Vincenta DiscordantNote Definitely Pomp and Circumstance. That song is pure EVIL! Another one that should be thrown onto the fire is one my band's playing simply called 'Dance Movements'. I hate it because it makes me go into tenor clef. I can read it, but I sure as heck can't play it. Besides, even if I could play it that register sounds awful on bassoon. I AGREE POMP AND CICUMSTANCE SHOULD DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thank god I am a junior we should have a massive bond fire kids around the world throw in their copy of graduation music

I remember playing Pomp and Circumstance in high school and yes it is evil. I don't play it much. I'm more into the composing area now. But yeah I'd have to agree with everyone on that song.

Tohru Honda-san Pomp and Circumstance but I will NEVER have to EVER play it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause I'm a Senior, but that is sad too even though I hate that song SOOOOOOOOOOOO much.

Mitsuko The Most Wonderful Time of The Year! OMFG... I hate that song... >.< same goes for A Scottish Melody (which is that one song they play at New Years...) >.< thats my band(sry its the first page)but yea now the winters come 2 stay should burn in an open fire for homeless ppl

we played 'grayson dance' and our director kept pushing and pushing and pushing the tempo....owwwwwww....it should die!!!!! or....to save on matches, we could just duct tape the director to the ceiling until the blood rushes to his head and he is forced to direct it slower!

OK, my friends and I came up with a list of music we copied and then burnt because we didn't want to keep the copies we had made to practice with. Here they all are:
Sleigh Bells
Songs of a Whalemen (I disagreed on this one. No one liked it though)
Pueblo
Slane
Friend Like Me from Aladin... that is, if you are forced to learn it in 2 weeks
Be Our Guest. We didn't even wait till the end of the year for this one
Trepac
Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Pevensy Castle. Our director actually had to tell the clarinets to take turns playing the beginning bar by bar because all it did was repeat.
Kings Go Forth. He made us do this for sight-reading. It was so easy we still wanted to burn it.
Korean Folk Medely. Our director advised us not to play it again since it was almost perfect in sight-reading. The fire needs more fuel.
Hungarian Dance #5. Symphony Director pushed it too hard
Hungarian Air and Dance. He also seemed to like Hungaria
Brandemburg. My viola friends suggestion
Finale to 1812 Overture. Timpinast couldn't get beginning right. Bad memories of Symphony Director.
The entire Symphony folder really.
Long list. Many of the songs we played turned out to be things we hated by the end because our director was being very picky. This is the long list. Amazingly, a few pieces did not meet a firery fate.

The only ones I really want to BURN is all the stupid little cheers from GROOVE ON CHEER PACK. All of those SUCKED!

Not to offend anyone from Hungary but ANYTHING that begind with "Hungarian" is bound to be a total disaster. In my band that is... Oh, and never play ANYTHING from Fiddler on the Roof... Especially not "matchmaker".

Urkanian Christmas Carol "Carol of the Bells", because of the repeated quarter notes, 2 eigth(sp), 1 quarter........... (not fun on the oboe or flute)

froggyfluf i like football stand music. it's all laid back and we get to dance to it. however, our show music isn't nearly as cool i have to agree football stands music is awesome!
