Jack understood that Dacien had promise, but he knew for a fact that the man was too gutless to stab a woman, especially Katherine. And so, he did not panic, simply remaining where he stands.

"He better not or I will be out of a job again." Kanis said as he rounded the corner, he walked over to where they wear standing, and loosened his swords in there sheaths.

"Fine..." Zypher said pulling back the daggers not harming the man in any way. He didn't move though from behind the crazed lord. He wasn't going to let his gaurd down for anything around the threat made.

Paradox looked at the movement that the nameless man had made. It wa much faster than his own speed, but that didn't matter in training. There were several things that were extremely important in the training, and the biggest one was the training of things one didn't understand. "Move back to the spot. We will try again." he said simply, raising his tomahawk to throw again.
Lord Dracien eyed Zypher contemptuously, but did not put his sword down. "I do not want to put this weapon down. You want to remove your daggers from my neck." The lord dracien retorted calmly in his own cold voice. He didn't smile at Katherine. "It was at the temple of Ceclation, and I never took part in that war, if you remember. It's the reason why the other nobles hate me so much." he said, explaining himself. His eyes darted to jack, too. "I heard them rumors and beleived them, before I sawthe monster the last time I came here, standing there, like nothing was wrong." Lord Dracien spat. he clearly had no love for the General.

It seems as though Dacien has decided to stay over the line here. Jack's free hand lifts, index finger extending as it points upwards. It now sways back and forth as he replies to the man. "Now.. I assure you, my good Man.. that it would be wise to relax while in the face of the head of this Kingdom. I would not want you to slip, for if you do harm someone I would not wish harmed.. You will know real fear.. Not just hiding in the mists, but right in front of your face."
The swordsman would make his way back to that spot after giving a single nod, not another word for the time being, he simply remains silent. Why should he stand there while the man throws weaponry at him? Well.. he would, as he would now put his senses on simply by intuition. That gaze remains upon Paradox's despite the helmet worn by that dark figure.

Zypher said nothing he didn't smile or react to Kanis when he showed himself. His weapons were withdrawn as he moved over next to the queen to intercept the blade if the lord had actually gone mad. It was doubtfull.... But Zypher wanted to be sure.

Kartherine ae a slight shrug. "I care not what he was before he is loyal to Llyr thats all i need to know. I am glad you were worried about me but i promise you Lord Dracien no ill will come from my men." She paused for a moment, "I believe I have finshed discussing this with you, did you have any other business?" A smile came back to her lips then not once did she seem mad at him.

The queen's actions help put Zypher at ease. He was edgy from all the trouble lately since it was something he actually couldn't find an answer for. But at least the queen had her wits about her.
"Well after the sword stunt talking to the man doesn't appeal to me right now." Zypher said with a sigh. No way he was going to leave the queen alone right now after this.

Paradox watched the man go back to the spot, and took a different stance this time. "There is a simple reason for this. If you can dodge an axe, without moving, you can dodge anything anybody can throw at you. Now, strike me." Paradox told the man calmly. The axe was flung therough the air, but this time, it turned horizontal, aiming for the man's feet. Paradox wouldn't make such an easy thing to dodge this time.
Lord Dracien scowled at her. "You have fallen under too much peace, Queen Katherine. You have bought your own shovel and sleep in your own grave, waiting for somebody to come along and bury you. You will regret your decision and your trust in that monster. You will regret allying with hell." He said coldly, in warning, and turned to leave. The lord was completely convinced that Paradox was the source of all these problems and everything bad that had ever happened in the kingdom. His mind flashed back to the screams, and the dead bodies that had dissapeared. he shivered.

Katherine touched Zypher on the sholder lightly. "He is just upset i think, worried like everyone else. Its easy to put the blame on someone else." Katherine looked back to all of them and then went over to a small table aginst the wall pouring herself a small bit of wine.

Zypher watched the lord leave with the unnessesary warnings. He looked at Katherine and sighed.
"Well that makes him and myelf. I still haven't found out much on those death guys besides thier names. With that comes a few more clues but not what we need." Zypher sighed. He sat down at the other side of the table.
"Got anything stronger than wine around? I'm gonna need it." Zypher conitnued.
"Oh by the way that guy over there is the other of the two. Kanis in case you forgot." Zypher said to the queen.

There was no way he was going to catch, or halt a weapon sent flying by Paradox. The swordsman would leap straight upwards. Technically he was not moving in any flat direction. His knees lift in his jump, and he lands back down after that tomahawk flies by. Landing in a crouch, he would blink, his feet having reached a height of something like five feet in the air. Landing hurt a bit as he was not ready for it.
Jack would remain silent, having nothing to say for the time being.

Kanis let out a long held breath. He was afraid that he may actually haft to work. "Get another glass for me Zypher." He walked around the table till he came to Zypher, he pulled up a chair close to him so that he could fill him in on some things. "So who was that anyway?"

"I have not forgotten but i seem to rembmer nothing of him the night before only your other friend." She spoke not even glanceing his way. She looked over to one of the servants asking for something a bit stronger which the seervant went to find her gaze then found Jack's. "Which person then were you?" She ment in the painting.
