Elekid burst out of his Pokeball after hearing Kilik yell out in anguish. The small plug landed on the floor next to his trainer and looked up at the boy. Why was he crying? He looked over at the battle going on, seeing his buddy Scizor falling to the ground. Elekid's eyes widened and tears began to form. He could see chunks of her armor falling to the ground and slammed his eyes shut when he heard her crash to the floor. Tears began to stream down his face. "Ele! ELEEE!!"
The baby's presence had been unknown to Kilik until the plug yelled out. "Elekid, no!" he barked as the small Pokemon started to run out to fight and avenge Scizor. Kilik recalled the insect and snatched up Ludicolo's ball, sending the pineapple out in Scizor's place. "These Pokemon are much too strong for you to handle, okay?" he crouched down and picked up the Elekid, placing him on his shoulder. "Let the big boys handle this." The plug was still huffing, drying his tears.
"Ludicolo, let's ditch the styles and go straight for the throat!" he commanded, "Attack Starmie with your Giga Drain!" Ludicolo sent out a stream of green colored bubbles aimed directly at Starmie. Should they hit, the bubbles would fill with light and return to the Pokemon and heal him if any damage would be taken.

"Oh no you don't!" Shelly realized she was in a tight spot. Her last Pokemon up against two Pokemon strong against her Starmie. She was about to yell out an attack but couldn't find the attack to issue in her head. "Starmie, uh..." The woman stammered, gritting her teeth at the way the battle had turned out. She watched as her Pokemon was helplessly assaulted by the heavy hitting Giga Drain and drained of a vast amount of energy. Her eyes focused on the fatigued Ampharos. "Starmie!" She yelled, pointing at Beacon. Her blood red nails reflected the light of the room almost scarily. "Bubblebeam that Pokemon there, take it out!"
The Star Shape Pokemon's back 'legs' spun rapidly, and the beautiful jewel on its core began to glow. Just as before, it launched a volley of bubbles at the Ampharos.
"Beacon, dodge it!" Mike shouted, but he knew well enough that there was no way that Beacon, of all Pokemon, would be able to dodge a precise shot like that. He could only watch the inevitable.

Kilik shook his head. "With the excess health Ludicolo received..." he laughed, punching the air, "This won't hurt him a bit! Ludicolo, I want you to jump in front of that Bubblebeam and take the attack for Beacon!" This was it: they were going to win! If Ludicolo managed to block the attack, that would leave her Starmie wide open for a Thunderbolt from Beacon.
The pineapple nodded and spun over to his battle partner. The bubbles went straight into his chest, but he barely felt a thing. Ludicolo scratched his cheek and went right about dancing happily. If anything, the Bubblebeam was a light tickle.
Elekid was still shaking slightly, but managed to get over it. The plug looked over at Ludicolo and sighed with relief. At least someone was going to protect Scizor's honor. Kilik clenched his fist and looked at Mike with a smirk. This would make the four KnockOuts all on Mike's behalf and only using Beacon, just as Kilik had done before with Lairon. "Take her out, Mike. I'd like to get a bite to eat before nightfall."

Flannery's eye twitched at the sight of the Golduck, and she glared at Keegan in an annoyed fashion. "Traitor!" she yelled, shaking her fists at him. Keegan was probably the last person she ever thought who would capture a Water-type. The Water Pulse scored a direct hit on her Camerupt's forehead, and the large Pokemon bellowed out in pain, stomping around in an attempt to shake it off.
"Okay Camerupt," Flannery called, (feeling a little down as she was not at a severe disadvantage), use your Take Down!"
Camerupt bellowed and charged forward, its tremendous steps causing the gym to shake as though another Earthquake had been launched.
"Althena shouldn't have a problem now," Kasiya mumbled, feeling a bit better now that the Golduck was on the scene. Levi had scooted back and was leaning against the wall, both impressed and intimidated by the powerful Pokemons' various attacks. She could only hope that she too would be that powerful someday.

