"Bad men hurt Mr. Cwow! Then Ms. Fenwis showed up in a white... dwess and I could... see... thwough... her!! And Mr. Weeve was... hurwt bad too..." She had a few troubles with her words as she tried to find the correct word to place in her sentences to have them make sense.

Nyl was quiet for a long moment, trying to translate from Syoku's small vocabulary and understand what had happened all at once. "So...are Clow and Reeve okay now?"

Nyl smiled. "You said Seph made you a picture?" She held out her hand, and in it, fire took on the shape of a small bird. "Like this?"

The fire disappeared, and Nyl raised an eyebrow. "You drew a rose...and Seph drew you one, out of fire?"

"Otay, Ms. Nyl!" Syoku closed her yes and place her hands over them so it would be sure that she was not peeking. "Weady Ms. Nyl!!"

Nyl reached into the bag she was still carrying and pulled out two things. In front of Syoku she set down a pad of blank paper and a box of crayons.
"Okay. You can open your eyes."

Syoku peeked out from her hands and saw the crayon and paper. She grinned and took the crayons, happily hugging them, then hugged Nyl in great thanks, acting as if it was everything to her, "thank wou Ms. Nyl!"

Nyl hugged the little girl back, happy because she was happy. "You're quite welcome, Syoku. I tried to find something you would like."

"I wuve cowors!" She sat in Nyl's lap happilly and drew a quick sketch of her very rough sketch of a rose and handed it to her happilly.
