|| I'm still here, I just take forever to post! ||
Sibyl could feel the emptiness in her stomach as well as head for a moment as she merely stood there staring at Ceon. She even allowed herself for a moment to be distracted by his near by corpse by thinking of what Layna was going through and how Gabriel was doing. The human side of her felt guilty for not being there and her wolven side wanted to assure that nothing happened to her God son. Just a few days before he'd died, Ceon had actually called her up to talk briefly and he'd told her that she was Gabriel's Godmother. The title seemed meaningless to her human side now that Ceon was gone but her wolven side was protective and stubborn and insisted on keeping the title despite Gabriel's fallen father.
She disregarded everything around her in that moment and stalked over to the site where Ceon had been buried. Layna's scent came up and Sibyl's human and wolven side instantly felt remorse for Layna. After all, wolven partners were more often than not partners for life and to lose one's partner was to lose a large portion of one's self. All Sibyl could do was stare, stare at the ground and wonder what had happened and what had went wrong. She could have been there, her human side kept telling her that. And her wolven side was telling her that she'd failed as Ceon's leader and friend. There was an urge to howl for her fallen comrade but now wasn't the time.
Slowly she rose from her kneeling position and she stood to face Alasdair and then looked over to Veroen. Something was going on inside his head since she could sense the remorse and sadness he felt and it caught her off guard. She had no idea of knowing if it was grief for Ceon but she didn't know who else he would be sad for while standing there. "Were you there when he was killed?" The blow hit the hardest when she actually admitted aloud that Ceon was dead. It hit her as a leader that'd failed one of her friends and it was tearing at her, threatening to overtake her.

((lol yeah, at least someone didn't leave me hanging on a post.))
Veroen, still expressionless, closed his eyes for a moment, the opened them as Sibyl spoke to him. He stared at her for a minute after she finished her question, noticing her get a little unsteady. He wondered if she was about to break down right here and now.
"Yes i was there at the time of his death.'' He relied to her with one sentence, wondering how she was handling this in her mind.

Sibyl's face was emotionless and blank as she stood before Ceon's grave. Her pale lavendar eyes gave away no cues as to how she was feeling or what was going on in her mind. There were no clues as to what was going on, she was limp and expressionless. Her voice wasn't quite a monotone, though it was bordering one as she spoke to Veroen and asked him questions about what had happened. After all, he couldn't lie to her, she'd be able to detect the lie with her instincts. "Was he killed by a demon?" Her questions were short and quick to the point.

stinkeekitty sakura-haruno-sister "That friend of yours has died hasn't he?" Alex said as she felt a wave of grief and pain ripple through her body. "Do you want to go and see what happened?" Ghostflower nodded slowly at Alex's question. She slipped her sleeve back on and stood up, Fangoria silently sleeping in her arms that were gently folded. Ghostflower walked back over to where she saw Ceon and arrived at the sight, stopping next to Layna and Gabriel. Her stare seemed emotionless, but hot tears poured out of her crystal blue eyes and ran down her face. "Waaaah, waaah!!" Shadow wailed as he saw his mother cry. "Shh, shh, it's ok." Alex said as she tried to calm the wailing child. "How's about we head back to my apartment, Ghost? the babies might get sick if their out here too long."

Veroen silently nodded and looked to his right, out in the distance, lost in thought. He sighed and looked toward her with a grim expression on his face.
"Yes, by a demon. One who goes by Daiguren. I do not know much more about him, for i only walked into the area after the damage was already done...." Veroen paused for a moment "And that was right before the demon left the area with Ceon laying on the ground, a bloody mess, with his wife and child kneeling over him....And before he died, the Hunter named Kuro walked into the area and almost shot Ceon...he was...dishonorable. no one should shoot their enemy and insult them like that on their deathbed...."
Veroen continued to look off into the distance as he spoke, picturing the scene in his head.

