Colonel Norns
See, I'm kinda new, but I was thinking about the festivals in the last Harvest Moon games, they aren't that interactive. You go to the Fireworks festival to do what? Watch them, there should be a guy/girl who is in charge of making the fireworks, and if you befriend them enough you can help them make the fireworks and can launch them off. I also notice on most of the covers of the Harvest Moon games that he always holds a pitchfork, in all the games I've ever played I never had to use on let alone get one, once you cut the grass with the sickle you should have to use the pitchfork to bring it to the silo things. Also in the playstation version,(don't remember the name) you have to help Cliff get a job, you should be able to do more volunteer work, babysit, fill in for the priest, deliver some mail, and the like.
(kinda ripping off Animal Crossing here) There should be a trainstation that takes you to a couple of different towns, and you can pick which town you want to live in, and the two or so other towns that you don't choose get their own farmers, and the main goal of the game could be at the end of some-odd years to have your town's farm more profitable than the rest..........just tossing some ideas out there.
See, those are good ideas, except for a few ideas there. The same basic plot that's been used over and over again, which I still enjoy, is that your talking over your dad, or grandfather's farm, or just reinstating the haunted one or whatever, in ONE place. I think it's good that you're suggesting they can
travel to other towns, but they should
live and farm in the same place. After all, we wouldn't want to forget the HM games tradition.
And another thing, I don't think there should be a train station. I don't know why, I just don't think their should be. Also, the interacting would take a very long time, and a lot of work for the game creators. See, we're giving ideas, they're the ones that make the ideas into a game, so it's out there in existence. We wouldn't want to pressure them that much. We all know they'll make a few changes, but we don't want them to make
too many changes, because then the game we've made up will lose some of the originality we put into it.
Other than that, these are pretty good ideas.
Sorry, also. I was ranting. Next time something like this happens, DON'T LET ME RANT, too long anyway.
