Malaryush dot_com That's when the forums come in handy, but buying stuff from the forums takes so damn long! scream Yeah, I usually scout out most of the store items I want via massive inventory sales... It's definitely slow going, but the deals are generally better. On the other hand, the recent outpouring of items onto the Marketplace as people scrounge to get overpriced donation items has left me with some very nice deals. whee

dot_com Yesh! 3nodding I love AMV.org! I used to be one the huge regulars in their forum. The only person I can even remember from there is hitokiri, I think. Their avitar made me happy. whee heart I miss that forum so much. I have tons of AMVs downloaded onto my comp. Since I'm a member, I check Top 10% ALL the time. I think Euphoria has been up there for pretty much more than a year now. It hasn't been beaten, and I don't think it will until more technology comes out. My personal favorite is called Toushi using Naruto. It was second there for a while, but I think it got beaten out. The synch, concept, just everything fit so well together. I even talked to the person who made it, and basically...erm...about where to find Adobe premiere...if you get my drift. ninja He's really nice. whee heart I still didn't get a word he said though...but um...that's...okay. Mikashi and I judge and rate AMVs a LOT now, it's the thing we do. 3nodding We're really picky about which AMV goes where, which was really a contrast to what we used to see before. We found a CD with some old AMVs burned on it, and OOOOWIEEE were they...well they had effort, I'm sure...but they can't beat Euphoria. sweatdrop The AMV marathons at Otakon are SO much fun though! whee heart 4laugh
And the Eva set I got was like $12 or so...I think, if you have a KB Toys or a Toys R Us or something where you live, you can get Zoids and some other anime kits pretty cheap.
And how the heck did you get to meet all these people like VO and Ling?? I need to go back again. whee Full of goodies... I'm way behind on my AMVs at this point, I'm sure. I'll have to look into it...if I can ever tear myself away from fishing for long enough. gonk Must defend my 25th place spot...with my life!! :tiny-scream:I know where a Toys R Us is... If I ever have money. gonk Stupid...working for no pay... *sob* They all came to Anime Expo last summer. 3nodding They had a booth set up in the dealer's hall and they were all standing around greeting people at various points. I spent a little while chatting with Lanzer there, about sootfaces and such. xd They also had a gathering outside one day, and that's when I got to chat with L0cke for a bit. There were a ton of people from Gaia, but aside from the admins I only recognized a couple -- a mod and a couple of regular Q&Fers. It was still a lot of fun, anyway.

One of the questions: Do you believe in God?
The answer I picked: No, he is man's concept.
The quiz immediately stopped, told me that I wasn't getting into Heaven until I could accept him in my heart, blah blah blah.
They're praying for me. surprised

I want to meet teh Mala too! whee But no one comes to Otakon. sad At least, I didn't see a Gaia booth set up the last time I went there. Maybe things have changed though, I think the last one I went to was 2002 convention. Hmm... surprised We shall see... Since I'm going to Otakon this year. whee I cannot wait! I get to go with Morbid and Indy along with Mikashi and her few friends, who I'm doing a Naruto cosplay with. And we're holding up signs saying "Sasuke the Burninator" and one that has pictures from the Narutard video.

And yes! Please come to Otakon! If you pre-register, I think it's $30 as opposed to $50 for the entrance fee? I'll have to check though. And I think it's for the 3 days. I'm not sure though. I really need to check that. Maybe I can convince my parents to let you stay with us! We live about half an hour away from the convention site, so it wouldn't be that bad. Maybe I can skip one day of band camp too. ("And then...this one time at band camp!..." AMERICAN PIE! whee )
