Ceon instantly knew she was lying to him. She was shaking, her face had turned read, and he could see a bead of sweat on her brow. He would let it slide for now. "Listen, why don't you come to my apartment? It's much safer than the park at this time of night. I'll introduce you to my family."

Luther walked slowly into the park, his hands twitching slightly. He had spilled blood tonight, not the ordinary business like blood, the passionate murder that he had not felt for a long time, killing for the sake of killing, taking a life on a whim, it warmed him inside, and made his cold and dead heart beat again. He could feel the Void inside his veins, and needed another, just one more fix. He found a worthy human, and looked into her eyes, his eyhes glinted amber and blue in a strange combo, and the Woman smiled him and fllowed him to the clearing. He looked at her, his smile mounting, and pulled his hands out of his pockets, the two Talon like full cover thumb rings glinting in the pale beige moonlight. He brought them in a neat X shape, the woman remained standing for the briefest of moments, and then fell to the ground, blood pumping from her chest and stomach. He flexed his hands, and the blood slowly started to rise from the ground. He twitched again, and it quickly shot towards him, going through his skin and directly into his veins, he glowed for a moment, and then fell to his knees, the raw power coursing through him.

She nearly spoiled the game. Mere inches away from topping off a bench and touching the dirty ground. Not much could distract Cosette from her playful task at hand, But blood certainly could. Hot and flowing, carried on the wind like rich incense that the pale blond simply could not resist. With one sweeping glance of those blue eyes, She found the source. He was there, standing over the poor destroyed body while the blood furiously pumping like some gruesome fountain. Her first thought was that he was being awfully wasteful. Just a thrill kill, with no true need other that to sedate his own twisted wants.
Before Cosette could managed a word of scorn towards him for all the wasted blood, the taunting crimson began to rise and dissolve right into his body, so clean and quick. It must make things terribly easy. Oh, She wanted to know how he did that! She was instantly intrigued, demanding information like some curious child that realize their own good. “Oh my, You sure do have issues.” It was the first indication she was there, starring at him with a set of brilliant baby blue eyes. Her small white figure held deathly still, standing atop a park bench.

Luther looked up, his fringe completely covering his eyes, panting like a dog. He brushed himself off, and shivered slightly, the blood got into the system faster when he did that, the only slight problem was that it left him drained of energy for a few minutes, but he put up with it because he was allowed to be as messy with the kill as he wanted. "My issues only stem from deep hatred of those who pursue me and tell me I have issues." He grinned, his crimson teeth glinting in the small and shadowy clearing. He then saw she was a member of the Coven, and sighed, he had been hoping for another kill before the clock struck midnight. "Ah, I see that our Coven has started to recruit Children, how...intriguing." He smiled jadedly, and took off his top hat, bowing stiffly. "I am Luther Crepsly" He said, his voice oozed with malevolence and false charm.

“Well, All those people you go and tear up are probably right. Ever consider that?” Despite all the twisted violence the stranger has demonstrated or his unsteady composure, Cosette appeared completely at ease. She’d seen worse that him, been through worse, Done worse. Besides, if the fellow vampire was going to go slash her up in to messy Cosette pieces, chances were…he probably would have already done so. “Well, for your information, Luther Creepy” She paused, allowing herself a humorous moment. She flashed a smile that was tainted by fang after she deliberately mispronounced such a name, before she continued on talking. She liked talking. Especially when the subject revolved around her. “I’m not a child. I’m just cute, charming and absolutely adorable. All wrapped up in one killer little bundle. And oh dear me… I just can’t help it.” She wasn’t being in the least bit sarcastic either. Completely serious as the vain little vampire hitched her nose into the air like she was the greatest thing to grace the planet. “Oh, I’m Cosette “ She said, cheerful to spill her name. She held out slender white hand, fully expecting him to march over and shake hers. Even plant a little kiss like a good gentleman. After all, It would have been the proper thing to do.

