DarkElf27 Syumerrt Random thought here, so if we trained our military like they train the guards in 40k, and we had commissars would our military be better? Well, think of it this way. Did it work too well for the Russians in WWII? The answer is no. Hell no.

Did it work too well for the Russians in WWII? The answer is no. Hell no. Point being, it definitely wouldn't work as well as the current military.

It would work for China or India.
I mean, that's how Africa fights all the time. I think they could do well with some Commissars.

Wars in Africa are described as "being fought with modern weapons, WWI tactics and pre-Napoleonic medical care"
India has a lot of people but their standing army is of good quality, they were a colony of the UK after all.

India also have Gurkhas / Gorkha regiments , and they are rightly feared by anyone facing them.

Texinadawolf India also have Gurkhas / Gorkha regiments , and they are rightly feared by anyone facing them. When sent to the Falklands the Argies were scared shitless when facing them, mainly because of their Khukri knives and the still practiced by the Commonwealth bayonet charge.
