Chaotic Rose It's the whole love thing I guess. Draw to the impossible. I don't think a love that great can exist. Yes it does. When I think of truly astounding, knock you breathless kind of love stories--I think of The late Steve Irwin-and his widow. They had 14 years of married life that not only rivaled fiction, but wrestled it to the ground, top-jaw tied it and mastered it!

Books came out, MAYBE two years ago, and the movies are recent too.

*sigh* You and me both Ari...you and me both. Ash (*casts eyes heavenward and whispers* "Thank you oh most Merciful Father") is pretty down to earth...she read all the books...but once done, she awoke from their grip--and better still, her gentle (and sometimes not so gentle) chiding on the subject awoke her sister also to some of the most glaring flaws in the series.
NOT that I'm a huge Ann Rice fan either...but it was far easier to respect her work. (jmho)

Agreed, at least Anne Rice's books held my interest without making laugh or want to punch someone in the throat.
Even if she does spend three fourths of a page describing how much dust is on each piece of furniture in the room. >.>;
