Well. She'd be having a talk with Ukaia as well then. "I see. Did you think about maybe waiting to drink it when you weren't sick?" she asked, voice dangerously pleasant. "Because, as I recall, it was only a few days ago that your sneezing was causing a bit of mayhem. Drinking is probably not a good idea when things like that are happening."

That relaxed a great deal of the tension she'd been feeling. "Alright then." she murmured, then went quiet again, still lightly stroking his hair.

Arlen pulled his arm away from his eyes looking up at Lily. "What about Crystal?" he asked, worried he might have condemned the part of her he hoped to save from his stupidity.

At that, Lily's jaw tightened again; did he think of nothing else? Forcing herself to relax, she shrugged. "I have a spell. I need Cerri to get back to me on whether it's okay or not. Your Crystal will be fine again soon, alright?"

"Do you want anything to eat?" Lily asked him shortly, still annoyed with him, for a moment forgetting to keep her voice at a whisper. "Or shall I just get you a beer or something like that?"

"You... want to go?" Lily asked softly, then turned her head, shrugging her shoulders. "It's your decision." She had been being rather a b***h towards him lately, she knew... but she couldn't help it. It hurt when he seemed more concerned about Crystal then he was about her.

"I don't want you to go, you idiot." Lily whispered, clenching her hands tightly in her lap. "I just want..." she stopped, unable to articulate what she was feeling. For all that she was magical and whatnot, she was still only seventeen, and girls that age are rather prone to both being jealous and being unable to admit it. "I want..."

Lily winced at that, ears drooping. She was the problem here, she realized. "Nothing. I don't want anything. I'm sorry Arlen." she whispered, eyes fixed on the floor. She had to be better... lately she hadn't been at all deserving of him.

Lily sniffled, shrugging a bit. "I just want things to be like they were before she came." she whispered, eyes still on the floor, lost in her own little world of misery. "I'm tired of you talking about her, or asking about her... I'm tired of trusting her and then having her hurt me. I hate it."
