Nothing...Shinji chuckled still, looking down to Lena. I just...love you so much that sometimes I think of things that amuse me...he admitted, shaking his head as he leaned closer to her again, his emerald locks in his face some.

Lena smiled and pushed his hair from his face as she leaned foward to kiss him softly.

Shinji smiled as Lena brushed his hair aside, and let his eyes fall closed as her lips met his. Slinking closer to the ground he tried his best not to break the kiss, pulling Lena close, disreguarding the others that were near the water.

Lena let her eyes fall softly shut and she moved a hand to the back of Shinji's neck, tilting her head slightly.

Sukkubus "I suppose not all of us are as bright as I am," Odette shrugged, eyes falling shut. "Some are easily swayed, or have faulty ambition."
A soft frown tugged at her lips, brows beetling as her eyes opened to stare at the water. Whatever mermaid chose legs over a fin was a moron, and had no right to be called a sea dweller. How could one be more taken with the land above ground than that below? A sort of awkward frustration began to burn the pit of her belly and the back of her throat.
"No, some of us are just downright stupid," she bit off angrily, wavering voice carrying across the water. It wasn't directed at Yi Xian, though she wished it was. You couldn't really argue or insult someone if they weren't there...
She cleared her throat and lowered herself deeper into the water, "There was a story of a human girl who ate one of my people...they say she lived for 800 years." - a sigh - "But who cares. She was just another human."
"If she's still alive, this human I mean, you should seek her out a kill her. Make an example of her to all the others that would hunt you down." Yi Xian said casually, as if he was mentioning how sunny it was outside.

Shinji smiled through the kiss, relaxing onto the blanket. He held her lips to his a moment longer before breaking it, looking to her with a smile. I love you...he said softly, brushing his fingertips down her cheek and neck.

Shinji smiled to Lena still, faintly blushing as he moved to pull her to himself closely, laying on the blanket under the trees. You have...no idea...how much I like hear that...he said, smiling brightly to her.

Shinji let his eyes fall shut again as he held Lena close, sighing as his mind wandered. After a moment his body jerked, and he couldn't help but start laughing. Wow...I almost just fell asleep!!

Lena giggled some "Would you like to go back to the house... we can if you're tired..." she nodded.

She gave a derisive snort, the action causing the water to bubble around her. She passed her hands through the water, fingers splayed, and drew them towards her chest.
"Huh. Yeah right," she finally said, eyelids falling half mast. She flicked her tail and began to tilt backwards, wings dipping and spreading beneath the surface. They shifted and met back to back behind her, arching her body so that she was floating on her back, held down by her leathery wings.
"To seek out a myth of a girl, on land. Land, furrball. I have fins, and land doesn't appeal to me..." Her last words fell short of believable; when had she been swayed? When she had met Kalyca, the very first human she had ever seen? When she had been promised to see a cat? When she had fought with no gain in the shallows?
Or maybe it had been when she had learned about what her mother had done.
Her tail curled like a translucent ribbon, head turning so she lay her cheek upon the cool lake.
"I will not trade in my fins..."

Yi Xian smiled, a predatory smile that wasn't meant for her but only a dream of seeking out blood. His claws dug into the ground at his side and he started out into the water once more to meet her half way. His yellow eyes were alight with the promise of vengence, even if it was on behalf of another.
"I'm not saying to trade in your fins... if you have connections on land then you can find where she goes if she yet lives. And there are places where the lakes and oceans connect to the land so you can find more people to aid your cause and to warn humans off from your kind else they be caught on the bad side of my axe." Yi Xian sank to his knees, the water level with his chest as he reached out to her. "I may not want to eat you... but I've tasted human flesh before, and I'm not one to turn down a hunt."

Shinji shook his head, giving Lena a sincere smile. I'm not tired...just got lost in thought and swept away by the surroundings...he laughed, moving to kiss her cheek.
