Kira’s Song

Kira stepped off the dirt road that ran through the village, heading towards the woods. A slight tune had been running through her head the whole day. She wanted to find a place to finish her thought on the rhythm. It was pretty. Really pretty. But she wasn’t sure what the song should be about. Something important. About someone. But who? Her pace was slow and as gentle as the song that ran through her head. Graceful and perfect. It was the only thing that could describe her walk. Her whole being. Kira wasn’t aware of the fact though. It was what drew the boys her age, and younger, to her. The song in her head was beginning to take shape. The tone, the loudness, the feel; it was all forming. Slowly, but surely. Soon her mind settled on making about someone special. Someone who meant the world to her. Saiya. Kira’s humming and little noises seemed to drift through the woods quite well. Seeing as it could be heard in the village. It was as though it was a song from the angels. Drifting faintly over the breeze, her words began to form. “I didn’t wanna to listen, to what you were sayin’. I thought that I knew all I need to know.” Her heart began to beat faster as she looked up at the hole in the trees above her. “I didn’t realize that somewhere inside me, I knew you were right, but I couldn’t say so.” With a deep breath her voice grew a bit. “ And I can take care of myself. Yeah. You taught me well.” Thinking back on all the things that Saiya had shown her over her stay in Otogakure, the next part of her song came through to her mind perfectly. “I learned from you that I do not crumble. I learned that strength is something you choose. All of the reasons to keep on believing. There’s no question that’s a lesson I learned from you.” She kept her walking slow and graceful, never speedy or in a hurried manner.

Her head was filled with little parts of her song, unsure about what the next part should be, she paused her singing for a moment. Her voice carried through the village. The ending of her voice would cause a sadness to entire the hearts of the people. Her voice was as soft as silk and ran through their ears like heaven’s own special background music. Most people never get to hear Kira speak, so not very many people knew her voice. Occasionally, she would head to the forest to sing without giving warning. Picking up where she had left off, her voice arose once more from her tiny body, filling the air of the village once more. “We always don’t agree on what is the best way to get to the place that we’re going from here. But I can really trust you and give you the distance to make your decisions without interference.” Her voice rose once again, louder than before to make herself known to whoever it was she was singing this song to. Perhaps the trees were listening to her? They were her singing partners, as they let their leaves sway from side to side. “I’m grateful for all of the times you opened my eyes. I learned from you that I do not crumble. I learned that strength is something you choose. All of the reasons to keep on believing. There’s no question that’s a lesson I learned from you.” Her voice grew louder, something that hadn’t happened very often. Her heart was in the song. Kira’s love for Saiya and everything she’d done for her.

“You taught me to stand on my own and I thank you for that. You saved me, and made me. And now that I’m looking back I can say, oh~!” Kira stopped in her tracks, looking through the trees to the village she had come to love. Would she truly have to leave this place one day? Her heart ached for a moment as she continued on. “I learned from you that I do not crumble. I learned that strength is something you choose. All of the reasons to keep on believing. There’s no question that’s a lesson I learned from you, I leaned from you~. I learned that strength is something you choose. All of the reasons to keep on believing. There’s no question that’s a lesson I learned from you, yeah. I learned from you.” Her voice faded with her last few notes. That was her song. A tribute to her Saiya-nee-chan. Though, she’d never get to hear it. It comforted her to know that she could create something so beautiful from a few notes that ran randomly through her mind. A deep sigh escaped the fifteen year old as she turned on a heel to return to the village. Kira would need to write her words down back at the Uchiha Estate before they escaped her mind. Walking through the village with her eyes to the ground, she wouldn’t notice anyone who passed by. She was completely oblivious once more to the fact when she sang, her voice carried to the far reaches of the village.

That's really good, but the part where she is oblivious to her body should be in another paragraph or not there at all. Otherwise great. Man I just realized it's like 1:45 her, I'm going to go to sleep.

And last but not least, here's Saiya's song. XD my retarded posts make themselves known once again.

