I just got an ocarina. The notes it plays are too low for Zelda songs (dammit!) but I'm still figuring it out.

Nice. I'd suggest researching some of the other ocarina out there. See price variations. I bet that one is just fine. Though, instructions on how to play might be good. 3nodding

It only gives me instructions on how to play Happy Birthday. Whoopde-freaking-doo. rolleyes
Experimenting, I learned how to play the 4-note tune that plays whenever you open treasure chests in Zelda games.

The easiest song I'll learn on any instrument. xd

While experimenting more (screw homework!), I've found that you don't even have to block certain holes to play the music. What only matters is how many holes. So it's a helluva lot easier to remember most notes.
Plus, I can almost play Jailhouse Rock! biggrin
