HonoRaven *wishes you gues were still speaking english..instead of gamerish* xp It's geekish, not gamerish. Gamerish would be, "Ok, so dude, Cloud and Yuffie are dead, only Vincent is alive by he has final attack double summon Phoenix and only 25 mana left."

Psh. You'd think that attractiveness would decrease as you get beaten to hell and back... but that's not the case in fantasy. You remain attractive ALWAYS.
Though I suppose things like scars would give you Attractive - 1, Rugged +1. razz
You'll be the random NPC that shows up when people cast a 'raise dead' spell.
Party healer: "Raise dead!" Maximos: *poofs* "Five dollars." Party healer: "...wh-whut!?" Maximos: "Five dollars. It's a bribe. Non-negotiable. You want your d00d back or not?" Party healer: *Digs in his pocket.* Maximos: "Awesome." *Crams a soul into the corpse's mouth.*

It makes no sense that you'd get beaten up a lot and not have your attractiveness go down.
But it also makes no sense for people to permanently lose points that they'd put into stats just because they got a little roughed up through the course of normal play.
So it'd either have to be some type of 'transfer it to another area' thing, or a temporary ability score damage that's brought back later.
Five dollars. *Goes to class.*

I'd go with temporary ability score damage if the wounds are anything serious or, y'know, get on something you'd see a lot like the face.
But unless players want a permanant, serious scar, or something really big happens like catching that 5th level fire spell to the face, you're probably recovering points when the cleric heals you.
And I mean, yeah, there's magic. I guess it's just a stat that gets point loss a lot more easily than the others, so if you want to bother keeping it up you have to either avoid injury or keep that white mage handy.
Not sure how that'd transfer into gaming rules, but....

Not sure how that'd transfer into gaming rules, but.... Well, basically, ya. Most wounds can be healed and some might leave a nasty scar unless you cough something up to get the scar removed. Untill then, if it's something nasty lookin, your APP score WILL take a negative modifier

Just to add before I go.
You could simplify it all and go Tri-Stat style? xd heart
Really though. You shouldn't complicate the game mechanics and fuddle things by having your system's pot call the kettle black. Charisma is a mixture of force of personality and physical attractiveness, though these issues are supposed to be mirrors of each other. Orcs are brutish and mean, and reflecting that is their more war-driven and less refined look. Elves are graceful and serene, reflected by their lithe forms and youthful features. Some elves are distant and aloof, and this is reflected in their society and in minor things you see about their facial expressions such as the rarity of a smile.
Other things change it like the oozemaster. Your distance from society and creepy vibe manifest as you detach yourself from all things humanoid, and as such you become alien both in appearance and in though. How attractive a character is depends on their charisma, but unless it demands a check it should be RPed to determine.

APP has it's uses and at the same time, can be considered useless. It's one of those toss up stats

Squall has a big scar right across his face. It makes him MORE attractive. Just like in DnD it means your scarred, but it ADDS to you.

I'm not argueing, simply suggesting. A dragon is going to have a high charisma and attract people even in it's scaled form, not because it's sexually appealing, but rather because of the sheer magnitude of it's personality. There are spells designed specifically to lower charisma, as well as spells to heal damages like that.
It's like trying to say Rinoa likes Squall less because of the massive gash across his face.
Edit: Lmao Maximos! Right on. xd