Luther grimaced at his old nickname of Luther Creepy, it had haunted him for years back in the days when he was just a Servant at the Freak Show, they called him it because he was quiet, and above all, always having violent outburts. He looked at the hand and gave himself a slight smile internally, finally a lady among the social misfits that littered this accursed city. He kissed it like a gentleman, because he was taught to be polite and coherent towards members of Nobility, and this girl was clearly Nobility, delicate, self centered, and oozing with a rude and impatient demeanor, he was used to this kind of stuff. He clicked his heels, and replied in his most lucid and posh accent "Charmed to meet you." He looked around again, and shivered, "May I be inquired to ask why a lady such as you is shivering out in this cold and desolate park?"

Oh, He called her a lady. Cosette decided that very instant that she liked him, Taking an immediate fancy to his good sense of manners. His smile was wickedly appealing concealing all sorts of sinful promises. Although, His teeth weren't the most wonderful, but she could manage to over look that devastating flaw for a bit of company. After all, It had been quite a while since someone had treated poor Cosette like the perfect little lady she was. So far, This city had been downright horrible to her, Both it's dangerous inhabitants and it's meager ability to keep her entertained. “I was so very bored” She mused, Heaving an overly dramatic sigh that belonged much better for show upon the stage. “And the city is loud. All those deathtrap cars, blazing advertisements, and crowds really do begin to nag at your sanity after a while. It's never quiet here. All So loud.” Pale hands were buried beneath layers of luscious golden girls, clamped over her ears and silencing out any city noises that managed slither into the park.
For the briefest instant, Cosette appeared entirely distracted. It was the first hint that there was something not-quite-right about the blond girl. A broken mind behind the porcelain beauty. After a few more traumatic moments of her complaining about the dreadful noise in a mumbled tone that almost sounded French, Those pretty blue eyes suddenly flickered back upon his figure. Somehow managing to focus her one track mind back to Luther, straighting up and dropping her hands limb at her sides. Recovering remarkably well, without any hint something had been astray, Once more cheerful in demeanor. “And...You. What were you doing here? Hungry? There are plenty of places in this dirty city to cause a mess and instead you picked one of the... if not the only tidy and quiet place in this horrid city.” She peered over his shoulder at the mangled corpse and then planted her hands on her hips, clearing disapproving of his actions. She nearly matched his hight, Still standing upon the bench. Proud to be able to look him straight in the eyes.

Luther smiled again, he knew he had bad teeth, he was a Victorian gentleman, what was he supposed to do about it? He nodded whilst she went on her small rant about New York, frankly he agreed, the only other City he had been in was London, the perpetual smaller brother of this monstrous hive of a city. He shook his head, "Well, even though you are right that there are many better places to kill, I felt inclined to do it here. I can throw my bodies in the lake when I am done, but more importantly the view can be splendid on less tepid nights, and the fact that it is a clean and pleasant place is the precise reason why I chose it to do my little hobby, this worthless little dot on this embarrassing and flamboyent Country needs to be as filthy and decrepid on the outside as it is on the inside."
He hadn't reacted to her insecure moment, partly because that Noblity who did that sort of thing were simply eccentric, but mostly because he himself had once had those types of episodes, the sudden snap of the brain as it concentrates on all the bad things, and the fear you suddenly possess, your mind playing sick little games with you, he had long ago learned to control these moments. "I can see that you do not like my method of killing, and at times even I am disgusted by it, but I find humans, repulsive." He shook his head sadly, his skin even paler than usual, the glint in his eyes replaced by pure sadness. This nice Noble girl seemed to understand because she clearly wasn't from this period in time, but she had hitched a ride on her curse into it, as had he. He looked up, his eyes twitching, his hands forming knuckles.
"The amount of friends, comrades, and family I have lost to humans is uncountable, and not even Vampires, humans kill each other all the time, like horrid little cowards, their own neurocise causing them to hurt those around them, making them see enemies on every corner, making them fight about the most stupid little things and occurences. Vampires are not like that, hell, even the Lycans have their own dignity. They have stolen everything in my life, including my mortality. I see in one human the many humans that have killed those dearest to me, the ones I have loved. Even I, a rather strange character if I tell the truth, have had friends fall to them." He smiled sadly, his eyes unclouding and becoming the coherent things they were but moments before. He didn't usually have those moments, it was strange, seeing this one had provoked him somehow, but he shook it off, and smiled. "I think we should leave this area" He withdrew something from his pocket and threw it beside his victim, it was a pure black playing card, with a white Joker imprinted into the center. "My calling card" He said absent-mindedly.

