WE LIVE 10-15 FRIGGIN MINUTES AWAY! scream It's fun to stay at the convention site? That would be insane. Then again, the only convention I've been to was AX. LA is not the safest place past sunset. xd No, no it's not. xp xd

Skizzors Malaryush Zelyhon They just want to be first in line for the dealers room. Which I don't really understand either. I mean, I get there later and I can get in right away. But they feel the need to stand in line four hours before to be the first ones in. But...but... If you're not there first, you can miss out on thiiiiiiings!! gonk Things that get sold out! STUFF! CEEEEEEEEELS.... *sob* crying When Skizz found the cel table at Otakon.. Me: Ohh, pretty. Dad: ..? Me: They're all so cool~ Dad: You want one? Me: Yea-- (sees the price) ..'k, nevermind, let's go over there We just ran around the Dealer's Room forever and only ended up buying a couple things. I remember going to AX 2000, I think it was, and seeing a Gundam cel marked at $20k.

Work = DEATH! gonk I'm never going to wake up again. Skizzors THREEPARTS. Some people would be a lot cooler if they didn't exist. Four-square used to be fun.. Note to self: Do not do homework on bus, feeling dizzy is not good. And! In art class today, we had to start drawing these hanging scroll type things on rice paper.. we're doing them in pencil first. Then the outlines in black paint. Then, if we want to, color paint. When we started.. five minutes in, everyone's drawing. Mountains. Birds. Flowers. Trees. I have no clue what to do.. then. Then it dawns on me. KA-TA-MA-RI.

dot_com Suyo Anybody know where I can find an image of the case-insert thing for Zone of the Enders? Got the game without a box... and I figure I'll use one of my spare cases and print out the insert.

I built an Eva figurine and a little Zoids raptor figurine. That took me an hour though. It's so cute! And it comes with it's own little person too! heart
Mikashi and I watch all sorts of AMVs during Otakon and out of the convention. We download them from a site, and it's a pretty big thing. You get REALLY into it. We started out downloading them from things like Kazaa or WinMX, but in this site, they're rated, and they just get better and better. Some of these AMV's should have been commercials for games or openings of series. They're just spectacular and there's some crazy amounts of effort put into them. whee heart
I still like VHS tapes. They're an awesome deal at conventions! I get packs of them for so cheap! The Lain set was only $20. whee That and Japanese graphic novels. I got vols 2, 3 and 4 of Tokyo Mew Mew for about $3 each from a little bin, two of my favorite novels of RK for $10, and this funky RK guide, all in japanese for about...$7? Yeah, AX this year. whee I need to get a cable so I can transfer images from my memory card to my computer... I got to meet (and take pictures of scream ) Lanzer, L0cke, Ling, VO, and darknrgy. It was fun. L0cke told silly stories about Lanzer. whee whee Little model things are fun! I've got one from Ryuu Knight, a semi-obscure robot series that I absolutely love. I wish I could find more. gonk The ones I see on Yahoo Japan auctions go for like...$50 each. So...I stick with the little $10 Gundam figures. sweatdrop I first saw AMVs by downloading a few, years back, and I fell in love. gonk I wish I had the skill to make them; I've had ideas, but no know-how. I've got a bunch downloaded, but I haven't been getting new ones recently... Is that the AMV.org site you're talking about? I've downloaded a few there, but for some reason I used to always get dead links when I found an AMV I wanted, so I gradually stopped going. I was mostly getting them off of WinMX when I was getting them... I love getting neat, cheap stuff at cons. whee That's the biggest reason I attend, when I can. STUFF. heart
And the Eva set I got was like $12 or so...I think, if you have a KB Toys or a Toys R Us or something where you live, you can get Zoids and some other anime kits pretty cheap.
And how the heck did you get to meet all these people like VO and Ling??I effin LOVE that euphoria video. heart