"Thanks Kilik!" He could just kiss him for pulling that off. ((Down girls! D<)) With newfound confidence, Mike ordered a final attack, one that would end this battle in their favor. "Beacon, one last Thunderbolt and then it's over!" The boy crossed his arms and smirked at the Aqua admin's expression of fear as the Ampharos loosed a blast of electricity at the Starmie. The resulting surge of energy KO'd the starfish, and thus ended the battle between Kilik, Mike and Shelly.
"This can't be!" The ruby haired woman recalled her Pokemon, unable to believe the outcome of the battle. "Beaten by...kids?!" Shelly stepped back, looking frantically at both kids, and then at Sasha, who had just been untied by her newly evolved Cacturne.
Ms. Jennings cracked her knuckles, wiping off the remnants of blood from her mouth. "You're going to pay for that." Her fist clenched so tight it was near unhealthy the amount that her veins were popping out. With a shriek equal in fright factor to only the most terrifying Ghost Pokemon, Sasha charged forward, slashing and slapping the Aqua admin as she tried to get away. "Take this and that and this!" The pink haired girl screamed as she clawed and kicked away at her recent captor, moving her towards the stairs where Mike, Kilik and Prickles had entered from. Shelly looked back, knowing full well what was going to happen to her. She merely glared daggers at the girl as Sasha raised her boot. "See you in hell, b***h!" With one swift motion, the girl sent the Aqua admin tumbling downward, her smile growing with each stair traveled.
Mike recalled Beacon, and stared at the catfight with a big grin on his face. He wished he had popcorn. "I think I'm in love." He said coyly, elbowing Kilik in the arm suggestively.

Keegan could only chuckle as his deduction was correct. "Hey, don't diss Althena," he said, waggling a finger at Flannery. "She's a pretty tough Pokemon, so you'd best not anger her." The Golduck eyed the charging Pokemon carefully, fully prepared to dodge its attack. However, her attempt to evade proved to be futile as the Camerupt, apparently more experienced in the ways of battle than she initially thought, moved with her, landed a solid blow to the Golduck's shoulder and sent her reeling. She landed hard on the ground, and scrambled to get back up before she could be attacked again.
"Okay Althena, use Psychic!" Keegan commanded. "Keep that Camerupt away from you!"
The Golduck clapped her hands together as a bluish aura began to form over her entire body, and she used the power of her mind to project it forward towards the Camerupt.

Kilik gave Mike a thumbs up after the battle had ended and merely watched as Sasha took Shelly down by herself. The boy laughed when Mike nudged him then scratched the back of his head, looking over at Elekid. "Alright, I'm getting tired of this place," he said, "I think I've had enough of playing super hero for one day." Kilik felt a vibration in his pocket and pulled out the Nav. "A message?" It was from Robin. His eyes scanned the message and he sent a quick reply:
Congratulations! See you at the party. -KilikR.
Tucking the device back into his pocket, Kilik looked at Sasha. "Must've been quite an experience, huh?" he laughed, walking over, "Being kidnapped, beaten mercilessly, saved by TWO knights in shining armor, and exacting your revenge all in the span of a few days." He glanced at the sole teleporter in the room and walked towards it. "I'd suppose this is the quickest way to exit. Let's go." He recalled Elekid, to ensure the Pokemon didn't receive any sort of 'Tele-Lag' and stood in front of the square, waiting for his partner and the rescued girl.