Saiya’s Song

Saiya stretched her arms high above her head, and yawned. She had been doing nothing but paper work all damn morning. Looking out the window with half-lidded eyes, she groaned. It was such a nice day today damn it!!! Why was she cooped up inside this freaking office?! Hey…Who ever said she couldn’t sneak out? A sly look snuck onto her face as she looked around. For once, her secretary wasn’t there. She had to go and take care of her shop today. Thank goodness! Opening the window enough for her to slip through, she was out of the office and on her way! Saiya ran as fast as she could through the village. It was a good thing it was just after lunch! The old people were probably taking naps, and the kids have their Academy classes to attend. It was the perfect time to sneak out. Hm…Kids…Kira and Akeru…They were good kids. A sudden warmth came to her heart as they passed through her mind. They were angels to her. They were the only thing that kept her sane. After the attack on Otogakure, Saiya was pretty messed up. All her time went into protecting and doing anything for the Uchiha clan. As the head of the Uchiha clan it was sort of her responsibility. She had ignored it for quite a long time too. It had always made Saiya mad. She had became a Kage, became the head of the family, and yet her father still wouldn’t acknowledge her. He would ignore her, like she was nothing but a mistake. Did he really hate her so much? Did she really do something so horrible to fall out of her father’s pleasure? Just what had she done? Her thoughts veered from her father, back to the two kids who she had come to love as her own children. Saiya wouldn’t be as she was now if the two hadn’t come on that day. Kira and Akeru had come on such a horrible day…The day the attack happened. Saiya’s dreams for the two of them were great. For them to become great shinobi and leave the village. To go back to their village they had come to Otogakure from. To show what they had. Akeru could show up his family about being such a mess up and Kira could show that she could handle herself. Saiya was tired about all the things she’d heard from the two of their families about how bad they were. Saiya knew them better than anyone else in the family and regretted having to give the two of them up. She would always get to see them when the Uchiha family got together…but she didn’t know when that was. Saiya hoped that the two of them could prove themselves.

Coming up to the Academy, she stopped and stared a moment. One of the things that meant the world to her was in there. Little Akeru… She wondered where Kira’s team was at this point in the day. Saiya had given them a D rank mission early that morning. Saiya groaned again at the fact she couldn’t give Kira a hug bye for the day because of that damn rule about Kage’s having to be ‘professional.’ Heh, screw that, she just wanted to hug Kira. A smile came across her face as she looked at the window of the Academy to get a glace of Akeru. The two people she loved floated across her mind until she opened her mouth and let her voice spill it‘s pleasure. Her voice was satin and as beautiful as the sunset. She never let very many people hear her sing. Mainly because it was one thing she was scared of doing. She only did it when she thought people wouldn‘t hear her. Sometimes she‘d get a sudden urge to sing and couldn‘t help it. Much like now. “I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow, and each road leads you where you wanna go. And if you’re faced with a choice and you have to choose. I hope you choose the one that means the most to you. And if one door opens to another door closed, I hope you keep on walking ‘til you find the window. If it’s cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile. But more than anything, more than anything. My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you wanted to. Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small. You never need to carry more than you can hold. And while you’re out there getting where you’re getting to, I hope you know somebody loves you. And wants the same things too. Yeah, this, is my wish.” Saiya took one last glance at Akeru before turning and heading out to the rice farm. That was where Kira and her team was assigned to do their mission. As she walked her voice kept on. She was loving the feel of voicing her love. The kids meant more to her than anything. She knew their time for leaving Oto would come soon. “I hope you never look back but you never forget, all the ones who love you and the place you left. I hope you always forgive and you never regret and you help somebody every chance you get. Oh, you find god’s grace in every mistake, and always give more than you take. But more than anything, more than anything. Yeah, more than anything. ” Just then, Saiya spotted the long dark haired girl in one of the rice fields. Keeping her eyes on the girl, she started her song once more. “My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you wanted to. Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small. You never need to carry more than you can hold. And while you’re out there getting where you’re getting to, I hope you know somebody loves you. And wants the same things too. Yeah, this, is my wish.” Saiya played and stretched the notes, creating an elongated sound that rang through the part of the fields she was in. Thank goodness she wasn’t too close for Kira or the others to hear. Once more, she began her song.

