She ran her fingers through her hair and looked to the stars. "Indeed, they can be. I must admit my conversational skills have always been lackluster. I am most accustomed to being by myself, reading, practicing and performing needed tasks for myself or others. Do you enjoy helping others?"

The puppet nodded its head and scribbled on the parchment. -Indeed I do. Actually, that was why I died. I helped out a large group of people, but sacrificed myself to do so. Need less to say, Dr... Vice was disappointed.- After writing that it shrugged and looked over to where Vice was.
Vice was far enough to make hearing him difficult. The more he relaxed the more he began to change, turning from a humaniod looking creature to a creature that seemed somewhere in the middle of a dragon and a human.

Looking at him with sympathetic eyes, considering reaching out to him, but she realized it was likely an old pain for which he would not want comfort. Nodding her head, she happened to look toward Vice. "In your opinion .. is he alright?"

The puppet shrugged once again and wrote on the paper. -You knew he was part dragon, did you not? Rare breed from what the higher-ups told me. Normally he can supress his dragon side, but sometimes it forces itself out. He'll be alright, just a bit grouchy.-
Suddenly the output of power that Vice let out skyrocketed, making the area around him distort and the ground under him crack apart. Despite what was happening to him, Vice seemed not to notice... perhaps he was even sleeping.

She nodded. "Aye, that I did. Though .. I do not know much about him, I like to .." she stopped, seeming somewhat uncomfortable for a moment, which was in reaction to being able to feel Vices energy. Taking a deep breath, she again smiled to her company. "If you two are brothers .. are .. or were you of the same race?"

The puppet tilted its head as it seemed to look at her, then scribbled onto the parchment again. -No. All of his blood-family died long ago. We are brothers simply because he decided that we were close enough to be brothers... brothers by choice, if you will. He is a creature of the dark, I am an angel.- He stopped writing for a second, then continued after having a thought. -Two things: One, why is it that you stopped your last sentence abruptly? Two, what were yuo going to say?-
Vice began to grow very quickly; becoming not only larger than a normal dragon within a few seconds, but also longer and covered with oddly-placed spikes.

Inhaling deeply, she bobbed her head. "I like to know about others. Despite there being differences, there are similarities. I can learn more about people and about myself by knowing even the simplest of things. I stopped speaking because I can feel his energy. It is .. different. Feeling the energies of others can be .. troublesome for me, I am sensitive." she said softly, almost apologetically.

With a shrug, the puppet simply walked over and put its hand upon her leg. Almost instantly a warm feeling passed from him and into her. It was not a type of magik, more like a skill he had always posessed whether he wanted it or not. It was a calming of the spirit, one which he could not control. It had helped others in the past, surely it would help her.
Vice stopped growing, almost twice the size of a large dragon and almost as long as a serpent. His wings wrapped around his body during the transformation, so their length couldn't be determined. His red eyes were open, but seemed to be blank. Then suddenly a loud growl could be heard... but it was not really a growl. It was a snore.

Blue eyes darted between both, she was wanting to watch Vice as he changed. She almost became nervous with the size and rapid rate of growth but between Kahzid not seeming bothered and the sense of warmth and calm from his touch, she gave a small smile to him by the time Vice finished changing. "He is sleeping. It seems rest was what he desired more than anything perhaps?" she said cheerfully to to him, feeling odd from the feeling but it with the way the energy was so friendly, it did not bother her.

The puppet nodded its head, suddenly hopping onto her lap so he could continue to feed the warmth into her, but also write. Bringing then pen to the parchment, he scribbled down his message quickly. -He does not normally sleep, so when he does it is probably a good thing. Even the most powerful of creatures weaken when they are sleep deprived.- The puppet shrugged its shoulders and waited a moment as the ink disappeared from the parchment. -So, Miss Ziven, how do you view a creature such as I?-

"Indeed, everyone must rest at some time in some way." she replied as he paused and wrote another message. It took every fiber of her being not to squish him in a warm, friendly hug, but she assumed he would not exactly appreciate that. Tilting her head a bit, she smiled and giggled. "I find you interesting. Is that what you mean?"

Looking up at her, the puppet shrugged a bit. -It's meaning is whatever you make it out to be... but your answer is a nice one.- After writing it suddenly went limp, dropping the pen into her lap and the parchment onto the floor. Why this happened one could not say, but after a minute or two it lifted its head once again and looked around.

Smiling serenely, she nodded when he finished writing his words. When he went limp, she squeaked and panicked, scooping him up in one arm, trying to get a better look. "Are you .. alright?" she asked, pausing only because she saw him lift his head a moment later. She smiled brightly again when he moved, she knew he must be alright if he was moving.

The puppet took a moment to itself before gathering up the parchment and pen and scribling something down. -Lost power for a moment... Sorry. It is hard to animate a body that should not be animated. Even a spell as powerful as the one Vice put on this body had limits to how well it works...-It waited for the words to disappear before writing something somewhat unexpected. -Care to see what my brother dreams about?-

She gave him a bit of a hug before gently setting him in her lap again. Her eyes filled with sympathy when he wrote his message. She nodded her head. "Is there no permanent solution that is more .. complete?" she asked curiously. Pausing for a moment before answering his second question. "I would feel violated if someone were to view my dreams without my prior consent, I would not do so to another. If there is something you wish to tell me, I would be happy to listen." she finished cheerfully, smiling to him.
