Chance smirked as he watched Dante, even as he also drank some tea. Oh, he was fairly certain Dante knew what he was talking about. His eyes slid along the table to one of the smaller menus leaning up against the wall. With one smooth motion he plucked it free and opened it up. "So... how good is the alcohol here?" he asked with a grin.

Dante's tail flicked as he followed th others gaze, then watched Chance as he looked at the menu. Smirking slightly he took another sip of tea before stating. "It's great ~" He put emphasis on the 'great'.

Chance glanced up at Dante and smirked. Ding! Ding! Ding! Alcohol was a winner. "Good, we'll order a bottle of your favorite next time the waiter comes by," he said mildly before putting the menu back in its place.

(( XD What kind of alcohol do Chinese restaurants have? >>;; XD Maybe they should have gone mexican then they could get the tequila ~ xP j/k))
Alcohol was always good. You could never go wrong with the stuff ~ Tail swishing lightly over the edge of his chair, he swished his tea lightly. "Sounds good to me ~" He murred a little as he gave a grin to Chance.

(( I have no clue. I've never ordered alcohol at a Chinese restaurant. Come to think of it, the only time I've been to one I drank tea only. ;>> They might have beer...? xD; I know you can usually get sake or beer at a Japanese food restaurant, but dunno about Chinese. x_x; ))
Chance returned Dante's grin. If alcohol was what it took to get him to lighten up, then that's what it would have to be. With an inward shrug he finished off his tea and poured some more for them both. "Looks like we'll need another kettle too..."

(( x3; Hmm ~ Dante needs to learn how to be social with out the alcohol xD))
Ears swiveling slightly he glanced at the kettle before he spotted from the corner of his eye the waiter coming with the first bit of food. He gave a side ways grin to Chance. "Well, we can get another since he's coming anyways..."
The waiter came over and Dante asked him for some -insert booze- as he set down the food and two plates before Chance and Dante.

Chance looked up to find the waiter coming. "So he is." He sat quietly, tail tapping the seat cushion beside him while the dishes were delivered. There would be more, so he bided his time taking a good whiff of his plate and snapping a set of chopsticks for himself.

Leaving them a moment, the waiter returned with plum wine and more tea. He set them on the table before once again leaving.
Reaching, Dante took the wine, pouring them both glasses before handing on to Chance. "Plum wine ~ It's terrific." He looked at his glass before taking a sip.

Chance watched the waiter impassively. After their plates, the tea and wine, sides were brought, including the soup. The unicorn grinned when it was set before him, but he took the wine in hand first, sniffing at it with interest. He had not tried plum wine before. He took a sip, shifting it around in his mouth for the full flavor. "Interesting..." He looked at it with a raised brow before taking another, larger sip and setting the glass down.

Mmm ~ He liked some sweet alcohols... It was more a dessert wine though. Tail flicking he took a sip himself before looking at the food... Now. The hard part. Deciding what to start with ~

Chance poured himself some more tea and pulled the wonton soup close. He glanced up at Dante with a smile. "Would you like some?" He had ordered it for himself, but he was not opposed to sharing.

Dante blinked and looked at Chance before smirking lightly and waving him on. "Oh no ~ Thats fine." His stomach reminded him a little that he was still hungry and he still hadnt eaten since yesterday. Reaching he put some Chow Mein on his plate to start off.

Chance gave the wolf his own crooked grin. "Thought I should ask," he replied lightly, his grin widening at the sound of the wolf's stomach. His ears were functionally large... He watched Dante only long enough to see him go for the chow mein before going back to the soup. Because Dante was not big on conversation, he did not presume to talk during the meal. He was almost too hungry anyway...

Taking a bite of the chow mein, Dante was more than happy to continue eating. Conversation was slim with Dante but even less likelier when he was hungry and there was food ~ He wasnt a pig, he had manners, but conversation seemed unneeded at the moment ~

Chance was perfectly happy with no conversation. There was such a thing as a "companionable silence," and they had achieved it. It was difficult to do with Dante... perhaps he felt like he was required to speak... He finished the soup with a grin and pushed the bowl to the side of the table so the waiter could pick it up easily. He pulled his plate closer and started with the dish sitting closest to him. He kept it varied however, taking a bite here, a few bites there...
