Colonel Iyam A Heita I personally characters brimming with "coonery" as you put it should be more wide-spread. Super Saiyan Hank Hill is "coon" character. He is an exaggerated since of middle-class white America and we praise Hael for that s**t. Let Bojucka be silly, tight a** and focus on his fighting mechanic for criticism. You are right. Its not that big of a deal.

Heit don't put your foot in your mouth with a statement like that again please. I may make Bojuka a 70's stereotype but that Hill character is in noway shape or form 'coon' and to call him such is more offensively outrageous than funny

Yeah, Hank Hill is a deep, emotionally vested character and to imply I'm mocking stereotypes with him is an insult of great racial implications.
Good you have my back, OutlawD. You tell him.

Tres Ecstuffuan OutlawD One Its not a racial caricature but ya know what even if it was….it's of my race so as part of said race i could do that if I wanted. Yyyeah never listened to Migos... I don't know man. I mean stuff like "should black people say ****** around white people" is an on going debate within the black community. Your character comes off like a jiving walking talking stereotype brimming with coonery. I don't know what your race is beyond you simply saying that you are black. All in all the way you portray your character is...I dunno...Uncouth. Of course it is but the 'er' and 'a' are two very different things rather whites or other races want to admit it or not… He's going to come off as 'jive talking' cause thats how they spoke in the 70s when it comes to that kind of stuff. They made rhymes even in non-blackspolitation films and TV. He's in no way a blacksploitation but he does make reference to the 'funk' of the 70's. Any kind of joke caricature is going to come off as some kind of uncouth, but I can understand your concern. I will say though that on the other side of this virtual screen I am black, and in no way shape or form racist. But the fact of there matter is a stereotype isn't necessarily racist.

Vintrict I find it funny after all these years, we have never been in a battle roleplay together. It's how the dice roll. I've never been in a roleplay of any form with a number of people you'd think otherwise. OutlawD One ]I will say though that on the other side of this virtual screen I am black, and in no way shape or form racist. Well.. technically everyone's racist to some degree and it's naive to think otherwise, but I know what you think you mean. cool

Jecht is black. Why do you think he excelled at Blitzball? And don't give me that black people can't swim angle. Cullen Jones is one of the best swimmers around.

It's not your fault. How is it that I am limited? If anyone is limited in these short back and fourth quotes that built its you….'coon' is a racial slur developed and used towards blacks not whites…nothing about the word coon is racial towards whites, look it up before you use it and definitely before you call me limited for knowing what it means. If anything is racist its you using the word 'coon'. Nothing racist has been said between Hank Hill and Bojuka and nothing racist has been said by them either. As wacky as those two caricatures are they are not and have not been racist and I'm sure in the moment that they are in anyway hateful towards someone based on race they will be removed from the tourney cause I'm sure everyone here is in agreement with the statement of that s**t is not cool or acceptable.
