I hate to break this blood angel thing up, but I have a few questions regarding the "Soul Drinkers" chapter.
1. Are they playable?
2. Are they Actual SM or are they chaos? Since I saw the novels I thought they looked really cool, but upon reading the back of the novel Chapter War it said that the Soul Drinkers had a corrupted geneseed, and were hunted for it, then stabilised it, and got new recruits, but the recruits wanted to fight the Emporer. I never got the chance to read the novels, so I was hoping someone could tell me.

Ok, no there are no Soul Drinker rules. However you could make them using a chaos list, maybe a marine list, but chaos seems more appropriate.

As for your second question. Theyre still marines ofcourse, theyre just a renegade chapter. So if you made them with the chaos list, obviously you wouldnt use demons, or possessed, or things like that. The only reason youd use something like demonic gifts would be if you were representing some of the main characters from the first book.

Or have counts-as Khorne bezerkers maybe?

-Mykal

Soul Drinkers werent very khornate. Also their chapter master is a psyker, and I think the khorne list doesnt allow for psychic powers or sorcery.

No, but I think that they can be taken as Elites and still have a Sorceror as a leader, assuming one plays Undivided.

I was thinking the Khorne would be useful to represent the "Death Company" equivilant or something equally brutal.

With a "Codex" or Black Legion list, you could take Khorne Berzerkers with a Sorceror Lord.

I've always been inclined to run a "Codex" Chaos force with cult troops all painted in a uniform paint scheme.

One of a million projects on my plate.

How does that work, to make "Codex" armies? Does that mean that you make up your own army using say, Dark Angels rules, or does it mean that you make up your own rules?

If you use a power fist/thunder hammer and frag grenades what Initiative do you have 1 or 10?

It just means using the Codex completely as is, without modification or special rules. For Space Marines, it literally means a Codex Astartes Chapter, sans-deviation, like Ultras. In this instance, I'm using it to refer to a Chaos Space Marine army that doesn't use Legion rules and just takes the Codex exactly as is (which is actually the Legion rules for the Black Legion).

Where are the rules for Furious assaults skill?

Universal Special Rules, Core Rulebook pg. 74. It is mistakenly labeled "Furious Charge."

As per the Power Fist description on pg. 46, Initiative 1, ignoring any bonus from cover, grenades, wargear, etc.

It´s another way around mate, Furious Charge is the correct name for that
special rule, GW made a huge error of accidently naming is "Furious Assault"
in the codex: space marine.

Attention Blood Angels players!

Get this comming issue of WD and the next if you want your codex. They will get a offical one sooner or later, but this is fully legal.

Hmmm.... interesting. :-/
According to WD´s BA-codex it states that rules for certain units, gears and rules can be found on Codex: Dark Angels.
Have to wait for the second part to make any bloody sence on that statement. ninja

Suprisingly I had a correct quess of GW giving the same rule that wulfens have when there is no Runepriest in 6" of them. O.O
I am a medium. :O

Makes another quess.

GW lowers the prizes of theyr miniature range! 4laugh

Inspired somewhat by pirates of the carribean , i've decided to design a chapter of marines dedicated to privateering. As their favourite activity is boarding actions and planetfalls, drop pods are heavily present, (in space boarding torpedoes). Their doctrine encourages ccw+boltpistols for tactical squads, furious charge also is in character - so traits include take fight to them and no mercy, no respite. Any ideas for suitable drawback? lots of transports excludes flesh over steel, so eye to eye or aspire to glory?

I would say aspire to glory giving them a fresh and rougish feel, further though Id say play them as renegades due to this. Not the astertes thing to do, but something Ive thought of doing with chaos but probably never will.
