I think I need a new computer. The damn monitor keeps jumping into a weird yellow tint and going back to normal after a while, and then going back to yellow a few seconds later. Or the monitor just dies altogether. And the system files are just falling apart on this thing.

Reinstall your OS and consider buying a new monitor.

I dont have an OS disk to reinstall it. So I just figure its easier for me just to get a new computer altogether and buy an OS along with that because this one is easily obsolete by now anyway.

The contrast on this thing is like a second brightness adjust. It doesnt really do anything other than make it even darker than zero brightness.

That's pretty much how all contrast is. I probably should have said something more like "adjust the color settings to zero".
