kuntrykid LittleDarkWarrior16 Yeah where do you stand? I am so tired of people discriminating against them. I am not a lesbian or bi but I just stand for equality. I also think it's bs that guys are like "Oh hot lesbians are ok but fags are dumb," sorry if you arent down with the language but seriously who gives a flying damn they are people let them get married it wont devalue a thing they are people who love eachother get over it and people that say that they will cheat more than heterosexuals are stupid it happens in all relationships it shouldnt but it does and also people who say they intentially spread disease (yes people say that) thats dumb you cant even do a study on that no one will admit to that it happens on accident but no one would do that there thats my view whats yours If the whole world went homosexual humans would die out. I know that's not in danger of happening but, if it wasn't meant for the whole world then why would it be meant for a portion of it? they are still going to be gay even if they can't be legally married

"Seriousness is the refuge of the shallow."
:I Frankly, it shouldn't even be an issue. This is the 21st century, for god's sake. First of all, not legalizing same-sex marriage is sexist. And we were supposed to be over sexism. Why is it sexist? Because you are judging people because of their gender. I don't see why the heck it's even illegal in so many countries. People deserve equal rights, and gender, race, religion etc. should never matter. People who oppose same-sex marriage often use either, or both, of these arguments.'
1. Homosexuality is unnatural. 2. Legalizing same-sex marriage would "ruin the sanctity of marriage"
Both of these are lies. Homosexuality is in no way unnatural - it occurs in nature, between animals, for example. Besides, if you oppose unnatural things, you should also oppose synthetic fibre, electricity and soap. Also. "The sanctity of marriage." This is a term that has been made up by what seems to be, mostly Christian activists. If they want to keep the sanctity of marriage intact, why are they preventing people who truly love each other from getting married? Shouldn't they be opposing adultery, domestic abuse and other marriage-related crimes instead? It's just stupid. A lot of people also say that same-sex couples can't have children, and that the main purpose of marriage is to procreate. Also a lie. How about impotent couples? And since when can't same-sex couples have kids?
NNNNOT to mention the fact that with marriage, the couple gets around 500 legal benefits. For example, they are counted as the next of kin so they can make decisions for the sick, can visit at hospitals and prisons etc.
And the there's the issue of religion. A lot of Christians say it goes against the teachings of the Bible etc. I think this is unbelievably arrogant. Marriage was around wayyyy before Christianity, so STFU please.
TL;DR ver: It should be legal everywhere (and people need to stop mixing politics and religion.)

Anyone who opposes me is wronggggg biggrin - Oscar Wilde. I never understood people using the bible as an argument, atheists can get married last I checked. I really really REAAALLLY have never been able to grasp anyone not being okay with gay marriage... it doesn't affect those people in any way. I don't get why people want to eff up other people's lives. I wish it were legal in more states. :[

I'm one of those people who belive that love doesn't exist. But, I'm a huge gay/bi/lesbion supporter. I don't understand, if this "love" did exist, then would it have a gender? No! Love doesn't have a gender!

I support gay marriage fully. Honestly, I haven't heard a reasonable argument against it that wasn't religious. And we're supposed to have separation of church and state. It's natural. It occurs in nature with other species. So honestly there's nothing wrong with us legalizing gay marriage in my opinion.

I belive that yes, homosexuals should be able to marry each other. Love is love, and that's all that matters.

Heteros can have have marriage, I don't need a title, I just want the rights that go along with it; I can live with out the respect that goes along with marriage because you don't have to respect my love, you simply have to respect the law, and if lawmakers aren't willing to give gay couples the same legal treatment, then remove the legal benefits that are contained in a marriage license.
I ask for equal legal rights/protections, nothing more.

I know I'm going to get alot of hate comments from saying this based off of what I read. Anyways, I think that the Lesbian/Gay community should have a right to some sort of union, but not exactly a marriage. The Lesbian/Gay community should have the same rights as the married community. In order to silence the Catholic Community (I'm Catholic myself, so please no hate comments on this) we must make a form of union which isn't technically "Marriage."
It's kinda funny because my girlfriend and I are arguing at the moment about this. She has so many gay friends so obviously she's for the marriage thing.
*shrugs*
I stand where I stand. My thoughts are mine and mine alone. Try to change them. They will be uninfluenced. Please spare me the hate comments. Thank you. Have a nice day.
