Akiko smiled and grabbed Sam's hand, "Ok, we'll be back. Bye guys! Love ya Yug." She said waving off and rushing with Sam to her house. She looked at her and smiled, "So tell me, who asked who out? You guys look really cute together." Akiko was curious to know what happened. She wasn't sure if Atem and Sam liked each other for a long time, but he did favorite her as she did to him. Much how she favorited Yugi out of the whole group.
"Uh...." he said as Akiko dragged Sam off. "I'll see you both later," he said mainly looking at Sam. "Love you Sam," he said in a soft voice as he watched them leave. He knew he would see Sam soon, so he didn't have that empty feeling that he always felt when she left. He looked at Yugi and smiled confidently, "Well, it looks like everything worked out after all." He was sure his hikari would tell him more. He was a bit curious, after all, Akiko seemed to always struggle between resisting Yugi and going along with him. Now she seemed unrestrained, saying and doing what she wanted around Yugi. He was sure he finally told her. Atem also wanted to tell him about him and Sam, but decided to let him talk first.

Sam smiled. "i love you too." She said quickly with a small wave before walking away with Akiko. She blushed and giggled a little. "Thanks. He made the first move. I guess he was waiting for me and Joey to break up." She said. She look up at the sky and the back at Akiko. "So what about you and Yugi? Now that I think about it, it was really obvious you guys liked each other, I guess I was just oblivious." She said, scratching the back of her head.
Seto got up and started pacing around the room. he couldnt stand it. He wanted to go get Joey so bad. He leaned against the wall and ran his hands through his hair angrily. "Maybe I should just talk to him..." He said, getting desperate. he quickly left his room and went out to his garage, getting in one of his fancy sports cars. He knew where Joey lived. He had to tell his driver to go pick him up for Sam a few times. He started driving towards Joey's house.
"love you too." Yugi said blushing. yugi nodded eagerly and then let out a content sigh. "Yeah, it was so great. It took me all day to work up the courage but I finally told her how I felt!"

Akiko giggled a bit, "Aw... that's cute though." She scratched her head too then pushed her glasses higher up on her nose, "Well, I was oblivious to it too, but at the same time I realized it. Ah, I dunno- my mind works strangely." She then smiled again and added, "Well, Atem always did seem to favorite you our of the whole group. Like he was always protecting you. Yugi did the same thing with me.... I guess I never looked at it before like that though." THey arrived at her house. Akiko opened the door and was greeted by a black labrador retriever. "Hi Spirit!" she said kneeling down and rubbing her, following with baby talk that made the dog happily wag her tail. Spirit went up to Sam and wagged her tail, waiting to be pet. "Ok, to my room," she said standing up and walking to the room, the dog following happily with the girls.
The footsteps were close to Joey, but he was caught up in his own dilema that he could not hear them. Suddenly, a fist struck at Joey's face. Joey fell back, dropping the bottle and shattering it. The alcohol was well in his system, his senses and mobile functions were shortening. He was intoxicated, it didn't take long for somebody like him: he had no tolerance since he had never drank before, he was thin- so it went through his body faster, he hadn't eaten in a while so there was no food in his stomach to absorb the alcohol, and the alcohol was high proof. He laid there on the ground looking up, trying to see who hit him, "Who'th there?" he slurped- his vocal skills were long gone.
"Look what we have here, that gay f*****t from the park can't take the alcohol. Now we got ourselves a drunken f*****t," the boy called out who stuck him. It was the two boys plus two others that made up their group. They hadn't planned for revenge, but they wouldn't pass it up now that the oppritunity was there. The other boy joined in the insults, "So tell me, who's the b***h in the group?"
Joey struggled and stumbled to get up, "Screw you, you, you, dumbf brat." Joey swayed back and forth, he didn't even know what was happening to him.
"But in the end, you succeeded," Atem said proudly. "I too had to conjure up courage to tell Sam how I felt. You weren't alone when it came to that task," Atem added with a smile. He then crossed his arms, thinking about their friend Joey. "I'm worried about Joey- he was acting strange in the car. Sam tells me, he and Kaiba.... are interested in each other. But Kaiba acted as they always did," he said, however he snarled when he mentioned Kaiba. He was still incredibly pissed at him, though he tried to keep it to himself.

