Yea that's what I meant by state hopping. For the US the distance covered just travelling across states is the same as most people in Europe and Asia {not China} spend travelling to different countries XD
Well Yin Asia is like Europe in that every country is different. Thailand is really different to Malaysia and they're neighbours. Japan is similar, but has a noticeable difference to Korea. Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines... all can be individually distinguished. Well, not sure about Viet/Cambodia/Laos to be honest, but eh sweatdrop Of course, if you're in China, everybody speaks Chinese and all cities look the same {some regions have natural beauty and are prettier} and there's less variation, about the same amount of variation as the US I'd say.

I saw a map similar to this but drawn during the Cold war era. It was hilarious. Great Britain was grossly enlarged, Japan was labelled "Nissan Corporation", China was labelled "Their China", Taiwan was labelled "Our China" {and quadrupled in size), Australia was labelled "Kangaroos"... amazing.

Nah, I love rp-ing in Konoha...but then again that's also because I've met some awesome people there! Plus that allowed me to throw a twist into my character that I really am having fun with ^_^

It's pretty funny.
Well gais, I'm off to explore the true art of horseback riding.
