Xenos Mortium Well, I'd certainly like to see more doctrines, just to get greater diversity and more unique armies. Also, I personally think that the Ratlings and Ogryns could be done away with, gone the way of the Beastmen. They may have some fluff for 'em, but I think as the game develops and gets further away from "Orks in Space" that they will find less reason for their existance. A new alien race or two might be nice as well, though it'd take a Hell of a lot to develop them. Oh, and the addition of the Adeptus Mechanicus, as a part of the Guard, the Inquisition, or as their own army. I don't really care how they do it, but I'd absolutely love to see them get in on the action with all of their archaic yet advanced technology. Perhaps if they were to have a codex like the Inquisitorial armies where they could take Allies, that would be nice. Well, as they just made new ogryns (nice ones too) I doubt theyll be going anywhere, Personally I like ogryns, if the empire is willing to tamper with genetics like theyre currently doing, then I dont see why ogryns would have to go. If the ogre/gnome comparisons are too much, then just say theyre a primitive genetic engineering attempt some time after the HH.
As for the ratlings, as much as I like their rules, I could also see why theyre droppable. But honestly, I like to see things added in new codexes, not taken away.
The Mechanicus arent hard to represent. Just make some mix of Inquisitorial forces as a gaurd army with some of the key technology based doctrines and youre set. Model them appropriately, and ta da.

yes it is definately to small since I know that Valkyries can land on their decks. The are better described as a Land Battleship, when I think about them I think Big Tray from Mobile Suit Gundam. And for praetorian I would definately go with the WWII battleship style commandd deck

I'd go with a more Gothic-Victorian (read: steampunk) style when using the Victorians, so brass pipes and steam powered pistons. I also feel the urge to watch Steam Boy again.

You should watch last exile. The bridge of the Silvana gives the just right feel, to be sitting on that awesome war machine

Sgt_OBrien Are there rules out there for that thing? They just came out with rules for a bunch of super-heavy crap over at Bell of Lost Souls; I remember seeing the Leviathan in there.

eek Holy ********. Even my Shadowswords aren't that big. eek
Still, reminds me of when I tried to build my own command tank. I ended up scrapping the project in favour of building a mobile base, but even that didn't pan out well. It was too ambitious of a project to finish, although if I find the rules I made for it, I'll post them up (if I'm allowed).

Yeah, but realise that this one is very small compared to if it were in real scale. Let us put it this way, whole regiments[i/] ofcarried by these slow moving behemoths. Leviathans are comparable to short hive spires instead of vehicles.
