Usrah had heard all that was said. Luniya's howling caused him to raise an eyebrow of confusion.
"Well, first off, my main mission is to destroy the one House Iroziel released over 9000 years ago. Obviously, he is quite elusive."
He looked down at Flint.
"I do kill zombies, vampires, and necromancers when I come across them, which is not as often as one might think."
He looked back at Luniya.
"There is a problem with loving another race. I have the potential of living forever; they do not. That may be the lifestyle more suited for my brother, who is far more relaxed than myself, but that is another story."
Usrah actually smiled, and chuckled, at the thought of his "brother".

Luniya hadn't realized she howling, but when she did she covered her mouth in embarassment. "Sorry guys, I can get carried away sometimes," she said starting to turn red. "Well, Usrah having one love every century is better than having no love forever. That's a lonely life to live, especially forever." She smiled at him, noticing that he actually chuckled. She was happy he laughed, it was about time he loosened up.
She was getting thirsty. Luckily, she had the element of water and could create it at will. She summoned some water in the shape of glass and began to drink the water. "Ahh, now that was refreshing."

Usrah stopped laughing and shrugged his shoulders.
"Well, I believe that there is one person for everyone. I just happened to find my one and only much earlier. My 'brother' is probably still looking. Of course, being able to live forever gives him plenty of time. Come to think of it, I wonder if he is even alive."

Sorrow started to slow her pace. Lin had not responded to her but she was too interested in Usrah, Luni, and Flint’s conversation. She tagged along behind the three and tried to eavesdrop as much as she could. She pressed back behind them, walking slightly slower than them as to keep her head in the conversation.
I feel bad for Usrah, I didn’t realize he has been suffering all this time. I guess that would explain why he doesn’t seem to like me. He’s still thinking about the one he lost. I guess if I had met someone and lost them like him, I would feel the same way.
She slowly faded away into a day dream and ended up bumping into a tree. She made a large thud as she hit the oak tree. She fell backwards and sat up abruptly. She rubbed her head and looked around hoping no one else would realize she was so clumsy.
Contri slowed his pace too walking slowly behind Lin. He started to whistle an old Elvin tune, one that very few would recognize. He did not know where the Elf was taking him. However he didn’t really care. He was more concentrating on his strategy for the contest.
“Ah so you can speak Elvin. Yet your blood still boils like a human.” He spoke in Elvin to Tyr. “While your friend is quite fluent, it doesn’t give her any advantages to be in that form. Either way this should prove to be quite interesting to say the least.”
The old battle ground I suggested is out of the picture. But I think I know where the Elf girl is taking us. And I have a few men waiting for us there as well.

Flint looked up at the sound of the howl. "That was cool." he said simply, looking at Luniya. It was probably one of the most interesting things he ever heard someone do, and it sounded really nice. He looked back at the large twig, finishing up on removing the bark. Flint heard a loud thud, only moving his eyes to see what happened, and then smiled, trying to keep in his laugh. "Great work, genius" he joked. Flint then looked back down to his work, intent on finishing it. "I don't know why, but all this sitting is making me antsy. Probably stems from my profession, but all I know is I want to get going soon."

Tyr felt her cheeks turn red again in another spark of anger. What is it about people I get bad feelings about that makes their every word make me angry? She asked herself, though Ferghall was most likely to hear the question and make some kind of a snide comment. I don't know, maybe it's the fact you get a bad feeling from them? The fox asked her, confirming her suspicions.
The thief took a deep breath to calm herself, and once that bit of anger settled down she was able to answer calmly. "Actually, I don't even know these people," She told Contri in Elven. "I joined up with them just before they ran into you..." She paused for a moment, and took another deep breath to get the courage worked up to say what she had wanted to say when she was mad. "And actually, it's just you who pisses me off." Tyr said quickly, and then she automatically flinched slightly as if waiting to get hit for mouthing off.

((Note to DemonDays2: We have been walking for awhile.))
Ashe scowled at Contri's comment to Tyr. "I only hold this form since its easier to work magic in than that of a human," she mumbled to herself. She then looked around her and sniffed the air. The wind carried a sent of more men nearby, most carrying the sent similar to Contri. She sent a message on the wind to Usrah, "More of those that smell similar to the male elf are near. Seems we are walking towards them. You can do as you please with them. Contri seems to be the leader of the group."

Luniya raised an eyebrow at Flint. "Thanks handsome," she said kindly. She sensed Sorrow had been listening to their little conversation. It's not like it really mattered though, so Luniya didn't speak of he rudeness. Besides she ran into a tree. Sorrow has really been getting clumsy lately. Without turning her head or cease walking, she asked, "You okay, Sorrow. You know you should pay more attention to where you're walking," Luniya told her with a smirk on her face. She wasn't trying to be mean, but maybe if Sorrow wasn't listening in on their conversation she wouldn't have ran into a tree.

Seeing that no one showed any particular interest in the fact that he had a "brother", Usrah silently reflected on his many adventures with Elgarez. He remembered the first time that they had met and the technique he had taught him. Elgarez called it "Kiss of the Stars", an attack that utilized the fists, but was modified for Usrah to be used with a sword. Although not as powerful as the original, Usrah's version was still plenty useful. On top of that, Usrah also had to activate his Celerity to even execute the technique.

