Maddy did a quick head count as everyone gathered around.
"This is a good turn out. Awesome."
She clapped her hands together.
"Ok, listen up. I'm sure a few of us have heard of Professor Sycamore's research on Mega Evolution, by now." She began. "Honestly, this research interests me and he's looking for candidates to help him with it. His lab is in Lumiose City. I sent him a few e-mails and he's agreed to see us and explain the concept."
She reached into her pocket and pulled out her eye patch, putting it on over her left eye.
"We're not bad guys anymore. It'd be good to have some friends in high places, and Pokemon Professors are important people."
A smirk stretched across her lips.
"What do you guys think?"

Allen looked over Maddy curiously, "How much does he know about us? You know, the whole refugees from the law part." Though he had definitely heard about the concept of Mega Evolution, and it sounded interesting, but they needed to be careful. Especially Allen.

Maddy frowned slightly and looked at Allen.
"I told him only what he needs to know. I will tell him our story eventually, though. I don't want to be dishonest with him."
She let out a small sigh and looked them all over once more.
"Let's get going then!"
With that, she lead them from Shabboneau Castle and they exited Camphier Town through the eastern exit.

Allen nodded and followed along. "I mean. I wasn't trying to be a downer." He shrugged, oh well, at least he got his answer.

"(I wonder.. If I learn to Mega Evolve will I be able to mega evolve myself?)" She wonders as she follows Maddy. "(I guess I'll ask him myself.)"

"Well, I guess that's our cue to get going... come on hammerhead, Lets Go!" Dimitri said to his hard-headed rock pokemon in a commanding tone before he walked off to follow Maddy along with the rest of the group. Following his trainers command, Cranidos began to follow his trainers lead, the hard-headed rock pokemon was hopping around while headbutting the air as he continued to slowly walk behind his trainer in an excited manner.

"Yeah, it's a nice little town. Doing very bad financially, though." Maddy said to Brian. "We're doing the whole town a huge favor by fixing up the castle."
She then turned to Misery.
"That'd be pretty cool if you could. But if you need Dark with you to do it, then at least it's an excuse to get him back here."
The walk to Lumiose City was pretty short. They entered the city through the southern entrance which, according to Maddy's map of the city, placed them fairly close to Sycamore's Lab. She let out a sigh.
"The map doesn't show exactly where it is, but the lab should be quite massive..."
The streets were quite busy tonight, Maddy noted. She was glad she wore her eye patch. You could never know who was watching through the crowds.
After a few minutes of pushing through the streets, they came up to a tall gate that surrounded a fairly large building. A black metal sign hanging on the gate said "Professor Sycamore's Pokemon Lab" in elaborate gold letters.
Maddy was pretty impressed by the building.
"I've seen the labs owned by other famous Pokemon Professors, and they're not nearly this big." She noted.

"Yeah, well, Professor Sycamore is a very extravagant man." He spoke from many of the things the tabloids read over the past few years. "Notable things, surely." He chuckled, eying over the building and it's differences from the surrounding buildings.

"(Wowww....)" Misery mutters, seeing the building. She hadn't been to this part of town yet. "(I wonder what a Professor is like...)"

Along with the rest of the group, Ace took a brief glance at the entrance of Professor Sycamore's Lab. If anything, the whole place was a bit 'gaudy' for her taste. "At least we know where the professors spend their funds," she joked.

Me: Well, I suppose its better that the lab be in a city with a gym. Most of them aren't.
