Haldis set her cookie down. Her eyes paled to a soft white. "Well, I suppose there's one or two. But it depends on what kind of deal you're willing to make. " Haldis held out her hand to Jarred. "Would you like me to unlock the ship for you?" Her eyes glowed a pure white, her hand still waiting outstretched for his.

"You'd give me your life, and everything?" Haldis asked, her hand latching onto Jarred's. The little girl smile had gone slightly devilish as the union of hands began to glow a pale white. She ignored Cookie, far more interested in the deal.