“I’m alright.”
Sorrow stood and dusted herself off. She was more worried about her new dress than actually hurting herself. It would be more of pain to get a new one or repair it then it would to simply heal herself. She looked around and started to run a little bit to catch up with the others. She looked up ahead and noticed there were two paths. And neither was clearly marked.
“Um which way do we go?”
---
“I guess I should be proud then.” Contri spoke in Elvin. “I guess I should be happy to be traveling with others who speak my native language.”
Contri shrugged off Tyr and continued walking until they slowly approached the path that split two ways. He stopped and waited for Lin to lead them to the path that took them to where they were going. He didn’t really care which way they went. It would be a trap either way. All he had to do for now was to wait.
[What happend to Aisu? We kinda need her to guide us as to where to go for this roleplay.]

The sick feeling in Tyr's stomach just wouldn't stop escalating. She wanted to tell everyone how she felt, she wanted to warn them, but she couldn't bring herself to say anything. I don't trust him at all... He's having really devious thoughts right now, I can feel them, and something up ahead feels dangerous... The half-elf thief thought to herself, stopping a few feet before the splitting of the path.
Ferghall finally jumped off of her shoulder, and he took a few steps forward and raised his nose to the wind. It doesn't just feel strange, Tyr; can't you smell them up ahead? He asked her, turning to look at her, tilting his head and cocking a furry ear to catch some distant noise. Tyr nodded in response to the gray fox, only smelling the elves up ahead because of him.
She hoped that she was "invisible" enough to the others that they wouldn't notice her. Alright, Ferghall, you stay with the group, I don't want you hurt. I'll be right back, promise. Tyr thought to her little fox friend, and then she used her speed ability to dash ahead silently and almost invisably at the speed she was moving. She already knew something bad was going to happen, she was never wrong, and those premonitions were always unavoidable; so she might as well barrel head first into the danger and get it over with.
Ferghall, left behind, sat down and slicked his ears back, tail puffing up. She must be upset, Tyr's never this reckless... He thought to himself as he sat there like a little lost puppy.

((Sorry, guys, I failed to mention that I had to study for and write two exams this past week, and that left me little time to post. Once again, sorry, and I'm using an idea that someone *can't remember who* pm'ed me about))
Rok stayed a few feet behind the bulk of the group, humming a song that his mother had sang to him when he was a young calf. Something was nagging at the back of his mind, but he shrugged it off until they came to the split path. Suddenly, his head bolted up from looking at the ground and he walked briskly over to Contri.
~That ring... I don't like the look of it,~ he thought to himself, bringing himself up to his full height. Towering over the male elf, he snapped in the common tongue,
"Give that ring to me! Now!" he snarled, glaring down at Contri with a nasty contorted look on his face. He wasn't about to let anyone, not even someone he didn't know exactly, touch that ring before he was sure that there were no special spells placed on it. Holding out his hand towards Contri, he gave the elf a look that read 'give it to me before I rip you limb from limb'. His left hand was resting on his battleaxe which was resting on his back.
Rok didn't normally get like this. He was simply very jumpy, and also didn't trust Contri.

Luniya stopped at the split as the others did. She put her nose in the air. Both paths seemed to smell or lead the same way. She smelled Tyr's scent pass by as well. Wonder where she is going. She could have asked someone to go with her in case there was danger ahead.
Luniya jumped at the vigor of rok's voice. He had been quiet until now. Luniya looked at the ring and wondered what could have spooked Rok so much. Rok was really scary when he was angry. "I'd hate to have to go against him," she whispered. She took a deep breath and calmed herself. "Looks like a good spot to eat, I suppose." She took out some nuts and berries from a pouch. It wasn't much but they left the horses back at the cart incident. She also took out a couple strips of meat. She hoped no one else asked for some because she was pretty hungry now. She sat on the ground in between the two paths. She started knawing on a piece of meat, hoping nobody was watching her.

Usrah was able to hear the sound of eating thanks to his heightened senses and he took a seat next to Luniya. He did not mind that she was eating and knew that even asking for food from a werewolf was doomed to fail. He decided to make small talk.
"Did I mention that my 'brother' is a werewolf?"
He hoped to get some sort of reaction out of her. He enjoyed talking about his "brother", mostly because of how great he thought he was.
"He is not really my brother, but we have been friends long enough, so we consider ourselves such. He really is something else, though. He is a monk from some far off nation. I met him over 9500 years ago. We were on a mission to eliminate a vampire threat a few towns over. Little did we know that the entire mission was a trap. The town was compeltely overrun with vampires. As luck would have it, my 'brother' Elgarez had been passing by and happily aided our team."
He paused for a moment, rembering the event almost perfectly.
"Never before had I seen such speed and power. The vampires were simply no match for him at all and they were quickly disposed of. He explained to me that he had achieved 'Enlightenment' some time ago and that he was traveling the lands with his newfound powers, trying to help anyone he could."
Usrah paused once more.
"The last time I saw him was the day after the battle in which Eva was slain. He was just about to entire a portal into another dimension that was plagued with evil, when he turned to me and said, 'Thanks for all you've shown me.' And that was the last I ever saw of him."
