Bronzepaw looked confused, but headed onward. "I will never run on the Thunderpath again." She paused, and questionoed Leopardpelt, "Can I still climb a tree even if I don't have a tail?"

Leopardpelt nodded. "Your balance will be off. Also you won't be losing your tail...It'll just be...flattened and odd looking. It'll take a few weeks to get use to the off balance. In no time though you'll be back up and balanced." Leopardpelt ducked into her den and started sorting through the herbs to find what would be necessary.

Bronzepaw looked up. "Will it stop hurting, Leopardpelt? It hurts a lot, and I can't feel my tail. All I feel is pain, and that's it." She tried to bat her tail, and winced. "Nothing. Only pain."

Icestar watched as Bronzepaw and Leopardpelt walked into her den. She followed and poked her head inside to drop off the herbs. She nodded to Leopardpelt and back out of the den. As she got closer to Spicepelt she nodded. "It's okay Spicepelt. I'm glad that you stayed with Bronzepaw instead of running after my careless apprentice." she mewed. "Speaking of Blizzardpaw, have you seen him anywhere? Scarhead and I could smell him in the woods, and we weren't sure if he came back here." Icestar looked around and sniffed the air for Blizzardpaw.

Spicepelt shrugged. "He ran off, and didn't come back is all I know." She hurriedly went into Leopardpelt's den. "Now, Icestar, if you really want to see a careless apprentice, you should look at this little she-cat." She lauhed.

"In time. I"ll give you some herbs to ease the pain." Leopardpelt nodded. "I'll need you to chew up this comfrey. That will aid in healing it. Then I'll need you to eat these Huckleberries and chew up this Goldenrod." WIth what she said Leopardpelt softly pushed the herbs to bronzepaw.

Bronzepaw wrinkled her nose, but bent down and ate the herbs anyway. She grimaced. They tasted worse than anything! Bronzepaw sighed. "Why in StarClan do they taste so bad!"

Though he had no idea how he had managed to escape Icestar's wrath in the forest, he was sure he hadn't escaped it for long.
If she isn't going to come after me, Icestar must be waiting back at camp. I might as well take my time going back and make sure to find a mouthfull of meat for the clan.
This was Blizzardpaw's mode of thought after Icestar and Scarhead had left him behind. So for the next hour or so he tried his best in hunting. After nabbing anouther two small mice to go along with his other kill, he headed back to camp. Hopefully this would ease his punishment.
Blizzardpaw nearly dropped his kills when he caught the familliar scent of Leopardpelt on the breeze as he entered camp. As quietly and quickly as he could he ran to the kill pile nearly tossing the meat on it then ran towards Leopardpelt's den. It was too little to late to turn around when he saw Icestar sitting nearby.

((alright, time to be evil, meanie Icestar =P))
Icestar felt no need to look up, she could smell Blizzardpaw the minute he walked into camp. "So nice you to join us, Blizzardpaw." she mewed, not taking her eyes off the medicine cats den. "Did you think hunting would take away your punishment?" this time, she got up and padded towards him. She glared down to him as he awaited Icestar's punishment. "I ordered that no cat set foot outside of the camp while Scarhead and I were gone. Just because you are my apprentice doesn't give you the right to disobey direct orders. I hate to say this Blizzardpaw, but I must put your training on hold. For your punishment, you will be responsible for changing everyones bedding. Also, if Leopardpelt needs anything, it will be your responsibility to get what she needs." she took in a breath. "And one more thing. You are not allowed to leave camp without my permission." Icestar knew these were a lot of jobs for him, but she knew it would make him a better, stronger cat. She gazed over Blizzardpaw to the fresh-kill pile. She mewed again, this time, a more softer tone. "Now go get something to eat, and get some rest." She glanced at him and nodded, then turned back towards the medicine cat den.

Scarhead padded over to Icestar. "Are you sure you wouldn't a little too tough on Blizzardpaw? I know he disobeyed your orders but having to change the bedding in camp, getting anything Leopardpelt needs, and not being able to leave the camp unless you say otherwise. I remember getting in trouble when I was your apprentice, but you weren't as tough on me." He said. He felt bad for Blizzardpaw, he had done something close to what Billzardpaw had done though his punishment wasn't as bad.

Icestar shook her head. "No. He got exactly what he deserved. After all these jobs he won't want to fool around like some kittypet. He's one of the older apprentices and he needs to prove himself. To be a role model for Bronzepaw, or even Autumnpaw. If he wants to be a warrior, he's going to have to shape up. Besides, when you got in trouble, there wasn't any emergency going on outside of camp. I just found you sneaking out at night when I told you to get some rest." she sat down and began to lick her paw, swiping it over her ear. "When did you last eat? You must be hungry. Care to join me?" she mewed as her stomach growled at her. "I haven't eaten since this morning!"

(I won't be one since I am really sick, I just threw up, big time.)
Scarhead's belly grumbled. "I haven't eaten since this morning since I was showing Bronzepaw around, then there was the accident so I haven't had time to eat." Scarhead said, nodding to Icestar to let her know that he wouldn't mind joining her.

Icestar stood up and padded towards the fresh-kill pile. She took a mouse for herself and relaxed in the clearing to enjoy it.

I may be small...
Leopardpelt chuckled softly. "If they tasted good them cats would always be eating them and the plants would lose there usefulness. Our systems would build up an immunity. Therefore they'd be of no help." She shook her head softly. "Now dear head on out eat a mouse and then get some rest. You'll be in camp the next few days. The more rest you get the sooner you'll be better." Her snow white paws with black specks kneaded the ground beneath them. Then she padded over to where Icestar had dropped the herbs. "Your going to want to walk slowly. If you walk to fast you'll lose your balance." She carefully gathered the Catmint and headed over to where she stored all of her herbs.
...but i pack one powerful punch.