"Yes, it was a truly wonderful experience." Sasha's voice was so thick with sarcasm you could almost smell it in the air. "I'll have to sign up for the trip next year too." The girl wiped off fer bandanna, which was covered in her own spit. "Gross."
Mike let out a huge sigh of relief. "Man! That was intense!" Unlike Kilik, the Magma boy could do this sort of thing every day. The reward of saving someone's life was just too much of a joy to view it as a chore. "By the way Sasha, why did they even kidnap you anyway? You beat up some of their Grunts and they nabbed you for revenge?" It was a question that bugged him since they began the operation. There was really no motive for the whole incident.
"If I knew, I'd be telling you." The pink haired girl shrugged. "Honestly, it would have made it a little more boring though, half the time I was here I was wondering why they snatched me in the first place. Maybe they just really suck at pick up lines?" She chuckled, obviously trying to make light of the recent traumatic ordeal.
"Must be it." Mike joined in with the laughter. He was glad she was alright.
"Listen...Mike, Kilik...." Sasha began to say something but stopped. Her face turned a light shade of red as the girl slowly looked up at the two boys. Tears were trying their hardest to push there way out. "You two coming here, without any reason just to save me..." She sniffed, the tears were winning. "I just, ahhh!" The girl practically threw her self at the two boys, grabbing each of them and yanking Mike and Kilik into a strong hug. She began to sob loudly, occasionally able to choke out a 'thank you' or an 'oh my god'.
Mike looked to Kilik, and gave the boy a warmhearted smile. A tear of his own almost came out. "You tell me, is this not what life is all about?" He squeezed the two tightly. "Let's get out of here Sasha, alright? I bet you could use some fresh air." Mike walked over to the teleporter. He was certain this was the one that would take them to the last room before returning outside. Stepping onto the pad, the boy, girl and Pokemon disappeared in a flash of light.

Kilik followed, stumbling for a moment once he reappeared on the other side. Running a hand through his black hair, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The smell of the salt coming from the large pool in the room was refreshing. Almost like a welcome to the outside, even though they were still a pad away. He looked over at Sasha and then Mike, smiling warmly. "It's gonna feel so good to get outside."
"That..." replied a gruff voice, "or it's going to be a nightmare inside." There was a loud hissing noise as a submarine emerged from the water and a man pulled himself from the top. His neatly shined shoes didn't match with his rugged pants or scruffy beard. The belt that kept his pants up had the Aqua insignia for a buckle, which strongly reminded Kilik of the belt buckle he wore as a Rocket, and his chest was visible due to his lack of buttons near his collar. A necklace made out of Sharpedo teeth adorned his neck, and like all Aqua members, the man wore a blue bandana with the Aqua logo. "You two boys have been quite a nuisance to me. Can't we get away with an honest kidnapping once in a while?" the man said, jumping from the top of the sub and landing on the tile a few feet in front of the teens.
Kilik clenched his fist. The way he was talking, and the way he was dressed, was an instant alarm that this was Archie, the leader himself. The pattern of heroism continued: Admins followed by the leader. He cursed quietly to himself and felt that he maybe jinxed the affair by even thinking it. "Fine," he said loudly, "If the only way to get out is to beat you, we'll have no trouble at all!" the boy punched his fist into his palm.
Archie laughed heartily and began to stroke his beard. "I never thought that a Magma would have to guts to attack my organization head-on..." he glared at Mike and then began to play with one of the teeth on his necklace, "It's that Magma idiocy that will drop that organization quickly!" he grabbed two spheres from his belt and tossed them up. "But if it's a fight you two want, then you'll get it! Hahaha!!"
The Pokeballs unleashed a large Sharpedo, with teeth sharp enough to puncture into Donphan hide and a rabid-looking Mightyena. The canine howled and planted his paws firmly on the ground.
Kilik looked over at Mike once more and nodded firmly. "Bahamut, let's show 'em!" he called, tossing the Poke ball. The Flygon emerged from the ball, trilling happily. Her eyes locked onto her opponents and she stood on the floor instead of floating above it like she usually did. Her tail swished wildly and excitedly.

