What the...? Are you serious? Why did they cut your pay that much? I think that's a bit drastic, don't you?

They used the excuse that they took out some of the many jobs I do. 3nodding
Oh well, it's only money.

Oh, and what jobs did they say they took out? O.o True, it is only money, but that can still make you feel bad about yourself. Sigh.

That's just evil. stare
What I meant by that is that I don't strive to obtain an object, but to live better, happily. In other words, I prefer friends and happy memories over objects.
Well, maybe except cookies. xd

I try not to be materialistic, but there are days where I'm like "OMG! I have to buy this!" and I really don't need to... sweatdrop I tend to evaluate my standings on things. As of right now I'm living a very Spartan lifestyle, but that's okay. 3nodding
Oh, and my favorite cookie is the sugar cookie! YUM-O!

I totally overdosed on the chocolate chip cookies when I was a child. Now just looking at the combination makes me somewhat ill. I like chocolate, and I like cookies, just... not together. xp

That reminds me of my friend circle.
It's an inside joke, every time we choose a place to eat someone shouts, "Spartans! Tonight we dine in (insert place here.)"
I think the sheer number of inside jokes keeps new people from entering "the circle."

Inside jokes is why it took me a while to blend in with my gf's friends. xp
I remember a friend of mine told me that he and a friend always wanted to go to someplace new. But when they said it out loud, they would replace "new" with "queer."
Which I think is a definition of queer, right? sweatdrop

Nope. Queer=strange, weird, odd.
Or to be even more specific:
queer -er, -est –adjective 1. strange or odd from a conventional viewpoint; unusually different; singular: a queer notion of justice. 2. of a questionable nature or character; suspicious; shady: Something queer about the language of the prospectus kept investors away. 3. not feeling physically right or well; giddy, faint, or qualmish: to feel queer. 4. mentally unbalanced or deranged. 5. Slang: Disparaging and Offensive. a. homosexual. b. effeminate; unmanly. 6. Slang. bad, worthless, or counterfeit. –verb (used with object) 7. to spoil; ruin. 8. to put (a person) in a hopeless or disadvantageous situation as to success, favor, etc. 9. to jeopardize. –noun 10. Slang: Disparaging and Offensive. a homosexual, esp. a male homosexual. 11. Slang. counterfeit money. —Idiom 12. queer the pitch, British Informal. to spoil the chances of success.
I... don't have a lot of inside jokes, sadly, but I think I'd get the hang of them if I joined an established group that had them. 3nodding
