The wolf was focused on a the realm of scent as it ran, it was reveling in familiar and unfamiliar scents when it suddenly skidded to a halt with it's hackles up. It smelt the girl from yesterday, a series of cracks and pops sounded into the forest silencing nearby birds and Wolf placed his sunglasses over his eyes as his scarf wound itself around his face. Her scent suddenly seemed distractingly familiar. Without a second thought Wolf began treading in the direction of the scent, he conciously stepped on twigs so that any in the forest could hear his approach.

Wolf's nose twitched slightly beneath the scarf as he continued following the scent, his walk became nonchalant and relaxed. There was no point in giving away too much too soon after all. He shifted his right shoulder to move his katana slightly higher on his back and continued on, after a few more steps he began whistling to coax the birds into relaxing despite the noise he was making already.

A soft voice said in a raspy tone, I am Wolf, and you are? As Wolf stepped forward and paused to regard crystal his sunglasses slipped down slightly so that his golden slit pupiled eyes shone in the dappled sunlight of the forrest. His black scarf and long black coat hid most of his body and the only visible weapon he carried was his katana strapped diagonally across his back so that the hilt stood out over his right shoulder. The empty left sleeve of his coat hung at his side weighted in a manner that caused it to seem unaffected by wind.

Wolf laughed softly before saying As did I but the little red riding hood I knew did not fare well with that acquaintance. What was your friends name if I may ask? As he spoke his eyes flashed and crows feet appeared at the corners as he smiled at his joke. His body was relaxed for the moment but there remained a slight tension in his shoulders and legs.

Wolf laughed and said in a wicked tone, Ah yes, the unfortunate 9-lives. It seems she hit her ninth life a bit early. She was an interesting person. As he spoke his scarf seemed to awaken like a snake roused from slumber, it moved sluggishly and seemed to regard her before turning to Wolf. Wolf tilted his head as though listening to something before laughing and saying in a darker tone than he had a moment before used, Now, now Shadow, your pet died and your plans fell apart. You're dead I'm not going to kill just for you because you have some whim. As he spoke he removed his sunglasses and placed them in his pocket, his gaze was that of a predator now and it was clear by the slight warping of his features that a human form was not the most natural to him.

The scarf loosened from Wolf's face and dropped around his throat and shoulders, the end seemed to move like a serpent as Crystal spoke. As the scarf fell away from his face it revealed the grin of a lunatic, Wolf's sharp white fangs stood out as his wide eyes and intense expression betrayed his insanity. He moved forward slowly and licked his teeth as he did, he then said, I still remember the taste of his blood as I ripped his throat out and his surprise as I consumed his soul. I gave his mind a resting place out of the goodness of my heart though. Would you like me to do the same for you? Suddenly his tone changed and his eyes unfocused slightly as he said, This area is such an evil place, Shadow rested here and tainted all with his wickedness, but I purged Shadow and now I'll purge this land of all beings save the animals of mother. Would you like me to remove the taint from your soul and destroy you as well? I can give you a home for your mind much like I did Shadow. As he spoke the intensity returned to his eyes and a soft growly emerged from his throat even as something moved within the confines of his coat.

Wolf's teeth flashed as his right hand made a gesture before touching the hilt of his katana, he drew it slowly before saying, I'm perfectly sane, I'm just the only one that sees the taint in this place. As for the scarf I told you I gave Shadow's mind a home after I consumed his soul. As he unsheathed his blade Wolf's grin widened and his tounge lolled out of his mouth as he altered his grip on the blade so that he held it backhanded. His eyes began to take on a slight hint of red as he began walking forward.
