Fiend is pretty much pitting his grappling knowledge against mines. Mind you, he has real life experience while I only have bits and pieces of irl practice from my martial art club. Not only that, but I technically have been studying grappling for like years, so as far as roleplaying go, it's not hard to apply what I learn to writing, which is why I've been able to dominate in physical combat a lot with Athena over the years.

But due to being so out of study and practice, Fiend might win this match if I don't get my act back together. I just have to remember the mechanics of grappling, mainly BJJ, Just, when it's BJJ vs. Judo, its gets VERY technical, cause we have to make each of our moves believable. It's fun, but makes you pay very close attention to detail. Clearly not the kind of roleplay you'll want your kids in.

Vin: I was playing too much SSF4...but the game was borrowed and I gave it back cause I couldn't handle my lag no more. Which was stupid cause I was enjoying playing Cody and Juri. Then I started to pick up Adon, just to play around with his air jaguar kicks and some stuff.

You can never play too much. But lately, I've been getting my a** handed to me online. But I've grown tired of that stiff d pad. Switching to the smooth SF fightpad on Friday when I get paid.

And mainly, it's my character going from a rear hug into a full nelson while Fiend's character does a Judo throw. I transitioned it into a neck crank, if it all worked out.

I played with good internet and, from scratch, I quickly managed to get like a thousand PP's on my friends account (so I guess that means i beat enough ppl on a row). Footsies and cross ups w/o lag was the name of the game. You should get a stick, though. Unless you already know you're more comfortable on a pad.

-- AND All you have to do to escape a full nelson is step aside and put/stick your hips behind your opponent's (from the side not all way to the back)

Then full nelson can be easily broken.
