I think I still have a text file full of recommendations you've made in the past...but I'll still be sure to bug you when you get back, too. ninja The biggest problem I have with finding good AMVs is that most of the really good ones seem to be made to series I haven't seen, and almost nobody makes AMVs for some of the series that I really love. crying

Zelyhon dot_com Euphoria definetely deserves the #1 spot, but I get sort of annoyed at the fact that people haven't found out something to top it. There's got to be a way to get some better effects in! -reviews vid-
eek Um...okay, never mind that. But Toushi REALLY took my breath away too. It's synch was incredible and so were the concepts and ideas behind it. It is THE best Naruto video I have ever seen. Naruto Fanfarria was also really good in it's music mixing and synching. It had some pretty decent effects, and the funny parts at the end were an enjoyable break from the emo-ness and action in the beginning.
Another favorite I'd have to say are the VERY enjoyable AMV Hell and AMV Hell 2. Damn funny!
Scream...AHHH!! xd Oooohh. AMV Hell was at Fanime last year. I liked it a lot, but one of my friends got really offended at the Grave of the Fireflies part. My favorite part of watching it in the competition was how the ENTIRE room went silent where they'd been laughing uproariously before. All things considered, I like 1 better than 2, if for no other reason that the Sasaki Kill Bill random thing. Toushi is good. It is without a doubt the best Naruto AMV I have. Second would probably be Wave Country Sadness. We need to talk when they get this year's VCA nominees up.
Those two happened to be damn hilarious.

I laughed like crazy when I saw that, because before I could never think of Grave of the Fireflies as anything but incredibly angst and depressing.
There was this other movie that showed at Otakon, it was meant to be romance or something, and it went on for FOREVER. The entire room started laughing hysterically when the main lady figure got stabbed through the stomach at the end. sweatdrop

Effects: The generic effects for a decent Top 10% action vid. Yadda...

Effects: An artsy vid...surprisingly focuses more on content than effects...whatever effects exist are either extremely or barely noticable. 3nodding

Skizzors THREEPARTS. Some people would be a lot cooler if they didn't exist. Four-square used to be fun.. Note to self: Do not do homework on bus, feeling dizzy is not good. And! In art class today, we had to start drawing these hanging scroll type things on rice paper.. we're doing them in pencil first. Then the outlines in black paint. Then, if we want to, color paint. When we started.. five minutes in, everyone's drawing. Mountains. Birds. Flowers. Trees. I have no clue what to do.. then. Then it dawns on me. KA-TA-MA-RI. Katamari = Win, I just got the Namco holiday demo disk with a demo of Katamari! Oh happy day! domokun heart
