Garin walked along with her.
No one replied.
"It doesn't smell like there's been anyone here for at least a month..." Garin said.

"Where could they have gone?" Aquaria asked. She didn't like this, not one bit. "Are you sure this is the right place? Maybe we should ask around in the town..."

"Because there should be records or something here," garin replied, his voice sharp. "But if you think this is a waste of time you can wait outside." Then he walked farther into the house.

Aquaria walked in with Garin, looking around. He had mentioned that nobody had been there in a month, yet he knew the clan was gone...Who had been here that recently?
"Hmph," Sanvi huffed and followed Aquaria. She spotted what looked like a library and study. "Over here," she called to the others.

Garin walked in to the library and looked around at what was there.

Aquaria found a thick, dust-covered ledger. She flipped through the pages and saw diagrams, charts, and what looked to be diary entries. She waved Garin over to look at it.

Garin walked over to what Aquaria was looking at. "what's that?" he asked.

GimmeHug Sai looked at her and blinked "Maybe.." he said and walked into the house.
Kiara felt a bit awkward going into the house, and walked in slowly. She looked around and saw the rooms, the ceiling and all other stuff.

Aquaria showed Garin the book. "It looks like a diary of some sort," she replied. "It might have a record of when you arrived and what your father told them."

"What are you talking...?" Garin said and looked at the title. "This is a novel," he said, showing the cover to her. "Fictional, and when I say my clan, I mean my clan. As in the one I was born into."

Aquaria looked down, embarrassed.
Sanvi found a few interesting books, all scientific records, but she didn't think any of them would be useful.

"Don't worry about it," Garin said and kissed her forehead. "Just keep looking." he began to walk around the room and skim the stuff that was there.
