Maddy released her Sliggoo as a Gible climbed out of the water.
"Man, this is such a weird moat."
Gible rushed forward and hit Sliggoo with Dragon Claw. The attack was effective, wiping out about a third of Sliggoo's health.
"Dragon Pulse!"
This attack, however, hit harder. Gible could hardly stand afterwards. It suddenly let out a tiny roar and retaliated with Outrage, dealing a powerful hit and finishing off Maddy's Pokemon.
"Oh, wow. Go, Fletchinder!"
She released the small bird Pokemon.
"Acrobatics!"
The attack hit hard since Fletchinder's movement wasn't hindered by a held item. Gible fainted.
Maddy returned her Pokemon and waited for the others.

"On it!" Ace said as she went to one of the ripples. She waited for whatever came out. As a slugma came out of the ripples, she paused a bit before saying. "I'm just not going to even question how this one came out." She then sends out her duosion. "Sal, psychic!"
Sal then usd his psychic powers to damaged the slugma. It attacks Sal through its bursting flames.
"Psyshock!"
"The duosion then sends an odd wave toward the slugma, fainting the wild pokemon. Ace then returned the pokemon before returning with the rest of the group.

Allen looked toward the outside of the moat to find a Masquerain actually stuck to the surface and muttered, "You mentioned a film. Ecrelys, Rock Slide." The Kabutops leaped back to a huge pile of leftover stones meant for the wall and sent many of them soaring to crash down over the Masquerain, instantly ripping it from the film and sending it on it scurrying away.

They finished up the last of the Pokemon, their job finished. She turned to her teammates.
"Awesome work, guys! Here's 2000 PD each for your trouble." She said, handing everyone their money.
"I guess this means that the bridge can be rebuilt whenever we want now that we don't have random Pokemon attacking us."
She took out her to-do list and scratched off the moat. However, she added another task.
"I've added clearing the water to the list now. It will probably clear on it's own over time, now that it's not infested with everything, but I'm sure the owner of the castle would like to see it pristine sooner than later."

Ace collected the money before glancing at the castle or rather, their new headquarters. "I'm still surprised how the owner agreed to let us use it as our base for the time being for just tidying the place." She commented.

"Sounds good." Allen returned his Pokemon and nodded, taking his money and returning inside. He swiped his tools again, grabbed a few more of the replacement locks and moved to start replacing some of the locks on the doors downstairs.

Misery lays down at the top of the castle, staring up at the sky. She watches the clouds roll by. She knew she should help fix up the castle, but her mind was elsewhere.
She lets out a deep sigh as a cloud move in front of the sun.

Maddy was sitting down in front of the castle, looking up at the sun as it slowly started to sink. She got a message on her TADS and opened the device, reading the text on the screen.
"Perfect." She said, responding to the text and pocketing the device again.

Maddy let out a sigh and climbed to her feet.
"Everyone should be appearing soon..."
She looked up at the sky, the moon was slowly rising higher and higher.

Dimitri arrived in front of the wooden bridge that leads towards the castle, holding onto the strap of his backpack as his backpack was strapped loosely to his back. He had just gotten back from wandering around Camphrier town, the very town that the castle resided within. His cyndaquil could be seen curled up in a ball on Dimitri's head, the fire mouse pokemon was peacefully sleeping on the trainers head like a baby pokemon. Yet, His Cranidos whom he reffered to as 'hammerhead' was hyper-actively hopping around while repeatedly headbutting the air in an excited manner. "Well, glad to see that this place is not a total ghost town... hopefully more people arrive before the party starts."

Allen tightened the last screw on the lock leading to one of the treasure rooms, he checked the time and jumped, "Oh man, I gotta get outside..." He sighed and turned to see all the hard work he'd been putting into changing the locks around the castle. Not many now, "But it sure wold be nice if I had the help." Indeed it would be, of course, he didn't start out helping much. (9/15)
Regardless, after cleaning his hands and checking to make sure his Pokemon were all in their respective balls, he headed out to take in the calm night air.