Unlike Veroen's countenance, Sibyl's was completely wiped of anything that resembled emotion. Her eyes were neither about to water nor were they incredibly dry. Her breathing rate was completely normal and her voice was fairly normal though it was closer to a monotone than was usual for Sibyl. She was upset to say the least, especially since she'd been the one to assist Ceon in fighting Daiguren the first time. She'd not been there and she'd failed him, however, she wasn't going to let Daiguren's soul wander free. He would definitely have something coming after she got out of this situation.
"I figured as much. I've encountered him before and Ceon always seemed to struggle while fighting him. I was there to protect and help him the one time but I honestly hadn't a clue that he was struggling to fight against him on his own. You think someone would have called for help had Ceon been in trouble ... I don't understand why Layna just would have sat there and watched it all as if she were helpless and she couldn't get ahold of us." Kuro was a name Sibyl recalled having been at that crowded meeting and he was a vampire traitor, apparently. "Hm, interesting. Trying to have me enraged at your vampire traitor so you don't have to do the dirty work of ridding him from the coven and world permanently?"
Though she hadn't been the closest with Ceon all the time, it didn't matter to Sibyl at all. Ceon had been her pack mate, her family. She'd warned him to stick with the pack and had advised him to trust his pack and ask for help if he'd needed it. In a way, Sibyl was certain that Ceon had been overconfident and figured that he'd be able to take down Daiguren on his own. Apparently he had made a grave mistake, one that cost him much more than just his life, he'd cost his family a husband and a father. And the simple fact that she could have and should have been there was bothering her beyond reason. She'd lost her brother and friend to that filthy demon all because she hadn't known he'd needed help.
Sibyl was taking major blame for Ceon's death. Blaming herself for it since she was his leader and was supposed to keep better track of everyone so things like that didn't happen. Of course, there were other lycans that'd died as Ceon had died and she barely knew them but they were still family, whether or not they'd crossed paths. The burden from the guilt of not having saved Ceon was heavy on her shoulders as she was a leader of her pack.

James walked through the park while gripping his arm tightly. Blood dripped slowly from the bite and he held one of his pistols in his free hand. He was going to find whatever that thing was, and make Laureen wish she had never been born.

Laureen ran into central park, still in herwolf form , from Jame's apartment.
What have i done? She kelpted thinking to herself.
She needed to rest. Her mind was swiming. She layed down and fell asleep for a hour or so, when she woke back up she was back to her human form, in tattered clothes she wore the night before. . She sat next to the closest tree and began to cry. She never wanted to change anyone , but she did..that night.

James caught sight of Laureen from the corner of his eye. I've got you now, devil beast. James strode forward and stopped right in front of the crying figure in front of him. "You think you're funny, b***h? You like trying to eat people?!" James sent a foot flying forward at Laureen.

" Your messing with the wrong b*tch" She was about to pull the trigger when the clouds cleared. She looke at James and then said " Brace yourself" As she began her painful transormation.

Sibyl sighed as she saw a newer lycan that wasn't able to control themselves transforming because of the moon cycle. She knew that she'd have to be the one to deal with her since she'd probably go on some blood rampage and expose the rest of the lycans. As much as she hated to leave Alasdair to her back, she was forced to as she decided to take action before something happened to the two lycans fighting. After all, she'd bitten the guy and Sibyl could already smell his newly formed scent. A new lycan under a full moon wasn't exactly pleasant and she hoped that the male wasn't ready to transform or she'd have two angry lycans to deal with.
Within an instant, Sibyl had made it over to the two battling lycans and stood directly beside them. "Hey," she said as she grabbed Laureen's arm and pulled her away from James, "what do you think you're doing?" Her voice was calm and level just as it always was. "You bit him, he's your responsibility now. You're not supposed to fight with him. It's your job to explain to him what's happening to him. You very well might have ruined his life and you're going to be the one to deal with the consequences of him possibly hating you forever. Now stop acting like a child and grow up! We've had enough lycan casualties as of late." She growled into Laureen's face and her lavender eyes turned to an amber colour as she held tightly onto her arm.

James looked up at the moon and felt something he had never felt before. The bite started throbbing and he doubled over as his ribs and bones extended. He let out a shrill cry as fur started to sprout and his jaw extended and filled with many fangs. As his left inch of humanity began to leave, he screamed, "What the hell is happening!?"