Mike could feel his heart drop as he heard that familiar deep voice rise up from the sea. "Archie." The boss of Team Aqua himself had presented himself to them. This is bad. The boy thought. He only had three Pokemon left with enough endurance to battle, and two of them were Fire Pokemon! He once again kicked himself for his lack of proper planning. No matter! Despite the type disadvantages, he could count the number of times Nitro had lost on one hand. He'd just have to play it smart. "Stay back Sasha, we'll take care of this." He reached for his Charizard's Poke ball. "Consider this one on the house too."
Sasha stepped a few feet behind the two boys. She was in no condition to battle, and clashing head on with a man this frightening was not on her to do list either. "Be careful Mike, Kilik!" Prickles stood in front of his trainer, ready to step in should he be needed.
Mike tossed up his Pokeball, releasing his most powerful Pokemon: Nitro. The Charizard hit the ground with a crash and roared loudly at the opposition. He looked around, spotting Kilik and Bahamut. The Fire Pokemon nodded in salutation, then returned his focus to the battle ahead of him. "Okay Nitro, I need you to be careful in this battle! We're at a huge disadvantage here and this isn't some random sparring match. This is the real deal!" Mike was there when Nitro was born, there was not a day that went by when the two had been apart since that day two years ago. There was no person, Pokemon or otherwise he trusted more. "I'm not with Team Magma anymore Archie. I realized that Maxie is just as power hungry and foolhardy as you! I only wore this to help infiltrate your base." He couldn't wait to get out of the outfit too, it was a little too hot for a summer day with humid.
"Alright Kilik, let's bring this party to an end! Don't be stupid!" The Lavaridge boy pointed dramatically towards the two opposing Pokemon. "Nitro, use your Sunny Day. Make this place hot!"
The Charizard let out a loud bellow, agreeing that a spike in temperature would be nice. Nitro opened his wings, his body giving off tremendous heat. The sunlight that was once just peeking through the glass roof began to pour through with intensity. The sunlight reflected off the tile floor, making the entire room light up. Heat waves began to slowly ripple up from the floor. This was Nitro's battlefield now.

Kilik somewhat glared at his partner. Had he done anything stupid thus far? When the heat kicked up in the room, the boy unbuttoned the top button of his shirt then went to commanding his Flygon. "Attack that Sharpedo, Bahamut! Use Dragon Claw!" If I can distract the Water-type, then maybe that could buy Mike more time. The dragon lifted herself a few feet off the floor before rushing at the shark with an extended claw, which was glowing with a red light. Blue streaks shimmered behind her hand as well, and she shut her eyes tightly as she made contact.
"Mightyena!" Archie commanded, "Attack that Charizard with Toxic!" he snapped his fingers and began to laugh, "Let's see that lizard of yours outperform me if he's succumbing to Poison! As for that pesky Flygon..." he crossed his arms over his chest and shot a glance at his Sharpedo, who had been knocked flat onto the ground. A large cut was visible on his forehead, though the leader was unsure on whether or not it had been there before.
"Sharpedo, use your Hydro Pump on the green one!" he barked, "Aim carefully!" The shark hopped up and unleashed a massive stream of water from his mouth. Meanwhile, the Dark-type Mightyena was running towards Nitro with his mouth wide open. The dog's sharpest teeth, the canines, were oozing purple fluid as he went for the neck.
Kilik planted his feet firmly on the floor as he watched the Mightyena jump through the air and it took him a moment to snap back to see his Flygon take the Hydro Pump like a true champion. It didn't hurt her too much: thanks to that lovely Charizard's Sunny Day, the damage had been lowered by a significant margin, and her typing helped too. Kilik, on the other hand, didn't approve of any damage whatsoever. Was it wrong if he didn't want to battle anymore?

A shiver ran up the boy's spine at the sight of those poison tipped fangs connect with Nitro's neck. That's a little rough isn't it? He was not going to enjoy watching his Pokemon slowly lose all his health to a creeping toxin, either. He would just have to crash on through with pure brute force! "I no not like Poison Archie, it's one of my least favorite things." Mike replied, shaking his head. "However, I'm sure your Mighteyena won't enjoy this. Nitro, Flamethrower!"
His Fire attacks amplified by the extreme sunlight and powered even more by the Charcoal in his hands, the Charizard took in a deep breath of the clean ocean air. A loud rumble could be heard from his stomach as the Pokemon prepared for his attack.. The fire sac in his body filled with flames, and his flaming tail began to flare up immensely. Nitro leaned his head back, thrusting forward and exhaling a large stream of fire from his mouth. The attack traveled towards the Dark Pokemon with due speed. The tiles underneath the fiery attack became black and charred. The Charizard roared defiantly, then winched as the poison began to take its toll
Mike laughed at the intensity of the attack. "Ha! Take that!" He cheered. All the training he spent with him was certainly worth it.