“My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you wanted to. Your dreams stay big, your worries stay small. You never need to carry more than you can hold. And while you’re out there getting where you’re getting to, I hope you know somebody loves you. And wants the same things too. Yeah, this, is my wish. This is my wish. I hope you know somebody loves you. May all your dreams stay big.” Saiya stayed a bit longer before realizing she had been away from the office for far too long. Rima must be back by now! Turning around and bolting back to the other side of the village, she darted through the road. Damn! Her and her damn songs!!! They would surely get her in trouble this time! Reaching the office, she door was open and the window was shut. Oh no…Rima had returned…Saiya then braced herself to get yelled at. Walking into the office she raised her hands up in surrender, as a sweat drop rolled down her cheek. “Uh…hey there Rima…”

Last but not least! Saiya and Kira sing together XD Saiya is now a singing instructor!!! I think I'll quite my stories for today XD I don't want to spam the thread with nothing but these stories. They aren't very good anyway.

Kira and Saiya Play

Kira kept her hand laced with Saiya’s as they walked out to the forest. It was a place the both of them could be without others bothering them. Lately, the two of them had come to sing songs together. Saiya had suggested they find time to get together without interference to create something together. Today was the perfect time. Kira thought of Saiya as a sister and a mother. She’d taken care of her for so long it seemed like second nature to think of her that way. “Alright then, Kira, let’s hear what you have. You are better at thinking up words, all I can do is think of rhythms.” Kira nodded and thought for a moment…What would be the first words? She couldn’t think of anything at the moment. Saiya watched as Kira’s face seemed to show discomfort. “Alright, uh, think of something that you, personally, don’t like.” Kira looked at Saiya in the eyes before whispering, “I…don’t like to be…alone in the night…” Saiya thought for second before coming up a perfect little hum to go with it. “Try to sing to this,” Saiya said as she hummed a beginning note, before continuing on. It was a beautiful sound, just coming from the hum. If Saiya could create something like that just from no where, then Kira had to make equally beautiful lyrics.

Kira cleared her throat before starting are words. The song had a sort of…higher pitch, angel type sound to it. Something that Kira was adept at singing as. Every now and then the hum would go higher, meaning Kira would have to change her keys to fit the music. “I don’t like to be alone in the night, and I don’t like to hear I’m wrong when I’m right. And I don’t like to have the rain on my shoes but I do love you, but I do love you.” As Saiya continued to hum her notes, she wondered who it was Kira was making these lyrics about. Making it more interesting, Saiya turned up the anti on the notes, making Kira get louder and slightly more forceful with her voice. “I don’t like to see the sky painted grey. And I don’t like when nothing’s going my way. And I don’t like to be the one with the blues but I do love you, but I do love you.” Saiya sat down on one of roots that had come up from the ground. Sitting there, she could see how Kira’s facial and body movements changed. It seemed like the girl was getting into this more and more. Perhaps singing was something she was meant to do. Was this shy girl truly a shinobi? Hearing Kira’s voice was soothing, and definitely not something you hear everyday. “Love everything about the way you’re loving me. They way you lay your head upon my shoulder when you sleep. And I’d love to kiss you in the rain…I love everything you do….Oh I do…”

Kira looked over at Saiya who now had a peculiar look on her face. Kira knew she should have chosen better words than that. Saiya might suspect something of her now. “And I don’t like to turn the radio on. Just to find I missed my favorite song. And I don’t like to be the last in the news but I do love you, but I do love you.” Once more the tempo picked up, making Kira’s voice raise as well. Kira knew why Saiya had done it. It had to be the same part she had messed up and sang earlier. If she tried to change it, the song wouldn’t be right. Kira regretted having sung it now. “Love everything about the way you’re loving me. The way you lay your head upon my shoulder when you sleep. And I’d love to kiss you in the rain…I love everything you do…Oh, I do…And I don’t like to be alone in the night. And I don’t like to hear I’m wrong when I’m right. And I don’t like to have the rain on my shoes but I do love you, but I do love you. But I do love you, but I do love you…” Kira’s voice faded as the humming began to die. The song was perfect. In every way. But now Kira knew she would have to deal with Saiya’s questions about the part of the song that she had sung. Kira could feel the cold eyes of Saiya’s burrowing into her skin. “That was great, Kira! You’re getting better and better! It seemed like you were really into it! Like there was actually someone you loved!” Saiya knew Kira didn’t want to talk about it and decided to play the ‘dumb card.’ To pretend like she didn’t notice would probably be better for Kira at this point. “Come on, let’s get going. I’m sure Akeru is at the house crying by now.” Saiya joked, as she grabbed a hold of Kira’s hand and took off towards the village. The Forest was a good place to practice her singing. Perhaps she should come here again?
