She hesitated and glanced toward Riku or Sora for help. "I guess we keep a low profile on the train until the King comes back." She still didn't sound sure of herself. This worried her. Was she losing the courage she had gained through traveling all this time? Or was there something about this world that made her worry more?

Mika leaned against a wall, closing her eyes and wondering why she let anyone get close to her. She'd had a fairly melencholy exhistance growing up with a nonexistant mother and father. Nothing bad, nothing fantastic, all mediocre and simple, easily fixed by firing someone or buying something new, goddess above she hated interacting with people sometimes.
She rally was lost without someone to tell her what to do. Her emotions were showing and she was losing her temper and smiling...Mika had not been raised to act like that. But she wouldn't have met Akiko if she hadn't gone out into the world, or Kiante...she could have done without Zolx though.
Shaking her head she turned back and went to let everyone know they'd gone the wrong way.

Sora caught the look and came to the rescue. "That sounds like a good idea, Kairi. You should look after everyone. I'll..." He paused, aware that he was probably getting ready to disobey orders again, if not the actual order, then certainly the spirit of it. The King would want him to stay with the others. "Check out compartments," he finished firmly, with a reassuring smile, then turned sped off after the King without waiting for a response. He'd never really put much emphasis on following orders so far; now probably wasn't the best time to start.

Riku glowered after Sora. Of all the stupid, impulsive... He pulled himself together. After all, it wasn't as though that was particularly out of character for Sora; detrimental as it was likely to be, they would be served best by concentrating on their own situation. If there was a part of him that wanted to follow his friend, he blocked it out.
"Alright," he said, his quiet voice filled with the confidence of someone who is used to being obeyed without ever having to shout, "While Sora is.... looking for compartments.... we'd best find somewhere we won't be noticed or questioned. Perhaps the baggage car." He moved past Kiante and gently but firmly pulled Aikiko to her feet. "Cry later," he said shortly.

Mika pursed her lips when they were beyond 'catch up' range. Thus, she pulled out her trusty phone and called Akiko, waiting for the younger girl to pick up. Why did everyone assume that rich snobs wanted to go anywhere near everyone else when their money could practically buy them their own station?

He watched as both Kiante and Riku found Akiko. he wasn't sure about Rikku, but with Kiante there she should be fine. He heard the faint sound of a flap and looked up. Kya high above was flying away from the group. From what he could tell most everyone else was grouping together. He launched into the air and gradually made it up to Kya altitude. "We should head back soon. Seems we're on the move." He looked in the direction they were heading, "Where are you off to anyway?"

"He's right Akiko." Kiante said. He put his arm around her shoulder and started following Riku, half dragging Akiko along.