((aww I love labs, I have a chocolate lab named Killean))
Yugi nodded and sighed in agreement about Joey. "yeah, me too. Something must of happened between them. They werent with us all day and Joey had all those hickies on his neck. I think that might just mean that Kaiba was just playing him, that Joey cares about Kaiba and he doesnt really care back." He said, unable to see that the cold hearted duelist could have any feelings of love. After all yugi knew know what love was and Kaiba certainly wasnt the loving type.
Sam grinned. Akiko was right, Atem always protected and looked after her. She laughed a little. "I'm already starting to miss him." She admitted feeling a bit foolish. They had just parted and she already wanted to be with him again. She smiled and pet the dog when they arrived. "Youre house is nice Akiko." she somplimented while petting the dog. "And I love your dog! I wanted to get a puppy so bad but Seto wouldnt let me!" She complained. She wondered if Seto noticed she was gone and figured he was still working. She followed Akiko to her room.
"I just got to set things striaght and then I wont have this stupid feeling..." Seto said to himself, speeding down the road. On the way he saw some punks on the side of the street. He sped past them and looked in his rearveiw mirror. He saw a glimpse of blonde and his eyes widened. He did a quick u-turn and skidded the fancy car to a hault in the middle of the street. he jumped out and quickly walked towards the group. "Joey!" He called worriedly to the boy who was havign some trouble standing up.

Atem remembered the marks on Joey's neck, Sam was right- he looked liked he was mauled at. He couldn't help but cringed at the though- he too imagined it hurt. "Sadly, I think your right. Joey wouldn't have acted that way if he didn't care for Seto," he shook his head then added, "Why would Joey even choose Seto? They just seem to be too opposite, as if they clash." Atem then sighed, "I just don't know." They arrived at their house. Entering, Atem looked around and smiled- being reminded that the girls were coming back. Even though he knew Sam was coming back, he still felt empty without her. It was that same feeling he got every time he and her were apart. His stomach growled again, reminding him his stomach was empty. He unconsciously wondered off into the kitchen, just looking at the cabinents. He wasn't very good at cooking, or any type of food prep. After all, he's only been in his own body for about a year or so and even if he couldn't remember his past- he was a Pharoah with cooks who cooked for him. He grumbled at the cabinents.
[[lol, hungry Atem...]]
Spirit wagged her tail as Sam pet her. Akiko rushed around her room picking out various things she needed: hair brush, hair ties, glasses cleaner, body spray, deoderant, and a bag to put everything in. She opened up her closet and scooted off to the side so Sam could see to, "Go ahead, borrow what you like." She said picking out a skirt and tank-top for tomorrow. She then moved to her dresser to pick out pajamas. She wasn't sure what to go with- pj pants or pj shorts. "Hmmm," she stood there thinking to herself for a moment or so. She picked out pj pants and a pj tank top which had a pirate design on it. "I is a pirate," she joked. She ran to the bathroom to pick out her tooth brush and came back to the room. "Oh yea, pick out any pjs you want also, they are right here," she said.
Headlights, made the punks stop for a second until they thought it was gone. The leader took Joey and cracked him in the face. Joey easily stumbbled, laying there on the ground. He really couldn't feel any of their hits, but he also couldn't understand why he kept falling. He wasn't even sure where he was or what was going on. The punks looked over to see Seto walking toward them. "Aw, are you supposed his knight in flamboyant armor?" the boy insulted as the others laughed. They stood in Seto's way of Joey, putting their fists up as if ready to fight. "Now it's time for pay back," the leader said. Joey just laid on the ground, thinking he heard his name but couldn't process the thought.

((yeah they are! I always wanted like a german shepard or a husky when I move out but now that I have a lab I dont think I could pick any other dog. Killean is 6. and my grandmother has a black lad named koda, he's about 4))
Seto stopped walking to observe the situation. he clenched his teeth and growled at them, his eyes widening once again when he spotted Joey on the ground behind them. He imediately went to go to him but the punks stood in his way. He glared at them. "Get the hell out of my way. Youre not worth my time..." He said. Seto was strong but he wasnt sure if he could take on four guys at once. But he wouldnt let them hurt Joey. he had to protect him somehow. "Do you even realize how powerfull I am? I could have you dead with a simple phone call." He threatened. Seto wasnt above using force to get whatever he wanted.
Yugi shrugged. "I guess its like they say, opposites attract. But I dont think it will turn into anything. I'm sure Joey will get over him." Yugi said hopefully as they got home. He looked in the kitchen, wondering what he should cook. He was a decent cook since he and grandpa took turns making dinner. He wanted to show Akiko that he was usefull. "Alright, what should we make?" He asked and then realized Atem had no idea how to cook. "Um maybe I should do the cooking." He said, trying to say it without hurting Atem's feelings.
Sam had a bit of trouble finding suitable clothes. She was a taller then Akiko and not as thin either. She settled on a shorts and a long tanktop. She picked out some pj shorts and tanktop too. "Thanks Akiko, I got everything i need, ready to go?"

