Thema hugged Larve the second the door opened. "I saw blood! I was worried that someone died!"
Mell came over and pet Thema on the head. "It's okay, we're all okay." she looked at Larve to see if he knew about this.

larv ebegan tapping into peoples minds
" shadow...someone named james....and wait....alice and leon too. this 'james' character is taking children. he is doing something to them...their eyes...they glaze over after james says something to them..." larve said and opened his eyes staring at mell.
he held thema tightly to him
" it's okay hun. it'll be okay."

She fell into a deep sleep. She soon was woken up by a crying baby. SHe walked over to the nursery, Mara needed a diaper change. She sighed and brought her over to the changing table, she put Mara into a pink onezy that looked like a dress at the bottom and a new diaper. She took Mara to the main room and set her in her glider. She laid on the bed and closed her eyes, still a small bit tired.

Mell's eyes widened. Her automatic reaction was to check on the baby who was soundly sleeping in her bassanet. "Are Alice and Leon alright? Where are they now?"

Moria continued to scream when Destina then noticed something about the young toddler. "Shadow dear? Look." She whispered as she undid part of the girls dress to reveal claw marks in her flesh.
"Yeah, especially if he has his father's charm." Analise told him with a light laugh, finishing her meal before she set the empty bowl on the table beside her.

larve's eyes widened as he watched the horrific black magic take affect on alice's body. he was watching through leon's eyes. he say her then scream. her body returning to normal except the language on her back.
" their room, she is cursed. she was furious at 'james' for taking jacklyn. she fed the black runes that were on her body. she fed them until they could mark her. her back is covered with inscription." larve said.

shadow took her dress all the way off to see more. he looked her up and down
" what the hell are they?!" he asked.
nick smiled and got up. he picked mara up from her glider and began rocking her in the rocker. he made funyn faces at her. trying to get her to laugh again.
mark blushed lightly and got up taking her bowl with his into the kitchen.

Mara giggled wildly. She loved those faces. She squired in happiness. She wiggled her arms and feet as she watched.
Hollis, once again, was asleep on the bed.

nick bounced her gently on his knee. then kissed her forehead and laid her down in her bassenette.

Mara quickly fell asleep in her cradle.
Hollis covered herself in the silk blanket and snored lightly.

Mell hugged Larve. She knew it must be a horible sight and wante dot comfort him.
"Is this because she helped me see??" Thema pleaded, "Can we help her??"

Hollis slept for another hour, being woken up be her alarm. She got up and went into the nursery. She picked up Mara and took her to the rocker. She breast fed Mara and pulled her shirt back on. She took mara to the other room, carefully laying her in her glider. She got Mara's blankie and laid it over her.

"I don't know! Claw marks maybe? Oh god, Shadow, someone's trying to hurt our baby..." Destina exclaimed as she held Lillith to her chest tightly, choking back tears, not wanting to lose any of her children.
Analise smiled before she picked up Julian and set him on the ground, before he stood up all on his own, his dark hair glistening in the light as his bright blue eyes sparkled. She smiled down at him before holding onto his hand and leading him out the door, giggling as she watched her son walk with her.
