"Okay." Mira said before Taiku left. He waited a little while before getting out of the bed. He finally got up though, staggered a little, then took some asprin from his bag. He got dressed in his ripped jeans and uniform shirt with his red hoodie.

Surprisingly, when practice was just starting to get heated, Kale was back. Already done. "Finished coach." He said, breathing hard, but seemingly looking fine. Biting his pen, the coach glared, obviously seeing him as a skinner RUNNER now, not a soccer player....."Get into the skrimmage. You're team red, forward." he snapped, giving him the hardest position. Nodding, Kale grabbed a red shirt, putting it on, and running onto the field, counting the former forward out to get in the game. Smirking, the coach spotted Devin. "Heh...This kids gonna be cryin' like a baby." he said to him with glee.

"Oh?" Devin lingered forward and stood next to his father. "Why do you think that?" He crossed his arms over his chest.

finishing up quickly, taiku went back into the dorm room and grinned at mira. "you ready?" he asked. he eyed his clothes, and added, "i like those pants on you." as he approached the door out.

"Just look at him. SUre, he has abs, and muscles, but he doesn't even look BUILT for soccer. He also looks WEAK." Turning to Devin, he said "Besides, scholarship kiddies never get past round o-" "LOOK OUT!" Someone yelled. Suddenly a ball, that had gone through the net, and almost hit the coach before the net stopped it. The coach had ducked, and now felt just a tad embaressed. Turning, he was about to yell, when the anger choked in his voice.....The blue team were breathing like they had just run a marathon, and the red team had huge grins on their faces.....And Kale was twenty feet from the goal, swinging his leg back from a kick.....A goal kick...

Devin covered his mouth to muffle his laugh. His father just got pawned. And by a scholership kid. Apparently the "weakling" deserved it. He glanced up as soon as he recovered and he was hit with a rush of emotion. The kid was absolutly gorgeous. The way his uniform hung on his small body, and how his sweat made him look amazing.

laughing again, he said, "c'mon, you vain slowpoke," in a joking tone. he really felt like running, for whatever weird reason. but walking would do just fine. moving. yeah, he wanted to move.

Wincing, Kale knew he was in for it..."Uh....Sorry coach." He said slowly, grimacing. Mustashe bristling, the coach said "Get over here, BOY."
Oh no. He's used 'BOY'. Things were about to get nasty. Reluctantly, Kale jogged over.

Devin calmed himself as the boy came closer. Seriously! he lectured himself. Your father is right next to you and you're checking out a scholarship player?

Stopping in front of the coach, he looked down, calm, but kind of annoyed. "AIM FOR THE GOAL, NOT YOUR COACH." The coach said. The other players snickered, though the red team sure wasn't complaining. They had been winning 10-0 in the first ten minutes. After being told this by the blue captain, the coach only got MORE angry. Until he noticed his son....."Alright. Let's see what this junior's got. Devin, care to play a one on one?" He asked, turning to his son. Looking at Kale with an evil smirk, he said "If you can get the first goal on my son, you don't have to run laps for a week." He said. "But sir, I want to run l-" "Take it or leave it. " "Well" "Good, glad we agreed on it." The coach cut in, finishing the short talk.

"Ah, you'll be FINE." The man said, patting his back, pushing him in front of the sweaty soccer player, who sighed..."Uhm....Oh....Okay." Kale said awkwardly. This guy was.....Really kind of tall. And looked kind of.....Weak. He felt like he was gonna break him like a toothpick just by touching him...

"Fine." He grumbled. He jogged out onto the soccer field, gave a couple of the other players a man-hug as they all went to stand in the sidelines.
