The OOC wouldn't be active without all of the animosity. Take it with a grin and get on with your fight.

I brought it up, as a response to the suggestion that Bojouka brown was a joke style character. I felt that the comedy was based in a racial stereotype that I felt was uncouth. However, as I said before, its not a big deal.

There are much more important things to raise concerns about as far as this hobby.

None of them are really paid any attention to, when they want to OOC complain or troll about trivial things because they are bored at home and tired of feeding their pet snakes.

There are def much more important things.
But have you not seen Black Dynamite? Its a gag on the 70's in every way….Kung Fu treachery man.But while he may be a stereotype of the 70's it does not make him racist.

Im not racist, I don't hate anyone because of their ethnic background and to do so is just plain ******** stupid. We're all human. If I dislike someone its based off of person and not 'color' as its so commonly referred to as.

That is certainly true.

Black Dynamite I felt was more 70's blacksploitation than a negative stereotype of the modern black man. Besides Vintricts fight and this one with Hael, I haven't read anything about your character so for me to suggest that he is more a negative stereotype of the modern black man than an endearing look of how blacks were presented in film in the 70's would be erroneous at best.

Well [going off le dictionariez]:

1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

So it's not just dislike of other races that constitutes as racism. And on a subconscious level, everybody is racist because nobody's been raised in a bubble where they weren't exposed to racism.

Ever been in a place full of white people and had a thought about it? Or made a joke or assumption based on a particular race being present like various Hispanic races? You were racist when you did that, even if you weren't like.. walking around yelling "<******** SPICS AND GOOKS, SHITHEAD CRACKERS, GHWEGHGHGHG"

Likewise, though I was born and raised in an area with a lot of diversity and have had plenty of friends of different backgrounds, I'd be full of s**t if I told you I didn't feel awkward being in all black neighborhoods for example.

The ability to own up to our inadequacies and flaws is what allows us to own them. Pretending they don't exist lets them control and dictate us.
