Listen, I've been thinking alot and I'm very certain that the reason new members that joined here didn't post much was due to a couple of things.
1. They were intimidated when they saw the threads and how much we had written in them, they felt like they were plunged into deep waters.
2.Many of our Members hardly lifted a finger to help the newcomers and we were in small tight groups.
Now since it would take forever to clean up this guild, I'm thinking of just recreating it with the same basic topics from scratch in a new guild. It will still be RDS but as sort of Continue from this one.
Does it sound like a good idea?

I think you're probably right with those points, and starting over may provide more of a chance for people to get introduced properly. Before I broke for school, I couldn't locate anyone (new or old) in the mass of pages and posts here. I'd be up for trying to start over.

Hi, i'm new...as in I literally just opened my acceptance PM. Anyways since your threads are visible to non-members I took the liberty of reading one of your somewhat short threads, The Boneyard I think? Well I have a quick question about how time is percieved in the IC becuase I saw a post that refferenced back to a post that dated two years old in real time but was said to be an event that happened fifteen years ago...If someone could sorta clear that up for me then that would be great.
BTW what is all this talk about up and moving? I just got here. lol confused
Edit: Scratch that question about the time thing. Just read the top annoucment explaining it all.

Hello there! Right now there's a bit of plotting as to how to get the activity back up. Once some of the crew members start posting, we'll get the results of that. Are you brand new to Gaia, or just to the guild?

We do open/freestyle rp here. The idea is that we create threads that are a place, a room, if you will. Anyone can enter any thread and either join up with active RP that's going on there or, if there is no active RP in that thread, they can start up with something else.
Generally a thread is no longer considered to have active RP if the last persons posting there have not been posting for 24 hours or more.
Additionally, if you and another group of RPers are posting in the same thread, you do not actually have to interact with them, though it can get confusing if many people are doing separate things in the same thread.

Thanks for the welcomes. Umm, i'm not new to Gaia but this is a new account. You see I joined Gaia about a year ago but never really got into it but I RPed on another site. I am really just new to the guild.
I sorta know what you are talking about with the rooms thing, ANP. The Site I RP on alot has had numerouse debates on setting up such a forum called a Persistent world. We've tried about five times and each has failed I think just becuase it it such a large and varied community and people try to please everyone. The concept of areas or "rooms" was brought up receantly and it seems you guys have a more or less PW type RP going on here. Good work.
So does this revamp thing mean that posting IC would be sort of pointless ATM?