Through the sweet smelling, quiet air, a metal on stone sound of footsteps clinked into the two vampires ears. "I hear the witty banter and sophisticated babble of people from the old world." Said a voice from the shadows of the bridge. there was no attempt to be silent. The footstep stopped When a rather tall (6 and a half feet almost) man wearing a deep green trenchcoat over his shoulders and a black shirt with a white stripe down the center where it zipped up stood infront of them. "I've met too many youngbloods lately. Its rather refreshing." Armand bent down over the body and crossed the womans arms. he stood back upright and looked at first the man, then the woman, noting their characteristics. though he had been a Duke, he did not flaunt it when unneccesary. however, his air of aristocracy did pervade his speech along with his rather spanish accent.

Luther at first did not notice Armand, he had been trying to maintain a noble and dignified air about him, and that meant being slightly unaware and snobbish to anyone. But he could also sense nobility in Armand, and sighed, he was hoping to be impolite and snide to at least one person tonight. He bowed again, making sure to keep the polite air whilst also trying to be slightly impolite; a difficult task for someone who wasn't used to talking to nobility, but Luthber could do it like a Human would breathe, he hardly knew he was doing it most of the time.

When Luther began his long, tragic and dramatic tale that wove all sorts of horrid crimes that the humans alone had committed, Cosette peered up at the star freckled sky; Clearly not paying much, if any attention to his prejudiced statements. However, her lips did twitch in the faintest, hinting at a sly smile that seemed to prove she was alone in on some inside joke. Cosette hadn't exactly been the model human. Despite her wealth, status, and beauty; she had managed to commit enough crimes to blemish her record for an eternity. One that she sure as hell wasn't going to live down. She had been quite the naughty little human and as it turned out, An even worse vampire. When he was done, She just smiled. All charm and show; pretending she had listened to the whole thing.
“Well, I still prefer that you not go and mess up the pretty little park. It's one place that I can manage to feel a bit at ease, Something I won't be able to manage very well if there are massacred dead bodies laying around. And If I do see any dead things around here, I'll know exactly who to blame, Mr. Creepy. Ugh, that would just be disgusting and I wouldn't be very happy. ” Her hands were still at her delicate slender hips, upholding that high strung and tenacious demeanor that she played so well. She watched with a pair of curious eyes when the 'calling card' was left. “Why would anyone ever want to call you?” She asked smoothly, sweet and childlike. It wasn't intended as an insult, Her tone lifted by a pleasing edge of humor however serious she might have been. Luther didn't quite seem the sort of man one might call up to chat and take out or tea and crumpets.
Before she could inquire on where her new friend Luther wished to go, desperately praying it wasn't the middle of downtown with all the dreadful noise and light , Another noise gathered her attention. Another vampire appeared and in that sum of a rash instant, She felt tiny. Even standing on the bench, Armand still manage to tower over her her petite 5 foot figure. And she didn't like it one bit. Crossing her arms over her chest like a stubborn child and scrunching up her button nose like she suddenly caught a bad smell. She didn't act any better behaved when he spoke, taking in his obvious Spanish heritage with a poorly concealed groan. When Luther was polite enough to bow to the new vampire, Cosette just starred, muttering quietly under her breath which resembled something like...What are you doing? You don't need to bow to...that.' “What's with the flux of redheads?” Cosette spoke suddenly, smoothly banishing any inappropriate behavior from the instant before. The blue eyes flickered from one vampire to the other. “It's bad luck you know. You redheads. Snatching all my precious luck. Oh, You'll both ruin me.” She spoke in a melodramatic tone, whimsical and playing up the show. “It's not healthy to be around the two of you. Oh my, I think I feel faint.” And then she spun with a white hand at her forehead and another at her chest; mocking perfectly as she swooned. She toppled off her claimed bench in one graceful flow, fully anticipating that one of the two redheads would rush to her aid and catch the poor damsel in distress.