Archie held up his arms to shield himself from the intense heat and even winced when Mightyena yelped loudly in pain. So his Toxic strategy didn't manage to work. He snapped his fingers then crossed his arms again. "I think it's time to put a damper on your strategy..." he sneered a toothy sneer, "if you get my drift! Mightyena, use Rain Dance!"
The canine landed with a loud crash on the tile, but managed to stand back up. Another attack like that would seriously put him out of commission. The dog howled loudly into the air and spun on his front paws, summoning a rain cloud from the pool behind him. The clouds blocked out the sun and rain began to crash upon the battlefield. "Now, Sharpedo! Use Hydro Pump on Charizard!"The shark opened his mouth with somewhat of a laugh and unleashed another stream of water.
At least he's using some form of a strategy... Kilik thought, Unlike Shelly. Clearing his mind, Kilik swiped the air, sending flicks of rain off of his shirt. "I'd love to take a hit for you, Mike, but I don't think I can afford it right now. Flygon, attack Mightyena with Giga Drain! Replenish what Sharpedo hit you with!" She opened her mouth and unleashed a horde of clear green bubbles, like Ludicolo had in the previous battle. They crashed against the canine and returned a small amount of health to her. She smiled and lifted her head up high. However, the rain wasn't very good to her skin. Kilik shook his head, although it did no good to dry it. Could I go a few hours without getting soaked?

"Little Guy!" Ky called out as the vortex of sand consumed both of the Pokemon. About to order his next command, Ky's voice died as he heard an ear-piercing screech suddenly echo over the roar of the Sandstorm. To Ky's horror, he watched as small green feathers flew out from the mini-tornado. Ky's arms began to shake as he fought back his panic. Almost everything in Ky's head cried to have Little Guy retreat and Teleport back to safety, but Ky knew better. Up until now, Little Guy hadn't even received a scratch, which is why Ky ordered the risky maneuver in the first place. Ky had an idea for a possible finishing move, but it would be pointless to attempt with the Larvitar at its current health. He needed to sap the Larvitar's strength, now. "Little Guy! Hold on!" Ky called out. "Use Night Shade!" Unable to see into the vortex himself, Ky could only hope Little Guy hadn't lost his grip.
Still holding on to the Larvitar's horn, Little Guy found himself being cut and scraped more and more often as they fell deeper into the vortex. Closing his eyes, he could barely make out Ky's voice over the howling of the winds, but it was enough. Focusing his mind away from the pain, he quickly formed a black cloak of energy around his body. Then, opening his eyes slightly, he shot it straight into his rocky host.

While Mike's expertise on Pokemon would be without a doubt centered on Fire Pokemon, he was aware of a wide variety of Water moves. After all, you gotta know the opposition if you plan on using a type of Pokemon effectively. He was also aware that Hydro Pump is a very inaccurate move. "Nitro, dodge the attack! Don't worry about countering it just evade!" Mike commanded. He wanted Nitro to last just a little bit longer. Even if his role in the battle would be to stall so Kilik could do the majority of the damage, he was going to last as long as possible.
The rain caused small trails of steam each time it hit the Charizard's skin. Needless to say he was not enjoying the weather. Nitro saw the massive surge of water heading straight for him and hopped into the air. With a stroke of his powerful wings the Fire Pokemon managed to avoid direct contact with the attack. However, his opponent was smart, and tilted the stream so it hit his wing, sending Nitro crashing to the ground. It was better than taking the hit head on, but landing like that would hurt anyone. The Flame Pokemon stood up, his tail flame burning rather weakly.
Mike cursed aloud. What a waste of a turn.
