Perrian nodded and had a mental plan in his mind, but he wasn't exactly sure if it would work. He knew that the minotaur lord was the biggest threat and would be the toughest to take out, but if they didn't take out his servants first they would have three people attacking them instead of just one. Perrian summoned Luljeta and started contemplating his plan. On his staff, at the cost of 6 of his life, he charged a small ball of yellow magic that he was ready to shoot at one of the minotaurs to weaken their attack to 0 and in his left hand, the hand without the staff, was charging a ball of white energy. He shot the energies off to their targets and rushed up to the minotaur lord. Unfortunately, his attempts at pouncing on the leader of the group failed and he quick ran back to the lines of his party.

Seeing Perrian take the initiative, and nearly bouncing of the minotaur lord's steel-like chest, Vincent charges in himself. Ripping into one of the minions while Demetry attacked the other in a flurry of claws, teeth, and scales.

Fury moves to assist in the destruction of the lesser Minotaurs, not quite ready to mess with the big guy. Calling on his Spirit Bracer to aid in his defense, Fury sends the Spiritual Fist to pummel the first of the lesser creatures. The Death Eyes curse flares in response as well, causing severe pain to Fury, and to the first Minotaur as well. Fury gathers his wits and fires off his Frost spell at the second Minotaur, hoping to assist in it's death as well. As a final act, he tries to pounce one of the Minotaurs, but the beast proves to burly and shakes the attack off.

Not knowing if this would be a long, or a short battle, but seeing that their enemies were tought, Lazarus sighed, knowing that his action was going to put him in hot water. He poured some of the mystical energies he contained into the metal medallion he wore on his chest, adding another charge to the Heart of the Crypt. He contemplated tapping the button on the gauntlet covering his left hand, making sure that he would, if any of the enemies turned to face him. He began to twist his hands and fingers into the symbols for his spell. He felt the flow of the Æther enter his body, forming the spell, before he released the ball of super-heated energy at the Minotaur lord. He then prayed to any god that would hear him out, and shifted his body to a defensive pusition.

The Minotaur team bellows and charges forward, eyes glowing with madness. The Minotaur Lord, also a capable tactician, recognizes the threat imposed by Lazarus and clips the Mage quickly with a horn, disrupting the coming spell. Continuing toward his chosen victim, the Arena Master slams his axe into Demetry, taking him out of the fight. M1 moves to Djanni striking hard, but is astounded to see that the blow lacks it's normal strength, failing completely against the powerful woman. Shaken somewhat by the failure, M1 also fails to deliver his Stunning Blow to Vincent, allowing the powerful Warrrior to deliver a fatal Smash. M2 moves in a rush to Luljeta, a cruel smile on the bovine creature's muzzle. The axe falls, dealing 18 points of damage to the valiant dragon, hurting it severely. M2 then follows up with a Stunning Blow to Vincent as well, but the gods continue to shine on the warrior as the blow fails to land.
Perrian smiles knowingly, enjoying the expression on M1 as it's strength drains away. Vincent continues unimpeded to M1, dealing 6 Normal and 12 Special damage from his combined assault. Demetry manages to assist in the destruction of M2 before he falls, dealing 6 Normal and 5 Special. Fury directs his Special Attacks to M1 for 15 points, and finishes with the Frost spell to M2 for 8 Magic. Lazarus finds his spell interrupted by the Minotaur Lord, but manages to avoid any further attention this round. Finally, Djanni unleashes the might Shadow Scythe upon M2, cleaving it asunder.
The Death Eyes Curse takes it's toll on Fury. (-5 points)

Lazarus swears in outrage. He focuses his energy again, aiming another overblast at the lord, blood filling his eyes as his rage at being stalled in his damage over-takes him. He then leaps at the creature, adding whatever he can to deal additional damage to the beast.

((Ignore the dice. I just remembered that Demetry fell...stupid me! xp ))
Vincent, after his powerful attack on the second minotaur minion, watches in horror as Demetry is ripped asunder by the Minotaur Lord. Vincent screams in rage and denial as the sight activates the long-dormant powers within him. His eyes change from their normal purple to an intense red, while the tattered remnants of his traveling clothes disintegrate, leaving in its place a silvered, chainmail tunic over the (now bleach-white) leather armor that he had been wearing. All this occurs in the middle of a headlong charge, ending only as he leaps gracefully onto the Minotaur Lord's back, just moments after the dust and fire of Lazarus' spell dissipates. He then quickly grabs the beast by the horns to keep his balance, and after a moment of the Minotaur Lord's squirming Vincent manages to take his short sword and ram it painfully into the creature's neck before nimbly back-flipping off the creature. He lands with ease and pivots, ramming a second strike of the blade into the creature's lower back before almost casually stepping away and out of the creature's reach.

Perrian sighed as he saw Demetry fall, but he knew the best he could to help keep the group alive. Perrian knew that he'd take one damage from Angelic Pact this turn and braced himself for the sharp and quick pain he'd experience from not being able to heal an ally since only his summon, Luljeta, was being attacked. Perrian stood there and waited for the final attacks to be over on the Minotaur Lord as he watched to see what would happen to Luljeta.

*Djanni watches as Demetry falls, shock registering on her face. The Fire whips into a frenzy within her and she snarls. The Shadow Scythe crystallizes behind her as she leaps forward with beast-like fury. Her eyes glow red, then white hot as she connects with the Minotaur Lord, a twisting, furious tangle of limbs and flashing blades. The Shadow Scythe is not far behind.*
