The Forgotten2005 dante just to let you know that the french is the onyl country in the world to have a forien legion and it is also the last to enter in a war and the first out i know some french people who are brave but the goverenment is what we call the cowards you also relize the only times the french won a war was when they had a girl who was being lead by GOD? it is said ((true story)) that she was able to look into the future to see what will happen and planed from that when people ask she said god let her see and then they burned her for witchcraft So your saying that its better to rush into a war and have 90% of the troops killed than be cautious and make sure your people dont die? Seriously, you wanna play the 'lead by god' card re-read any one of Bush's speaches first "God is on our side" "We are fighting with God" "God shall help us prevail" its all there. and you know what, I'd like to just point out for a second that some of what Bush says, if not all of it was said almost exactly the same in a previous war, all-be-it in german in the 1940s. Why should the French get involved in all our wars, why should england get involved in all the american crap? America decides their running out of oil and wants saddams so they say saddam is evil and must die ((even though a couple years before they were supplying Iraq with weapons)) so they ask to send the english in? do you know how many english were killed by stupid american soldiers ((just to clarify not calling americans stupid just some of their soldiers, again not all but some)) War isn't a good thing and just because you dont start it first or join in with the bombing doesnt make you a coward, in fact I'd say it was braver of them to stand up to the americans when they were asking for the support in bombing iraq because of WMD's, especially since the only proof they had was a napkin with "iraq has Weapons of Mass Distruction" written on it in Bush's hand writing ((ok thats an understatement but the point is the intelligence was crap.))

hm...well I never liked Bush, but I like people who stereotype others even less, especially those that start to stereotype Americans, not saying that Dante was, but it gets quite annoying how uneducated and dumb people are...completely unrelated rant.
And also, it isn't that we're running out of oil, it's that some a** hole decided that we need a corn based ethanol for our oil, I'm sorry but can't we make ethanol from other products as well? also the oil companies clean out their stuff conveniantly around the same time every year which creates an artificial shortage so that none of the "newer" and "less pollutant" oil gets contaminated by the last batch.

ok re-post the first part of that statement in english and I'll address it.
are you aware that the times that France has called for our help are times when they had no other choice and were pretty much allready gone? unlike this crappy iraq war when it haddn't started and the whole of the UN was asked to join in.
By Our I mean England, I dunno who you mean.
((Incase I sound racist towards Americans: I am honestly not racist towards americans, I am not racist at all, I just really dont like war mongering idiots like Bush and I cant stand racists that judge entire countries by their government.))

I don't think you sound racist, I can't stand Bush either, he's basically using our presidency for his own designs. I mean, he used the war so he could get a second term and now look, when he goes, we can't just stop this, it'll look like we're running away with our tail between our legs like Vietnam all over again, he's committed us into something unneccessary, after thousands of people have given their lives for this. this also has something to do with his father and Saddam's history as well.

it's true, it IS a dictatorship, it's just not been very obvious.
this war, apparently ((I dont know all that much about it or vietnam)) is just like vietnam except there is a lot less outrage this time and less reporters.

Gumballs???? iraq might have been a dictatorship but why do WE have to fight in there as well? first, the government allows a buttload of people to die during the september 11 attack just so we can get the public riled up and ready to go to war. then when we were looking for supposedly ossama bin laden (who i think is working with the CIA still), all of a sudden we get these bogus reports linking saddam and iraq with the taliban, even though UN representatives have been through there and have proven many a-times that the reports that there are WMD's are false. STILL bush decided to go in and attack, at first claiming to be looking for WMD's, then we're trying to "liberate" the people of iraq. of course when we get there, these same iraqis we were trying to liberate welcome us with bullets and carbombs. and understandably so, how would you feel if foreigners try to come in and take over your country? cuba has a dictatorship as well, but we don't mess with their affairs (we tried, we all know how THAT turned out). how much money have we invested on this war? 9 billion? how many troops have we lost? hundreds of thousands? and what do we have to show for it? the iraqi economy is shot, their government is in disarray and the people are suffering the most. how has our visit there made things better for people? i don't understand why the american goverment feels the need to police everyone while neglecting our own issues at home. where was the government when hurricane katrina hit? we pour in resources to the warfund and our schools suffer, ranking us lower on education than we should be. not only that but our image to the rest of the world is justifiably screwed up because of our self-righteous attitude. ever since that whole "manifest destiny" bullshit we've been trying to take over the world. rolleyes

Does anyone remember the TWIN TOWERS? They WERE two buildings... really BIG buildings that were destroyed by terrorists. The tallest buildings in the world in fact... Yes, well the Iraq thing sprung from that. HOWEVER, we attacked afganistan first, then Iraq, and next we will move on to North Korea!! 3nodding
And hell, I don't really care what reasons you spout, BUSH DON'T HAVE s**t! He's a puppet! If the president had any real power then I'd eat my own pants.

I agree that when some one attacks your country you should retaliate, but firstly they coulda prevented the attack, admittedly it woulda cost the lives of all those on the planes, but I dont think they had much of a chance anyway, and second you retaliate against the people that did it, not their country ((unless the country did it)) and definatyely not another county all toghether.
