It is a pencil Kita! good eye! I like to think of myself as a crazy cartoonist.
23. consider this posibility:
a. think about deceased TV star John Ritter
b. Now pretend that Ritter had never become famous. Pretend he was never affected by the trappings of fame, and try to imagine what his personality would have been like.
c. Now, imahine that this person- the unfamous John Ritter- is a character in a situation comedy.
d. Now, you are also a character in this sitcom, and the unfamous Ritter character is your father.
e. However, this sitcom is actually your real life. In other words, you are living inside a sitcom: everything about your life is a construction, featuring the unfamous John Ritter playing himself (in the role of your TV father). But this is not a sitcom, this is your real life. How would you feel about this?

If my life were a sitcom, I'd have a laugh track following me all day, laughing at things that aren't even funny, or at silence between conversations. And there'd be transitions between the boring scenes.
Never heard of John Ritter.

I think if your life were a sitcom you wouldn't notice the difference because your life had always been that way. However instead of sitcom entertainment we would watch somethin similar to real life events for fun. Must be some sort of paralell universe.

I'm with you. If your entire life was spent in the sitcom, how would you know that isn't reality, when in fact, it is your reality? I guess if I had to choose a type of sitcom I'd go with the classic way. Thinking of I Love Lucy here. Then maybe progress when I got older to things like "The Office" or "Friends". 3nodding For some unknown reason "The Truman" movie is stuck in my mind... sweatdrop

I've only watched one episode of The Office, and I really don't know what all the hollablue is about... sweatdrop Sure, it's cute, but I wouldn't become obsessed with it like one of my friends. sweatdrop

Well it depends on what episode you saw, I think it's awesome. It's one of the funniest shows in my opinion.

I've actually only seen one episode myself. I think it's the one when they go for a training camp, but it turns out to be a fight for who gets to be the next boss.