Two of the boys looked scared, death didn't sound worth it. Another one seemed slightly concerned while the other thought it was a bluff. The two who were afraid backed away a bit while the other two glared at Seto. "Your bluffing," the one said as he went to go grab his shirt- not a wise decision. All four of them were pretty weak individually, there stregnth came in numbers. But with two of them already backing down, they were slowly weakening. Joey squirmed slightly on the ground, wanting to get up but couldn't quite figure out how to move correctly to do so.
Yugi was much better at cooking then he was, much better. He nodded at him, "Ok." Atem weakest points were cooking and working a computer, though he was getting better at the computer. Other electronical devices he caught onto or already knew how to use while he and Yugi shared a body. He also found electronic gaming very interesting and was interested in seeing anything new that came out- though he still liked traditional gaming more. "The girls should be coming back soon," he said unable to keep Sam out of his mind. "I guess Grandpa is sleeping," he added since he didn't see him sown stares.
Akiko grabbed some video games and music CDs and added them to the bag along with her cloths and the cloths Sam choose. She zipped up the bag and put it on her shoulder, "Yup, I'm ready," she said as they walked to the front door. Akiko then stopped and gasped as she put the bag down and ran back to he room. Within seconds she ran back to meet Sam back at the door, holding a stuff animal fox. "I almost forgot Kitsun! I haven't fallen asleep without her since I was 10," she said hugging it. It was her favorite stuff animal. She grabbed the bag and walked out the door with Sam, "Ok, now I'm ready," she said as they walked to Atem and Yugi's house.

Sam raised an eyebrow as Akiko ran back upstairs. When she returned Sam smiled and they left. "I havnt had a stuffed animal since I was really little. The orphanage wouldnt let us bring our old ones. They said they were too easily infested with germs... but now I have my kuriboh Atem won me." She said happilly.
((I forgot about that kuriboh so we'll just pretend she still has it with her xd sweatdrop ))
"we'll have to keep quiet then." Yugi said as he started boiling some water. Then he started cutting vegtables. He was going to try and make a good dish for Akiko. He decided on a nice tariaki past with vegtables and beef. "remind me to call Joey tomorrow to check on him..." Yugi said, starting to feel guilty that they didnt invite Joey along. But he probably stayed at Seto's, or at least thats what Yugi told himself to feel less guilty.
"Sure why not, I dont care if you believe me or not. Its your life, bet it if you want. the only thing I'm wasting is time dealing with you losers..." Seto said, grabbing the boy's wrist harshly when he went to grab his shirt. Then Seto swung a quick right hook at his face. "I'll repeat myself. Get out of my way or I'll move you myself." He hissed at them, stepping closer, despretly wanting to help Joey.

[[grrr.... I started writing and my dad came in and annoyed me and I ended up losing what I wrote. I was in the middle of the first character but still.....]]
Akiko gave her a sad look, "It must have been really hard for you back then. I'm sorry." She felt bad for Sam, she didn't really have a good childhood. She gave her a comforting smile and then said, "But you have a stuff animal now that means a lot to you that you can grow with. Besides, it such a cute stuff animal." They were close to Atem and Yugi's house. She left a note for her mom back at the house that she was staying over a friends house (I forgot that part). Though her mom was pretty cool with letting Akiko do things, she may have put up a fight if she knew the sleep over had boys there as well. Oh well, Akiko was good anyway, she wouldn't do anything. And she didn't lie, she said a friend's house.
Atem decided to change into something not so damp. He looked through his drawers to find something. He usually fell asleep in boxers, that probably wouldn't be appropriate. He found a pair of black sweats that were baggy. To go along with it, a black T-shirt. After changing he went down stairs and entered the kitchen. It smelt really good, he sat at the table and watched Yugi cook, making it look easy.
THe two boys that were already scared ran off in fear. The leader hit the ground hard from Seto throwing him down. His face was scraped up since it hit the concrete. "Jesus christ your crazy!" he yelled at him. The other boy ran up to his friend and kneeled down. "Come on man, let's just leave. It's not worth it," he said trying to convince his friend. The leader stood up and backed away, "a** hole." He yelled ou in a weak defense as he ran off with his friend. Meanwhile, Joey managed to lay on his shoulder rather then his stomach like before. He looked up to see somebody standing over him. He hiccuped and said nothing yet. He was really in bad shape from the alcohol, his eyes were slightly red and he smelt of alchol everywhere.