Akiko glared at Riku, hiccuping a little. She definitely didn't like him nearly as much in real life.
"Maybe I--how dare you--of all the--" she sputtered, voice cracking, anger washing completely over her.
She immediately clapped her hand over her mouth, ashamed of the things she wanted to say. Stop overreacting!! Why of all times do you have to be such a drama queen??
Ugh, it didn't make any sense! Out of the blue she just...breaks down...like an idiot...
Luckily a ring on her phone distracted her. Mika?
She picked up the phone and looked for her friend. Oh, gosh, she'd gone the total wrong way.
"I'm sorry, Mika, we're coming..." she muttered miserably, then switched directions to meet up.
~~~
King Mickey saw Zolx head after Kya...and heard someone following close behind him. He shook his head, exasperated. Of course...he should've known.
"Well, come on, then," he said to Sora, with a little more irritation than he meant.
Just a little stroll and it all turns into chaos...he knew there was something more than hormones going on here...
As he pulled up nearby Zolx and Kya, at the foot of the building, and yelled up to them.
"Get back to the train right now! We don't need lookouts, we need to get out of here, ASAP!"
A swish of the trees, and the hairs on the back of the mouse's neck stood straight up.
A whisper...
Well, look who we have here...
"Get out of here!" the King yelled, and in the next second an invisible force overtook him.
Zolx Looked down just as the King seemed to be attack. He pointed his Key at teh King and made an upward motion. "Force," Nothing happened. "FORCE!" Still nothing. "FREEZE!" "STOP!" "HEAL!" Zolx tried every spell he knew, but not a single gesture or command cause so much as a whisper. It didn't make any sense. Zolx had never once had a problem with magic and he rarely ever use enough to run out of Mana. "Kya, the King!" He grabbed her wrist and drive bombed towards them. He didn't know what he'd do, but with out his magic all he had was a weapon he had never once used. If they couldn't see what they were fighting that made things worse. The only thing to do was- "Grab the King and fly to the train! I'll grab Sora!"
Mickey slung his keyblade out to stop Kya's flight towards him. "Stop!"
I know who attracted this demon...these Earthlings! The angel, the rich girl, the silly whiny girl, they all slowed us down and let him come! They're all just holding us back...and this guy here, with his arguments and snideness...we should never have brought them along!
He readied his keyblade to fight...but who first? The angel...or the kid who looked somewhat like an angel?
Finally, face contorted, he turned to catch Kya with the key-portion of his keyblade.
~~~
Kana chuckled to himself. Such a big and ragtag group he'd caught here... two princesses of heart, five little Earthling kids who had somehow survived the onslaught, a King and the leader of the fight against heartless, and two other keybladers. My, my, my, what a nice diversion.
And what's this? This angel...well, so that's what happened to her. I think it's time to finish this off once and for all, Kya.
With a laugh, he sent his essence through them all, first enveloping the King, then Sora, then Zolx...and continuing through the rest of them.
The King was easy. He'd been weakening him from the moment he'd found them all. And he wasn't used to this type of attack...
Neither was Sora. He fell easily.
Zolx was a bit of a challenge...there was some obstacle that was in his way...and Kya...Kya was untouchable. But the darkness that crawled all over her...that would help Kana out very much.
The others...well, Kairi was off limits for now. He'd deal with her later, that invincible heart of hers...in the meantime, Akiko hadn't been taking his preliminary onslaught very well at all...she crumpled easily. Riku, well, all he had to do was draw on his past mistakes, and Mika wasn't too hard either. Will...a mere child. Simple. Kiante...well, his heart...interesting. But still not too much of a problem.
Yes, yes, this was the biggest group he'd attacked ever since last night, when all the humans had gone...well...away.
He laughed again, worming his way into their hearts.

"Tell them to get the train started and I will get mickey and we will be right there." She said calmy diving after the King and landing gracefully before him. "Come on!" She yelled reaching out her arms.

Mika furrowed her brows at her friends miserable tone.
"Aki-chan, whats wrong?" Mika asked worriedly. "Are you hurt? Do you need to rest?" Mika could set up a few compartments on the train for the party to rest in.
Mika played with one of her blank cards as she paced back and forth in front of the train, missing the light sparks that came from the surface and the trickle of color that spread across the surface.

"No, no...I'm fine...just...I don't know what's wrong with me today..."
Suddenly Akiko's eyes teared up once again and she dropped her phone, where it landed on the ground with a thump.
She dropped to her knees, suddenly overcome with despair. It's not worth it...there's nothing in my future but continuing uncertainty and decisions, and fear, and...and...always second-guessing myself...insecurity...it's never gonna get better...why do I keep trying?
A song came into her head just then. "I don't care about anything, while making a face like 'whatever...'"
No! No songs...It doesn't help...besides, what comes after that... "I've always, always been praying. I want what I don't have. I can't be satisfied that easily."
"So I keep tryin..."
"This year everything seems like a real drag..."
"I want the reward only challengers recieve..."
Back and forth she went, until she was singing out loud, quietly, like some demented freak.
"I don't care about anything, even if I'm running a little late in the morning, I'm gonna try my best."

"Hey I see you!" She shouted at the demons. If I can see them that means Kairi can too... but we must be the only ones. "Release Mickey... Now!" She said drawing her rapier, as it glowed with a holy light.

"Aki-chan?" Mika asked, worried when she heard the clatter. "Akiko?" Mika was twirling her card about faster, a defined star spreading across the surface and putting out a sad little aura.
Still, Mika didn't see it, instead she could hear a battle and yelling coming from the other end of the phone.
"Selfish," she cursed herself, running a keycard through the door of the train to start it up. How could she be so very selfish? She was always selfish, that was probably why no one actually liked her.
The Star had had enough though and floated in front of her, glowing lightly as it took effect. The Star, or Hope, gave a little pulse, and she knew what to do. She grabbed the card and hiked her skirts up, running back to where everyone else was.
A little hope could go a long way.
