up at all. With a chuckle, he sat at the desk in the front of the classroom, grabbing a book on the way there and propping it open on his leg. He sat with one of his legs crossed over the other, his arms crossed over his chest and only moving to turn the pages of the book on his leg. He had picked up a book of the history of the island, and he wondered how many of the academy students knew anything at all about Shimagakure's history...he himself was learning now, since he had come here recently and hadn't had much time to spend at the library since his shop had been moderately popular with the villagers. With a smile, he continued to read. Maybe he'd play some sort of trivia game with the students today...that would both snap their brains into action and teach them how to work together. Oh, what fun...

Head low and covered by the hood, steps steady and silent, Sorri had walk into the academy expressionless. He took notice to everything, but waited till he sat to think on the happenings of his surroundings. He had no idea who this teacher was, nor why the hospital nurses were attending to the girls hairs like this is some after sleepover-do event. What was up with school and what happened to the teachers? OH, thats right...the war, they all went to fight or something? Meh, they would be fine, its was doubtable they could or would die. Sorri slid down into his seat and slowly slid his head down and closed eyes to listen at everyone

While listen to everyone in the room already, Sorri got a little comfortable and and rose his arms onto the desk and laid his head upon them. His forehead had started to hurt, besides it wasn't like he would fall asleep, just that it was better for his eyes to close. In that manner he would hear better if he wasn't using his sign. it hadn't been ten seconds in before he gave a loud snort and jolted up, his hood flopping from his head to behind his shoulders. Sorri's eyes swiped around the room. Not much change, I guess I wasn't sleeping for long He eye the temporary teacher for the class, who seemed into the book he was reading. Orika left Moss Mop behind as she raced to the academy, driblets of seawater still dripping down her tanned calves. "I thought you said you were really fast!" she yelled, teasing the dark-haired boy who was still struggling to climb the hill with his black-pawed companion. Orika hopped behind a rock and peerẻd over the edge of the incline, gauging how much longer until the pair would catch up with her restless spirit. When she put it that way, the answer was never, duh! She had just met Karite, but the girl already liked him, liked the way his steel eyes sharpened when he talked of facing Tanu even with the unlikeliness of beating her. She wouldn't challenge somebody to a fight if she couldn't guarantee a victory. But, his thing with honor and Karite's thoughtful manner would definitely help. He certainly had way more will power in his fist than Tanu had in her entire fashion senseless body.
A sign escaped cracked lips, impatience escaping through the maze of dried blood droplets and pink veins. Her foot tapped furiously now that her thoughts had run into a blank. Orika normally didn't think so much; She reserved the time it would take to analyze some meaningless detail into actual work, just like she should be doing now. The girl took off running towards the academy. Her sandy-covered sandals could be heard crunching all the way to the whitewashed building, where she skidded to a stop outside. Instead of entering just yet, Orika wanted to finish building her trap and what better place to check if her hole was well hidden than an institution of ninjas to be? Russet eyes checked the pathway to the academy until she could be sure that no one was around. Orika bent and dug an ankle deep hole where the path was narrowest, making the hole wide and steeply slanted. She found two sticks about half an arm long and sharpened them on a rock until the points practically glistened. These she stabbed at an angle into the dirt just outside of the hole and pushed hard until the sharpened stakes protruded inside the trap. They came off at a downward angle, brushing the other pygmy stick slightly when their ends overlapped. The girl patted down the sticks, adjusting the angle and making sure they were securely fastened. Orika figured that it would be easy for a person to fall into this trap since their foot would slid down the tilted sticks. However, when that person tried to pull her foot out, she wouldn't be able to because the pointy ends of the sticks would jab at her ankle.

Now all she needed was a way to cover the gaping mess she had made. Orika chewed on her salty thumb, eyes darting around the place as she looked for materials to hide her trap with. She glanced behind her back, then towards the towering academy, always worried that someone was watching her. What good was a trap if people knew where it was? Hm, a good trap should blend in with the environment so an unwary wanderer wouldn't even be suspicious. She needed something big enough to cover the three holes she had made. That's it! Orika ran off into the bamboo forest and abruptly returned with several faded green fronds she scavenged from the ground. She embedded the leaves about a centimetre into the hole, piling the fanning blades together so that they made a thin, fragile plate. On this she put a few layers of the khaki dirt and sand until her hole had all but disappeared. Orika checked around her one more time, satisfied when she discovered that no one she could see had been looking at her work. Whoot! She scampered into the academy, taking a seat near the entrance, but away from any windows in case some smart student figured her out.