Sam shook her head. "Thanks, youre right. I dont know what I would do without you guys. I'd probably be just as cold hearted as my brother..." she said light-heartedly. They arrived at the game shop. Sam walked in, immediately smelling the food. "Hey guys, were here." She announced. She walked into the kitchen, looking at Atem and smiling instantly.
Yugi heard the girls come back. He grinned and turned around. "Hey, the foods almost ready." He said happilly smiling at Akiko. "I hope you guys like tariaki." He said. He stirred the food in the pan, trying to hurry up. He wanted the food to be perfect.
Seto ignored them as they ran away. he was not playing games. When he wanted something, he got it. He hurried over to Joey, kneeling down. he cringed from the smell and how bad Joey looked. "What the hell did you do?!" he yelled at him, wrapping his arms around him and pulling him into a sitting position. He had been so worried. And if he hadnt come, Joey could have been seriously hurt... and it would have been all his fault.

Joey hiccupped as he was sat up by Seto. He had acheived his goal, he had forgotten what happened before. However, his feelings for Seto were still there. "Seto," he managed to say as he smiled a bit. He leaned into Seto's chest. "I didn'th do anthing...." he slurred not understanding what he meant.
Atem perked up when he saw Sam come in. He got up from the table to go over and greet her. He hugged her and kissed her on the forehead. What was minutes seemed to him as ages. "Welcome back," he said happily.
Akiko smiled too as she entered in. "Hello!" she greeted as she put the bag down. Her stomach growled as she smelt the food, followed her by happily announcing, "Yay food!" She did love food, all different types of food. Usually when she was hungry, she would talk about different food, which would get Joey and sometimes Sam, aggravated because she would get them hungry. The only thing was that she gets full a bit quicker then the others- but not all the time. She happily walked over to watch Yugi cook. "That looks really good. I didn't know you couold cook," she said.
"Can you cook Akiko?" Atem joined the conversation as he and Sam walked into the kitchen.
"Um......" Akiko said then laughed. "Er.... do grilled cheese sandwhiches count as being able to cook?" She giggled then added, "I can bake though... that has to count for something."

Seto just smiled a little, and hugged him tighter before picking him up and walking to his car. He set him in the passenger seat before he got in the drivers seat. "Youre comming back to my house..." He informed him even though he was too drunk to probably comprehend anything Seto was saying. He wouldnt do anything with Joey now that he was drunk but he certainly wasnt going to let him out of his sight for a while.
Sam smiled, hugging her boyfriend back. "Thanks, miss me?" She teased, hugging him tighter since she had missed him a ton. She let go of him to sit down at the table. She laughed at the conversation. "Instant noodles is about all I can handle. i tried baking before but I just end up eating the dough before its cooked." She said.
yugi blushed. "Yeah I can cook. Grandpa's not always home so I guess I do most of the cooking." He explained. He smiled at Akiko. "Well maybe we can make a dessert then." He grabbed some plates and put the pasta in a dish on the table. "All done. Tell me what you think." He said proudly.

Joey went along with him easily. Sitting in the seat, he laid on his side facing Seto and slumpped down. When Seto came in the car, Joey's eyes were closed. "I missed you..." he said what he felt. He brought his hand to his arm and left it there to rest. "I'm goin' wid'th you?" he said basically repeating what Seto said but as a question.
"I did miss you," Atem said kissing Sam's head one last time before they sat down. He chuckled when Sam mentioned about eating the dough before being able to bake it. "I can't cook either," he said relating to Sam. He happily took the plate and began to eat. "This is good," he said while eating.
Akiko sat at the table with Yugi and nodded, "That sounds fun!" she agreed about the dessert. She grabbed a plate as she also commented, "Bread dough is the yummiest for some reason...." She began eating too and smiled after the first bite, "This is really good! Good job!" she said giving him a peck on the cheek as a congradulation. "Oh, I brought some video games and music CDs," she then looked down and realized she had Kitsu (I spelt it wrong last time) in her hands. She got up put it on her bag and came back.
Atem looked at Sama and said, "Good huh?" He looked back at Akiko and asked, "Do you have that CD I like?" he asked hopefully.
"Um...." Akiko thought, trying to visualize what was in her CD cases. "I think so, Ra- right? Geez you like them a lot." She then looked at Yugi and asked, "You know, I'm not sure what type of music you like. So, what's your favorite genre? You too Sam, what's yours?"
