Plusle came back with the pokeball. Cody took the ball and picked up the mouse pokemon. "Thank you buddy." he said and sent out Flareon. She stretched and looked at Cody curiously.

"I mean... See this Vulpix?" Cody asked as the Vulpix who ran next to him slowly approached. "He..." Cody reached in his bag and gave the pokemon a Sitrus berry. "All he wanted was some food. Apparently he was hurt in battle. See the cut on his ear and the way he walks?" The Vulpix turned her head and stumbled away after licking Cody's hand for any berry residue. "I have a connection to her. I know exactly what she wants and how she is feeling."
