Daypaw He considered that, and then noting that his power was practically useless unless there was a small hoard of rodents nearby or a flock of birds stashed somewhere in the maze, he took note of his lack of weaponry and then practically skipped back to Corellia's side. Hell, he'd high step and do a jolly jig to limit his chances of bodily harm here, were he the skipping sort. "I'm beginning to regret coming here...."
She stalked toward the hedge, sword glowing brighter the deeper they ventured into the shadows. Corellia herself only shed a tiny bit of light, carrying only a little of her own darkness with her. She brandished the sword high in preparation of a strong downward swing through the hedge (not of the maze, just around the edge of the park and holding them in).

Kasri Noireau Eulalia Danae (It's always scary to post for the first time, especially when there are so many rules posted and all that, but we're a lot more lax then it first appears. ^-^) "Never hit my head on a doorway before, I've run into walls though, lots of walls." Ruby looked from Cordelie to the mechanical angel, giving her a tilted look. She was about to say something than stopped, her mind moving back to Cordelie. Ruby was a hyper thing, and always slightly scattered of thought. "So, wants more punch?!" In spite of her shy nature, Cordelie giggled, a barely audible little sound of pure mirth. "You should be grateful for that, too. I was in Tibet once and by the end of a week my head was in quite a lot of pain. All of the doors are little... and the roofs! I had a crick in my neck something fierce from all the stooping." The compliment, coming from someone who was, in her opinion, far more lovely than she herself could ever hope to be, left the blue eyed woman slightly flustered, her shyness coming back full force. Murmuring a bashful thanks, Cordelie looked around at the party, then frowned. Barely even hearing Ruby's question, the nymph turned back and said with a worried expression, "is something... burning?"
Finally able to see, she smiled at Cordelie and Ruby. "Greek costumes, right? That's pretty cool. Who are you both supposed to be? And did someone mention punch? I haven't had any yet--couldn't find a clean cup." The girl was talkative.
((AHH! ED, I'm so sorry! crying I got halfway done with the guide Wednesday, and then I got a headache. I'll try to get it done tonight. crying ))

The instant his lips brushed hers, the jinx activated and the Cheshire Cat both slipped off the branch and lost his hold on her hand.
"Watch who you mess with, Cat," the Purple Jinx giggled. "And when she warns you to watch out, maybe do that, too."

Burning Disaster "If I had to take a guess." He patted out a small flame on his arm. "I'd say the maze is trying to kill us." "I'm very impressed with your analytical skills, truly I am." Sahira said in a dry voice. But her tone quickly sobered. "I'm not sure if they're trying to kill us, so much as keep us from leaving though. Those vines could have snapped my neck in an instant, they didn't."

"I think I once dated a guy with fire powers. There's also this dude walkin' around in fire armor." Ruby glanced at the angel and smiled, "I'm Persephone. I'm gonna be carried away to the underworld! An' yes, I said punch, I can go get some for all of us, just say the word. It's bubbly, I do so like bubbly."

Mackie the Knife "Probably, but I haven't recognized her, though. Lots of people here I don't recognize," he said as he followed her through the crowd. "Don't look for appearances, look for habbits, small give aways. Ora can hide things, but she sometimes over looks the way she tilts her head, the rythm of her walk, or the way she holds a cup." Erica gave a slight sigh, "If you know her well, you know what to look for."

Burning Disaster Glad to see a smile as she put the mask down, he took a drink. It was good, but left a slight aftertaste his last drink didn't have. The queen watched and waited for him to fall to the ground screaming in pain, blood flowing from his mouth and nose. None of that seemed to be happening, and she tapped her foot in slight impatience.

Seeing as no-one else was phased by the thought of a fiery end to the party, Cordelie tried to ignore the acrid stench of smoke. "Pyrokinetics... Oh yes, I think I saw a few of them earlier. I apologise, I'm just always slightly edgy around fires. They make my fingers itch." She confessed, shifting shyly from foot to silver slippered foot (Another item she had salvaged from the abandoned wardrobes of the former Phoenix suburbs. She had quite a collection of pretty clothes now, actually.) Answering the angel, the dark haired woman explained; "I'm one of the Napaea... they were the ocean nymphs in greek myth... I've always liked the stories about them, ever since I was little. And if you wouldn't mind showing me where the bowl is, Fräulein Persephone, I'd love to get some punch. I cannot remember the last time I've had a bubbly drink." She smiled, nervously toying with the fabric of her ocean coloured gown.