"SNORE!" Orika yelled as she crashed into the classroom, fists pumping into the air from her recent and very, very secret success. Her ears were always tuned in for the high-pitched yelp of a poor academy student that had fallen prey to her trap. Once she heard something, Orika would rush out as fast as she can to help the person disable the trap. She didn't want anybody to get hurt! But, as she looked around the napping classroom, the girl wondered whether a slap or two would liven things up. As far as she could tell, ninja school involved a teacher teaching and students studying, not an albino boy yawning at some dude who thought this was a library. Without wasting a second, Orika scurried over to the white haired, white hoodied, and uh... white-bellied kid and loudly slammed her (again) dirt covered hands. "Hey, wake up! Don't ya know we're having a study hall today so you can train anything ya want? I don't think you were meditating," Orika giggled, poking the tiny shrimp boy in the forehead. He was so small that looking straight forwards, she didn't think she'd be able to see the kid. "We're supposed to be training!" she exclained, the edges of her mouth curling upwards into a smile. Her mahogany eyes roamed 'round the classroom until the girl spied a box of jigsaw puzzles. "Come on, let's go put together that puzzle! Are you game, Snowflake?" Orika couldn't think of anything smaller or whiter. A small laugh escaped her lips when she remembered Akiko, the Snowball she had met yesterday. The two white-haired children looked really similar. Maybe they were brothers and sisters, with this boy being the younger one. The thought brought an even bigger grin to Orika's face as her not so deft hands struggled with the puzzle box lid. Out tumbled small pieces of varying shapes and colors. The pieces were thick and some even curves, leading the girl to think that the puzzle was three dimensional. How tough! Orika searched the lid through, but couldn't find a reference picture anywhere. It was a good thing the puzzle was relatively small, although the girl couldn't tell what the sculpture resembled since the weird colors made it seem like abstract art. She'd have to tackle this with brains alone, but the girl really didn't want to do it alone. "Do you want to play too, blond-sensei?" she queried, shaking the grey cardboard box.

Karite and ore had ran into a strange farm girl by the name of Orika. she had a run in with Tanu as well. She wanted to help him with his fight but Karite was a man of honor although being a thief didn't really show that. Karite ran as fast as he could to the academy not really paying attention to the ground, but he managed to pick up on the different path of grass. Jumping up and rolling back onto his bare feet. Sliding to a stop Kore trotted beside him. "Orika must be inside. She said she was working on something to slow Tanu down." Standing up Karite shook his hair out the best he could before taking the band from his wrist and tying it back up. "Wonder what she is doing putting traps around the school."
Kore had never thought the females on this island were crazy till he met that girl. The salt air was still stinging his nostrils but at least both he and Karite were not dirty anymore. Although he looked like a walking puff ball. running along side Karite he noticed the fancy aerial moves the boy showed and soon noticed why. Somebody had laid a trap for an unsuspecting person. This boy was good. The more the two spent time together the more they bonded. Moving in with Karite towards the academy last time he was kicked out but Karite said nothing as they entered.

Karite walked into a class were he saw a man he didn't recognize and Orika. "Thanks Orika! I almost twisted my ankle running up here. Your lucky I am light on my feet." Karite wasn't made he was actually a little happy Orika placed that trap. It made Karite realize tonight might be perfect to fight Tanu. He tried to not let that show. Walking in he sat down at a desk next to the girl and looked forward. he still couldn't recall who the man was. He knew of only a few adults in Shima. misses Yuki, Shuga, Jonu, Tomoko, and the weird guy who tried to eat him. "Whats his story." Karite asked leaning towards Orika.
Kore followed Karite down the hall his claws clicking the floor with every step. Walking into the class Kore instantly picked up the smell of food off the man and remembering his face. He was the one from the ramen shop who fed him this morning. The other scent was of th shoreline which meant it was the strange female. Following Karite Kore laied down by his feet his eyes shifting every so often around the room.

"Well you were so slow coming up from the beach that I had to test you out somehow," Orika replied with a teasing smirk. Karite was such a kidder; There wasn't even a scratch on his ankle, meaning that he'd been able to completely avoid her trap. Orika peeked out of a window to make sure the pygmy stick trap still remained. Satisfied that she'd get another chance with the next unsuspecting victim, the girl turned back to Karite. "No, he must be pretty new here. We got a boatload of villagers a month or two ago. But hey, Kore seems to recognize the man. Is he nice?" she asked, addressing the dark furred lion cub. She fingered a red puzzle piece with four protruding semicircles, trying to pick up on some pattern. Unlike a two dimensional puzzle, this one didn't seem to have any straight edges, leading Orika to wonder if the overall shape was a sphere. Maybe. Well, the best thing to do right now was to group by color. Orika moved pieces around and was startled to find that there were exactly 5 colors: red, blue, green, turquoise, and yellow. "What do you think this bugger's supposed to be?" the girl asked Karite as she scratched her brain. Those colors often went together, but in what?

There wasn't much she could do but stare at the jumble in front of her. Although she quickly picked out the five colors, Orika found that trying to categorize each piece into just one color was impossible. Each tiny shuriken contained at least two different hues, with some that probably had all five. The girl picked up a particularly mind boggling combination of lines and colors, examining the mess as if that would clue her into the overall appearance of the jigsaw puzzle. Blue blended into red like a stream of blood into a spring. Was this a painting of a battlefield? No, certainly not. What kind of war zone had traces of green and olive interspersed in between the red. One would think that blood would clump together... unless the artist was trying to depict a splatter! Eh, but now she had to explain why there was a random river, if there was even a water source in the landscape.

Globs of colors meant a mixture and a mixture so obviously meant... uh... crap. Orika suddenly remembered the pudding her mother had made this morning even though she had been too much in a hurry to get back to the weapons shop to even sample the concoction. Maybe the puzzle was of food, like a bowl of fruit or something. That would explain the three dimensional curvy shape. And maybe the produce consisted of tiny berries of all different shapes and sizes, some even mashed together from their combined weight. The thought made Orika's stomach grumble. She giggled and tried fitting together a purple glob she hoped was a grape, but the pieces refused to lock into place. She tried combining a few more grapes together, then went onto raspberries, lemons, and peas, still without success. They couldn't make a puzzle this tough, right? Orika pushed her chair back, hoping the squeak it made when the bamboo rubbed against the floor didn't disturb anybody. There had to be something she was missing.
