Bakura was quickly at Rei's side. He pressed on her leg, where there was a deep stab wound. "s**t. Hold still. I'll get something to wrap around this..." He muttered, looking around to see if there was anything. There was a knock at the door, and the priest called, "Rei? Are you dead?" He wanted to see if it was okay for the others to enter. He had seen her fall and didn't know if she was alive or not.

"If I was dead I wouldent answer You dumb s**t!" she called out to the priest. "Go the hell away!....Unless you have bandages...Them you can come in...."

There was a murmur from outside as Mahado asked anyone if they had bandaged. After that, there was no sound. Presumably, because nobody had bandaged. Bakura left and came back shortly, ripping something that may have been a shirt into shreds. He pushed the skirt of Rei's dress up so that he could better see the wound, and began to wind the clumsy strips around it. "Will we have to go back to the palace?"

"I don't know what happened to me." Bakura muttered once Rei's leg wound was wrapped up. He placed a hand on his forehead, closing his eyes tightly. "I thought I was back in the modern world. It was very cold." He didn't understand what had gone on, but he had been in the palace one moment and then was suddenly swallowed up by darkness the next. Hours had passed for him, with nothing to do but walk. The shadows surrounded him and he couldn't see any end. He thought he was going mad. And then he was suddenly in front of a bleeding Rei. She said he 'couldn't remember for a while.' What did that mean? Had he lapsed into some weird state of mind? Did that have to do with the overpowering urge he had to kill Rei still? "I feel like I'm going out of my mind..."

Rei sighed softly "The priest mahado had banished your soul from you body. Apparrently there was two souls in your body." She reached up and softly kissed him agian. "I was so worried..."
((It be funny if that urge to kill her turned sexual....))

Me: Whaaat? You're enough of a slut what with the pharaoh thing. Can't you stick with your wife? Besides, Nanu won't like you.]
Bakura kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm sorry. I wish things weren't so screwed up. I say we go to the palace, get the kids, and then leave. We should try to get settled down out of the pharaoh's reach as soon as we can."

Bakura sighed. "Yeah, I know." He said, and then a deep fear settled in his stomach. How could he had forgotten about the conditions under which Atem had proposed to Nanu? He looked away from Rei, feeling mightily ashamed of himself. Before he could think of a way to phrase it lightly, he felt as though someone else was speaking, which surprised him greatly. "I had sex with the pharaoh."

"I know." Rei said simply "The pharoh said he had druged you and that his daughter had caught you all." She looked to him "It wasent your fault bakura.Im not mad."

Bakura looked up at Rei, tears falling from his eyes. Despite his strong emotions that had brought the tears, his voice came out as a growl, anger lacing it. "You should be. If you had done the same, I would tear your throat out. I would carve your genitalia out, I would make you watch as I killed your children. The floors would be stained with your blood." He bowed his head, trembling, his hands clenching into fists in his hair.

Well that had shocked rei. Wraping her arms around bakura she gently started to rock him "your not feeling ok are you?"

Bakura shivered, shaking his head. When he spoke, his voice was back to normal, but it was shaking. "No... ever since I came back I've wanted to kill you. I don't even know why... I shouldn't have said that." He looked up, then kissed Rei passionately. He needed to remind himself who he was, who she was. His wife. He loved her. The thought of hurting her made him sick. He felt the need to move, to keep his mind otherwise occupied.

Rei had opene her mouth her speak when he kissed her agian. Shesmiled at passiontly returned her kiss holding him close.
