Skuld smiled despite a small spasm of pain and raised her eyebrows, "Dr. Jones, Eh? Please don't tell me that your nickname is 'Indiana'."

Slowly and gingerly, Skuld attempted to sit up still wincing a bit, "Alright Dr. Jones. I don't suppose you know where the kiddnappers are?"

Skuld looked at Tarzan in a bit of confusion, "Actually... We were rescuing a wife and son. Are you saying you're hearing a girl? The docks are an odd place to find a girl."

xxxxxxxxxxxx "A mother and a son? Are you sure? I swear I thought I heard a girl-" he stopped, it was faint, but he heard it. "She said...'dad'." he murmured, "I know for a fact it's not 'Bring Your Kid to Work' day. Even then, as you said it Skuld, there's not a chance in hell that a girl would be here." he muttered as he looked out to the east. "Whatever it is, the voice is coming from that direction, where the older werehouses are at-" he stopped.

"You said mother and son right?" Before she could respond, Joshua was already smelling with his sensitive nose, and found two very unfamiliar scent. One coming from the northeast, the other is down south... but there was no mistake about it, one of the scent is very familiar. To the normal human, if one were to get close to the individual that Joshua is smelling, they would only smell sweat. However to those with the train nose, they could differentiate why that particular individual is sweating. People like Wolverine, Sabertooth and even Wolfbane could smell something like this, but to Joshua, he could do more. With his background information with medicine he's able to figure out what the sweat is, why there sweating, where they're sweating, and how they're sweating it. Not only that, but he can differentiate if the individuals are male or female.

Right now, Joshua is smelling a certain sweat that only the female can produce. A hormone, to be exact, where females would secrete whenever they're nervous about something. However that hormone is secreted for one specific reason.

She's stressed about her child.

"I can smell the mother." He leaped onto the fire escape and quickly climbed up like an ape climbing up a tree. Crouching on the edge of the roof, he took a bigger whiff and sorted out all the smell, ignoring the smell of the salty sea and gunpowder he focused on that particular hormone, the cortisol, and looked over to the south. "She's about 900 yards away, south from here." he took a bigger whiff...

"There's only about two grunts protecting the mother, around the perimeter. If we're fast, we can get to her without alerting the guards."

xxxxxxxxxxxx Dr Jones listened to what she said and focused on the scent again. "No...I don't smell the two at the warehouse you said, I'm sure of it." but just to be sure...he focused on the scents again. He was sure that he couldn't smell them at the...wait. "I smell Yuriko. She's over at the direction where the girl is at."

Skuld shrugged confusedly at Tarzan, rolling her shouldered upward as she did so, "Considering the luck I've been having.... I'm more than willing to follow your nose on this one. Lead the way, Doctor."

A little stiffly, the redheaded goth moved to follow Tarzan.

Carefully taking his sniping position once more, Big Daddy took careful aim at what appeared to be the lead thug, "Tool up, Honey Bunny. I got the one wearing the felt hat. You nail the two geniuses with the Browning M2HB 50 cal that's covering the building. When you're ready, give a three count -- and we'll shoot at the same time. Then it's just targets of opportunity after that."


Yuriko overheard the basic plan, and immediately dropped to the first floor quietly. The experienced Japanese assassin skulked to a shadow very close to the entrance where the thugs where approaching -- waiting for them to enter the warehouse. While remaining very still and in her ambush spot, Lady Deathstrike slowly extended her claws...

Outside the warehouse where Hit-Girl and Lady Deathstrike were, eight of D'Amico's goons got in position to enter the warehouse. Two of the men operated the 50 caliber machine gun on a tripod, one to shoot, and the other to feed the gun belt. Meanwhile, the lead thug in a felt hat positioned three of his guys at one door and himself and the other two at the second door on the south side of the warehouse.

As Hit-Girl shot the thug with the machine gun on a tripod, Big Daddy squeezed off a silenced shot at the lead thug. The target du jour had the back of his head explode in a spray of blood and gore -- falling dead well before hitting the concrete.

The two men with the fallen man rush into the warehouse to escape the crossfire. Unfortunately for these two, Lady Deathstrike landed with claws leading. After a few slashes, bloody body parts came flying out the same warehouse door.

The other three goons at the second door saw the demise of their comrades, and started to flee in terror -- especially seeing half a head land near them.

xxxxxxxxxxxx → The doctor nodded and soon found himself contorting his body majestically to soar through the sky and leap onto buildings after buildings. He got a scent and was quickly registering on remembering the scent. Soon gunfire echoed in the distance, and he saw three goons lay in their pool of blood. Leaping down onto the ground, he looked at the wound; bullet wound, head shot. Tore straight through the cranium, the brain and out. Judging from the back wound, it was at least a fifty cal that shot through them. They didn't have a chance.

Arms and legs also laid out in the streets. Carnage. That's the best he could describe it. He took in the scent that was inside the building once more and smelled massive amount of Cortisol that was being emitted in the building. Corpses and half-dead. But there's one ...no wait, two? Wait...

Yuriko.

The ones responsible are all inside.

But what of the hostages?
